Awful experience, got a number 4 pedicure and it was a complete rip off. Quick, rushed, and zero pampering. Was there for 30 minutes total and we got the pampering package. Totally disappointed, won't be coming back. Very unfortunate, we had higher expectations. I've had numerous pedicures, and the massage lasted a minute. I specifically went with the fancier pedicure package because I wanted pampering, and I pointed out to them they advertised this package so poorly and misleading if they aren't going to do everything that's listed. I was in area and wanted a pedi for my cousin and I. It's very clean inside. New spa pedicure chairs. Folks were nice enough. I was able to make appointments for us. I just wanted a basic spa pedicure. It was $36. Seems comparable for the area. The person who did mine took her time, didn't feel rushed. The main dude had a hard time with the cc machine, lots of phone calls and yelling. Not a stressful experience till then. Too much panic for a receipt. Too much loud. I have been to this salon multiple times and today I went in for a dip manicure with tips. I asked for an OPI color and clearly showed them the name of it and they said they didn't have the color... I opted for another color and at the end of my appointment the girl next to me got the color I asked for that they said "they didn't have". I was cut on multiple fingers during filing and one started to bleed and it was very painful. When I called to schedule my appointment I was told it would be $50 for the dip and $5 for the tips, when I went to check out they charged me $60 plus the $1.75 card fee, I said I was told it would be $55 and the technician said "yes" so I asked why I was charged another $5 and she just handed me a $5 bill, very odd. read more

When I sat down the man (who seemed new to the establishment) went straight to popping my nails off even after I recommended soaking them and mentioning when I walked in I wanted a soak off. Went there today with some girlfriends. Spent $44 on a basic mani pedi and I'm sad to say my experience wasn't the best. Felt very rushed as they seemed to be busy, but that shouldn't be an excuse for a sloppy/quick job. I saw other reviews and thought the price and experiences seemed pretty positive, but honestly I couldn't have been more wrong. I have had much better experiences at other salons and its also a pretty small space and can get crowded very easily. Waited 30+ minutes to be taken in. I have been going to Dulaney Nails for over a year. I would consider myself to be a terrific customer considering I always tip 20% and I never complain when they overcharge me for their services don't fully meet my expectations. However, today is my last day ever giving them my business. I went in for a full set of acrylics like I normally do, I asked for them to be long & pointy & I provided her with a picture. I sat there for an hour, she had made my nails completely uneven in shape & length. When I asked her to make them uniform she made them even shorter & rounded them. When I told her that wasn't what I wanted she started yelling at me & telling me that's what I asked for (even though I provided her with a picture & my nails looked nothing like the picture). I told her how upset I was considered I was getting my nails done for prom tomorrow. At this point I was extremely upset & had been sitting there for an hour & a 1/2, so I just asked to have them removed. Anyway, there were not fully removed & MY NAILS ENDED UP LOOKING WORSE THAN THEY DID WHEN I WALKED IN THERE. I was furious, but didn't want to make a scene. I went home, calmed down, & called the manager to tell him what happened & ask for a discount or else they wouldn't be receiving my business again. He told me he couldn't do that. So basically they do not value their customers, I spent over 2 hours in there for them to ruin my nails, & their employees will yell at you if their service doesn't meet your expectations! Just went here for a set of acrylics (with gel) yesterday, they're okay but definitely not worth 48$ plus tip. The lady who did mine made me bleed twice and apologized, I get that it happens but still - ouch. She spent a lot of time on what I consider a pretty easy style, she kept filing and filing which resulted in the middle nail on my right hand having a different shape than all the others. I'm new to the area and looking for a new shop to go to, I may go back again but if I find a cheaper place I'll be going there. I really want to give them 0 stars if I could but I am feeling quite generous this morning. Now mind you, I am not from this area and recently moved here for school. I searched on Yelp to try to find the perfect nail salon and although I read mixed reviews I still decided to give them a shot. I got a deluxe pedicure and gel polish full set. Back home, the most I'd pay for that is around $50-65 ish .. why did I pay $82!! Now again, I am all for quality not necessarily the quantity however this was no where near worth $82. CHILD. Look at those pictures. Why does my nails look so bulky? I asked the man doing my nails does white gel get dirty and he said no. WHY IS THE POLISH NOW AN OFF WHITE AFTER A WEEK?!? LORD HAVE MERCY. I would think with the amount of violence going on currently against the Asian community they be kinder to other People of Color. The way the entire team of employees treat the white customers in comparison to the Black customers and customers of color is ridiculous. I was TWO minutes late for an appointment and they yelled at me while I noticed a white girl was 45 minutes late for her 2 o' clock appointment and they greeted her with smiles and laughter as if she was right on time. I only knew she was late because the same person that does my nails was doing her pedicure and told me. I have been going to Dulaney Nails for 3 years or so since I go to Towson University. I understand Vietnamese, and when the nail techs are speaking in Vietnamese it is not about you but that's their first language and they are just talking to each other like normal coworkers. If you not rude to them, they will not be rude to you like any normal person. There is definitely a culture barrier but if you try to understand them, they are very friendly. I usually get Nina or Natalie they are super nice and skillful. If you do not want to wait, call and see when there is someone available or make an appointment. I went for the first time today. I would only recommend if you like nail polish on your skin and not your nails. The salon is sterile but the technician left my nails bumpy and there were areas of my toe nails with NO polish on them at all, and my skin has polish all around the nails and on the cuticles. It's super hygienic with the plastic liners that surround the pedicure basins, all tools are auto claved and they are very gentle but thorough. Today I had the pleasure of receiving a pedicure with V and she was amazing! The nails are chunky and some of them are not properly shaped. Midway through my nails, they told me that because of the length and the type of nail style I chose the price would be 10 dollars more, even after them telling me a different price from the picture that I showed them before they started my nails.
