I've never been in a Duluth before but have seen plenty of commercials. Only found it because Cabelas is on the same block. Duluth is known for their workwear which there is plenty to chose from but they also have top quality mens and women's wear. A smaller selection of children's which is primarily tee-shirts. Quality shoe wear too. Some fun displays to look at and the holiday candies sure looked good. Plenty of bear naked underwear to chose from if you've seen all the commercials too. Very clean and easy to navigate. You can tell their clothes are well made and will last awhile. I know a couple people who love this brand and swear by the quality. I bought a pair of their performance pattern boxer briefs and I will say, may be the most comfortable thing I've worn in my life. However, they better be for $25/pair. The gear is not cheap, but I'll always pay for quality. The store is split into men's and women's sections, men on the right, women on the left. The only reason I did not give this store 5 stars is the customer service that I received. No one greets you when you walk in. In addition, I had a question about if they had something in the back. When I tried to get the attention of a lady who was restocking shelves, she didn't look at me, didn't acknowledge my existence. I asked, "Do you all have this product in the back," I was told, "Well, depends on what it is." Maybe an overreaction, but it rubbed me the wrong way. I will buy Duluth products in the future if my current purchase lives up to my expectations. However, I will be ordering online only. I've never been inside a Duluth Trading Company store until this past December. How is that even possible? Well, it is. I promise. I found myself inside this location seeking an apron for my husband for Christmas. I found it online, but ventured into the store so I could hold it and touch it and ultimately decide if I wanted to purchase it as a gift or not. Turns out I was very impressed with the quality and craftmanship, so I chose an olive green apron to wrap and put under our Christmas tree. The vibe of the store is upscale casual, I guess. I was surprised at how many sales associates they had working, especially considering the pandemic-induced labor shortage right now. I walked in on a Saturday to check this place out for the first time and it felt like I had suddenly been transported to a lumberjack convention. No clue how many of them are single, but if the Brawny paper towel guy is your idea of a dream man, you may want to spend some time browsing the racks here. They just so happen to sell really soft, cozy flannel shirts in standard and extended sizes for men, plus a bunch of stuff for women including no-yank tanks and leggings. Their dry on the fly workpants for women have held up to some serious farm work over the past two years since purchased and are still going strong - no seam rips, fraying, or the usual issues I have with clothing I use daily with heavy manual labor during the planting and harvesting season. This is the first retail location in Indiana - next closest is Chicago. Find it right across from Cabela's and Primanti Bros. Note that this store has a sizeable selection for the gals, too! Light and heavyweight flannels, overalls, jeans, leggings - think "going outdoors for a hike/to garden" apparel. There is also a women's lounge in the back if this store isn't your cuppa tea but you're accompanying someone ;) Clean, bright store with great customer service on the floor - but it seems like they need more manpower at the cash register to speed up the checkout line. Since the registers are in the middle of the store, it feels like you're in shoppers' way when you're waiting in line - a traffic jam waiting to happen. read more

The four stars is for customer service. They literally only had one of five things I wanted in stock but when I tell you the sales lady looked everywhere trying to find alternatives to my request. This is a widely supplied location, I'm just Big and tall and female so what I imagined I wanted and what was available were not the same. And I am average in Men's sizing so everything was sold out. I was able to successfully purchase a new belt which I badly needed and lucky me, it was on sale! I think we have a larger women's department in the Louisville location but I never go there because parking is not existent. I have actually been to this location more than the one in my home city. read more

This place is brand spankin new, and I'm so excited to have a store closer to me than Chicago. If you've never checked out their site, despite surely being familiar with the buck nekked dancing man commercials, then do yourself a favor. I've never seen a selection of practical gear I've coveted more than Duluth Trading Company. They've hit that hard-working, no frills market hard, but nothing they sell sacrifices comfort or even style for the toughness or practicality. And the lifetime warranty on most, if not all, of their merchandise is by itself worth the ticket price. They're a little pricier here than some other places, but of the half dozen products I've purchased, my money has never been better spent. I've not gotten as many admiring comments on other parts of my wardrobe either, and I do tend to favor a suit on a regular basis. The hardest part about their store before was not being able to pick up clothing or tools and get a feel for how they'll work for you. It's hard, even discouraging, to buy from a catalogue, so having a standalone building is just what I needed to solidify myself as a lifelong fan of the company. And it's not all just for men. My mom shops here more than I do, and now that the folks are nearing retirement, her mind is often on the next pair of rugged boots or pants to hike or ride a horse in. Duluth lets her still be more than presentable to go to a semi-nice dinner afterwards. So if you're in the market for pants tougher than any you currently own, just some boots for a weekend excursion, or even tenaciously designed dog accessories, Duluth Trading Company is the place to be. read more

It saddens me to write this review, because they were such a good company. Duluth still has their NO BULL guarantee listed, but they no longer honor it. They keep a new guarantee in their drawer for people doing a return. I had a shirt less than a year old with worn fabric. They refused to take it back. They pulled out a sheet with their new guarantee. The manger stated they are not a rental company. The shirt was $80. I expected more from them. I guess I am just alerting you they no longer honor their guarantee. I very seldom return things so maybe that's just the way it always goes. Anyway BUYER BEWARE. Love visiting this store. Always a lot to look at and the staff is great. During this visit we forgot the recent ads we received in the mail. Not to worry they had several on hand at the store. We were looking for a few items in particular. When we couldn't find what we were looking for, two sales people came to the rescue. They were able to find the item we were looking for in the back. Another item they did not have in stock, but we were able to order from the convenient kiosk located in the back of the store. All orders made in store will also receive free shipping. Even though the place was pretty busy for a Saturday morning, they had enough staff available to help. The line to check out didn't take very long either. While the prices here are a little high, you are definitely getting good quality goods that are worth the money. I'm a huge fan of their fleece lined fire house pants. I went camping for the first time recently and the long sleeve T-shirt, 2 sweaters, vest, and socks that I got from Duluth proved to be well worth it! I also loved the experience that the staff provided. They were very helpful and professional. I would definitely recommend Duluth Trading Company! This review specifically involves a night where the Manager's name was Josh. However, I must say his entire crew was just as helpful and friendly as he was. I've never had a bad experience here, so saying he went above and beyond when he certainly didn't need to, is REALLY saying something. Try this experiment. Find something both Cabela's and Duluth carry. Or at least something similar. Go to Cabela's first. IF they have the item in stock, which you WILL be finding alone in the mammoth warehouse of crap, it will be a different price than the ad stated, which management does not care about. Now put the item back (you've been there at least an hour most likely wondering around and shouting after employees who ignore you). Hop, drive, skip or whatever across the road to Duluth Trading Company. During your 15 minute visit you'll find exactly what you need, be greeted but NEVER harassed by the employees who apparently all love their job AND will walk out with a better made and less expensive item then you had at Crapelas. First time coming to this store so I was a little unsure of what to expect. I have gotten some clothing items as gifts, and wanted to come check out the store as it recently opened this past year. This is probably my newest, greatest find. They sell workwear of all varieties, but all I have purchased so far are pants. And I've bought a lot of them. They have a wide number of variations from their basic design of work pants. I bought summer weight, medium weight and heavy weight (fleece lined), 2-3 of each type. It's the Fire Hose and Duluth Flex ones that I like the most, but they also have cargo, carpenter and what they call "ballroom work" pants. They're all tough and well made work pants that are designed for active guys. They have tons of pockets, many of which are hidden. Most of their pants are made to have "flex" areas in the crotch and thighs where the material has some give. They're mostly in dark colors but there are lighter ones also. Their sizes don't always correspond to your jeans size, particularly in the waist, and because they're more substantial than jeans, you probably want them to be a little big rather than snug. It's not always easy to get a store associate to help you find the clothes you're looking for, and often it's easier to just browse, grab a couple things you like and go to the dressing room and start from there. But if you need help, you can get it. The first time I went to the store, the person who helped me was actually their regional manager who was staffing the store that night. He was terrific. So was the young man who helped me last time, as I wanted to order a pair of pants that they didn't have in my size. You can order in store and they ship for free. Each time I've bought stuff there have been specials going on (their Black Friday sale lasted through the following Tuesday and stuff was 30% off, including the pants I had shipped). There are also a wide variety of work shirts (flannels and other more outdoorsy stuff), socks, underwear, the whole bit. There's a pretty big section of clothes for women as well. And there's a section for footwear. Once you buy from them (or somehow otherwise end up on their mailing list) you will basically get advertisement e-mails every day. It's a bit much but it does help to make sure you're aware of sales. I don't buy clothes online, but if you do, getting hooked in this way would make it very convenient. The last thing I'll say is just for the purposes of being honest. I'm a jeans and t-shirt kind of guy. I don't like to dress up. And I don't go many places that would require that. However, I travel and I also go to a lot of sporting events that require spending time outside, and it's nice to have pants with tons of pockets that are warm and high quality and look nicer than jeans. Their pants would go just as well with a polo shirt as they would with an AC/DC t-shirt. If you catch a sale, they're no more expensive than jeans. And while the Indianapolis area location is a little out of the way, it's probably the best store I've shopped at in a long time. read more

I drove 100 miles to get some customer service. The small metal clip failed on my third pair of overalls. The sales rep informed me that they "refined" their warrantee and couldn't help me in any way. She said I should "throw them away". It is basically a 50 part that made a $100 pair over overalls useless. No help what so ever. I will never shop here again. read more

Great store with a variety of cool stuff. They have work pants made of firehose! There are even cool dog camping items and toys. I found a seat cushion made by Purple, an online mattress company that I have been wanting to purchase for my dad.
