I accompanied a friend to this store as she was looking for a couple of particular items. The service was lacking a bit. After waiting several minutes for someone to help us, we decided to leave. But as we made our way out of the store, my friend saw something else she was interested in. She went to the counter to ask an associate about the return policy. A kind young man named Brandon helped us. He seemed to be newer as he needed the managers assistance with the task of providing a gift receipt. I didn't get the managers name but she wasn't friendly. She didn't seem to be having a good day. When Brandon heard me tell my friend that I was ready to head home due to back pain, he apologized to me. Of course, I wasn't upset that he had to get help and it took a bit longer to leave the store. But, he was incredibly sensitive and thoughtful to even think to apologize in response to my comment to my friend. read more

We came to get a Christmas gift, a Carhartt sweatshirt. We had a lot of confusion about specific items that were on sale, and some that weren't. Greg, the manager at the time, was very kind, and pointed out which items were on sale, and which ones weren't. He was incredibly patient, and helpful. We had a sweatshirt that for whatever reason would not ring up as on sale, even though it was supposed to be. Greg came over to help us again, and took time to carefully look up the item, apply the discount, and help us. He really went the extra mile, and we appreciated it greatly! read more

Wow. What an experience. With the cold winter months upon us I was in dire need of a toboggan. Carhartt is my preferred brand. Went to my favorite store, Tractor Supply, and unfortunately had no luck. Then I found Dunham. Wow once again. It reminded me of Dick's. Not only did I get one toboggan but I got two! I'm sure you all have been extremely busy but I tried phoning the Cleveland TN location & held for 12 minutes before hanging up. Before that, I tried phoning the Athens TN location twice & each time, after asking about guns, was abruptly hung up on. Could be a great place but you get better help at Walmart. No one working in the store and when you ask the only person you can find the look of Discuss that comes across her face because she has to do something just topped our experience. This place is a dump. It's filth and just a mess. Golf section was in extreme disarray and it's no surprise. There wasn't an employee in sight and I was back there for 15+ minutes. In fact, every time I have been in the golf section I can't find help if I needed it. This is the only sporting goods store in Cleveland, it looks like they could keep it up better. Chattanooga isn't that far, and it's where I will go to purchase anything sporting-wise, Which is very often. read more
