This school is extremely discriminatory. I went here with some students who were not catholic,…read morewhose parents chose the school for being private and "safe" yet they force everyone to go to all mass events and take theology all 4 years (required to pass). They call themselves a college prep school yet they don't require students to take their so called college prep classes. The only thing they do to make it a harder challenging school is raising the grading scale. A regular low C is a 70%, but here a 70% is in the D range. The teaching of the catholic faith is so prehistoric, it applies to how religion was in the 1900's. They teach that the only purpose of sex is to have children, and if you are not intending to have children, then you don't get married or have sex. There is also NO sex Ed at all, they make you take "health class" but all it's about if them teaching you about how drugs/alcohol is bad and how it ruins your body. No explanation of sex or reproductive systems whatsoever. They literally keep it hush hush and avoid it at all costs. They are super sexist towards women by writing you up for dress code violations if your shoulders or ankles are showing. Our bodies do not hold us back or distract us from learning!!!!! I was written up on a dress down day because I didn't wear my class color, I wore orange instead of blue and the Dean told me kids like me are the reason we don't get many dress down days because we can't follow simple rules. They also force boys to shave their faces and if they don't they will be written up, handed a razor and shaving cream and told to go to the bathroom and shave. The school lacks so many class options compared to public school, limiting students creative outlets. They only allow you to take drivers Ed thru the school if you have a B average or above. You aren't allowed to change anything about your appearance such as hair color, piercings for guys and girls, or tattoos, no form of self expression. They favor parents and students of families who have money and give some to the school. Everything is so archaic at this school and is not worth the money. Going here made me fall out of my religion after seeing how a community of "religious" teachers and staff treated their students with no care or consideration for them as people. The counselors are a joke, they barely cover anything regarding classes or college and just assume you know what you're doing. When I went here they had new counselors every year and each were super lazy and uninterested in doing their jobs. Uniforms are unreasonably priced, tuition is extra compared to public school and is not worth it at all. You barely have freedom here or a normal high school experience.

Initially I wasn't sure what the best options for my children were heading into preschool, but I…read moreknew that the teacher to student ratio was a key indicator giving children the possibility of individual development and excelled learning. It was important for me to do the research all the schools and even talk to parents that had children in the school before I could make a good choice. There are a number of preschool options in this area, including public, Christian, and places like KinderCare. None of these options provided optimal class sizes, and through my investigation I came to see that the methods developed by Dr. Maria Montessori were critical to the development young children. I was thrilled to find Children's House Montessori School where my children received specialized made-for-them scholastic development. While my children are both still very young, other parents with children that have gone through Children's House Montessori School explain that children leave with above average skills and the confidence to use them. Very grateful for the school, program, and exceptional teachers that love their work and their students.
