This was sprung on us completely out of the blue and we didn't have a lot of resources to just pick a removal service out of a hat. After calling around and getting outrageous quotes, our friend assured us that Edgar would be very reasonable and he was! Now, this isn't a huge well known business like the "Got Junk" guys or Waste Mgmt, it's a small, local and family owned business, but he really does take his job seriously. Again this was an unexpected situation but they came through for us. When I called, the owner Edgar, was really nice as I explained the situation to him. I went over the time we needed the dumpster, the address and that was it. On the actual day, he arrived at the scheduled time, left the dumpster and let us get on with it. The payment process was very easy. We took care of the payment when the dumpster was dropped off and there were no extra "hidden" fees. It was a flat and very very reasonable rate. What we really appreciated was that this company didn't rush us at all! When I previously called around to other places, a lot of them had a cap on the time you were allotted once they made the drop off. Or if you went over that time, you had to pay more etc etc. But, they didn't do that here. He assured us that we could take our time and just call him when we were done. Once we finished, I called Edgar and he assured me he would be by to make the pick up. My sisters and I were blown away by the service. We were in a stressful situation and this company made everything simple. It definitely gave us a much needed break. The company is a local business and they serve Houston and the surrounding areas. Overall, I recommend this company if you're doing home renovations and need a junk removal service.

I call to issue a complaint, and the guy is not helpful and combative. He asks me "did the rock hit the ground", and I say "yes" to which he responds "sounds like you hit a road hazard, have a good day". That may be so but damn, least he could do is inform me he will confront the driver. If I'm throwing rocks out my window it's litter. This company is dangerous and not concerned with other drivers. Make sure you go in a truck with good tires, because it's a bumpy ride on their property. Also to note, the property is big, and the site for mulch and dirt is the first entrance on the right. I had been freaking out about my move from Austin to The Woodlands for weeks, scrambling to find a high rated moving company for a decent price, when I came across J&M. After speaking with their very helpful secretary Meagan who made sure to answer all my questions and address all of my concerns, I decided to book them for the move. Jack and his crew showed up on time and ready to go, and even with my apartment complex's parking lot renovations making things a bit harder for them, they were able to make my move as stress-free as possible!
