Wonderful service by Trisha! I usually get a Brazilian wax every 6 weeks and have been for the last 5 years. I recently started seeing the gals at Dulcederm and started sugaring. Sugaring is actually less painful than wax and I believe, cleaner because they arent dipping a tool into the hot wax after touching my nether regions. My service today with Trisha was exceptional. Sugaring is still a bit of a rarity compared to alternatives (namely waxing, threading), but Dulcederm is definitely the place to go! It's located near Beaverton Townsquare and there are a separate parking lot and accessible street parking. Inside is clean, professional, and comforting. Scheduling an appointment through their online system is really easy. (Keep in mind you have to input debit/credit info to book your spot.) So far I've visited Dulcederm twice, once with Tamara and then the second time with Trisha. I had great results with both! The first time I was with Tamara she explained the process really well and let me know that we could take a break whenever I needed one. I even got an ice pack under my neck to help with the "common fight or flight response." Conversation during was light and interesting. I really recommend Dulcederm (and sugaring in general) if you have more sensitive skin, are looking for natural alternatives, or even just curious. read more

They are super nice and accommodating! I got my first bikini sugar waxing and put in the notes that I was super nervous. They added a cold compress for my neck and took me through every step of the process incase I wasn't comfortable with continuing. They make their own products and the atmosphere is super calming! read more

Tamara is seriously the best and sooo quick and thorough...I was done with a full Brazilian in 20 mins today! They also have recommended one of their products for my ingrown hairs (which I have struggled with my entire life!) and it totally works!!! It's called the sweet exfoliator serum and if you use it liberally everyday after you shower (as they suggest) it totally helps get rid of ingrowns. Tamara is wonderful. As a plus-sized woman, there's always an added element of anxiety when I try a new waxer (in this case, sugarer) as I'm never sure how my body will be perceived or treated. Tamara was amazing. I not only felt comfortable with both her and the environment in her office, I was blown away by how intuitive she was in regards to reading my body's responses. She has different methods she uses to confuse the body's pain response (because no matter how good she is, she is pulling hair out from the root). I've never had an experience quite like it. I have nothing but great things to say about Tamara and her practice at Dulcederm. I am 8 months pregnant and went for a Brazilian Sugaring. This was my second time getting sugared. The first time was in Las Vegas a couple of months ago. The two experiences were like night and day. I had a very positive and comfortable experience at Dulcederm. Her method of application was virtually painless. Of course there is pain when you pull hair from such a sensitive area. The method of applying the sugar is in the opposite direction of hair growth so you experience a pulling of hair before it's even stripped out of the hair follicle. Tamara made sure I didn't feel that tug of hair before it was taken out. She had such a calm and relaxing environment and she focuses on quality rather than quantity. This was by far the best "waxing" experience I've had anywhere. Sugaring in general is far better than using chemical laden wax. Easy to wash off, doesn't rip your skin off, and hair grows back thinner than before. The price was almost unbelievable for the experience but I know Tamara wants her clients to be able to afford her services and come back. Bravo! Definitely going back. read more
