I rated 5 star because of the cleanliness of the pier, in terms of the port facility its still being develop it could be a 3 star though you can certainly appreciate how clean the pier compared to others ports in the country.

Hotel has a gate (w/guard) but you can easily walk out and find local laundry services (other than what is offered at the hotel). There's also a small shopping center that is walking distance with a few restaurants and shops. Staff and service were fantastic as everyone is super friendly and they almost seem to go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and are enjoying your stay. The infinity pool is fantastic (for kids and adults)..... nice to also have the beach option but this part of the island is more remote... as the other reviews state, you can find better beaches at other resorts, but here it is more quiet and family oriented. Breakfast Buffet was superb with a rotation of offerings for vegetarians and omnivores alike. Special request items (eggs cooked to order, etc.) are just an ask away.

I opted for a family room at php1100.00 and I was super surprised that the room was HUGE! It had a ref, a queen-sized, and twin-sized bed, and a huge bathroom! I love that the a/c is strong and that the room has a 32-inch wall-mounted TV. The bedsheets smell freshly laundried and the pillows are soft and sufficiently plump. The frontdesk people are polite and they really go out of their way to help you feel right at home. The hotel is also conveniently located near downtown and a short walk away from banks and restaurants. Wifi is strong too!
