This was after my brother showed them the old batteries, the store employees claimed there would be nothing wrong. So he spent $150 on two batteries when lo and behold they don't work with our chargers. He goes back for a refund and they have no sympathy for putting us out $150. The same employees only suggest buying the correct chargers for an extra $70 each on top of money we already spent. Awful service and no thought. Bought two batteries off amazon for $40 and couldn't be happier. Good riddance.

I was asked if I needed help right as I walked in and directed to the hockey cards. They said their inventory for hockey is going to grow but honestly I was pretty happy with what I found! I scored a SPX Quinn Hughes jersey cards and some other upper deck base cards that I was looking for! Seriously though the guy who helped me was so kind and a huge part of what made the experience great. There's another store in town that has hockey cards but everytime I go in I always feel like the employees ignore me so it was a breath of fresh air to have someone excited to help who was so nice. He has on two different occasions tell me that I have been refunded when nothing has been received or confirmed by eBay. In a conversation he told me that the Beckett QR code doesn't match the serial number online and when I asked him to cancel the sale he told me that he didn't say that but the complete opposite.I have it all saved on the messaging system. He claims that his excuse to ignore my questions is because his store only works traditional business hours but he ghosted me at 1:00 p:m only to message me the next day at 5:30 to tell me that he refunded my payment.... Took a picture of a game box to text my wife and was asked why I was taking pictures. I explained. And I heard the story that the original owner died last September and the current owner had inherited the shop but didn't really know how to run it. There's a tiny bit of most kinds of games here but not much current. There's an obvious attempt to involve community but it's not clear me how well that's being received. Two medium sized rooms with tables for play. There were a couple small groups working on miniatures when I stopped. The shop is pretty clearly in decline.
