As far as Bass Pro Shops go, this one ain't bad. It's a lot bigger than it appears from the outside, with large selections of pretty much any gear you'll need. I was a little disappointed by the small inventory of knives and multitools. Bass Pro prices range from bargains to ultra-premium products, so look online before you shop. Probably the best selection of hats on this side of the Mississippi. Taking a star off because the sales reps were RELENTLESS. They bothered my friend and I the entire time we were in the store. Neither of us were interested in buying the credit card and that sentiment has not changed since our visit. read more

We came to bass pro for Santa pics this year and it was decked out in Christmas decor! It's hard not to love a store with a monstrous fish tank but it's extra special this time of year. My mom made an appointment for us to get our photos taken and it was super easy. We got priority in the line and it was a very smooth process. The reason only three stars is that our pictures turned out blurry from the photographer. I was disappointed but with three kids and a line forming taking them again wasn't an option for us. Oh well! We took matters into our own hands and took a mini photo shoot in front of their gorgeous foyer tree and it worked perfectly for our Christmas cards. Highly recommend this store and its selection just not the Santa pics. read more

Cool Atmosphere, Lots To See, High Prices Bass pro shops wherever you go did pretty much the same. Tons of stuffed animals, a fish tank and lots to see. You can look at boats and ATVs and then grab a fishing pole and some new socks. This bass pro shops is smaller than the Mesa Arizona store I used to live closer to. They have some fair deals on some things, but man do they price gouge in Ammo here! I get it, for whatever reason the industry has an ammo shortage but double priced Ammo means I don't buy here now. Sometimes the gun prices are ok but for some they are a good deal higher as well. I'll give them this, the Red Head Heavyweight Hiking socks are the best I've ever had.... read more

Hard to believe that it's been open for a year, and only one review. Oh well, it's second review gets an excellent review from me. Great convenient location I might add which is right off I 75 at exit number 1 going into Tennessee. I found great customer service every time I visited this Sporting goods store during my 2 week visit to the area. I spent money each and every time. All associates were nice, helpful and seemed to like working here. One cashier always smiled as I checked out. She smiled and stated "I like working here and enjoy my job. She says she only works part time but is hoping to go full time some day. I recommend paying attention to the special sales they have here. You can pick up an advertisement at the front of store as you enter or look at the advertised prices on signs as you walk through the store on specific sale items they have for that week. You can buy just about anything from a boat to an ATV here or anything from cookie dough to a gun here. The most popular section is their guns and AMMO. They also put their guns on sale sometimes. All AMMO is in stock including 22's. Another popular section is their fishing section which is large. They have so many fishing rods in here that it's hard to find just one that you want to buy. In summary, you can easily find help in this store as I had several workers come up to me asking if I needed anything. read more

Had a great experience today at Bass Pro Shop. My son decided he wanted to get into archery and asked for gear for Christmas. Stopped in to look and Kevin from the archery dept could probably tell I was overwhelmed with all the options/choices. He asked and answered a bunch of questions to get a better idea what would be a good fit - made some recommendations and we ended up getting set up with all the gear and accessories we needed - he spent a good amount of time fitting/setting up my son's new bow for him and let him send a bunch of arrows down the range- I left for happy with my purchase. read more

So naturally, with that I just go to pick up the package, and once again rude service at the front desk. Please read this if you are a patriot. I just went into bass pro in East Ridge of which I frequently visit and shop. I purchased $500.00 back in the firearms department and on my way out I noticed that they were selling Winchester 5.56 ammunition. I was told that there was a 6 box limit of which I was fine. Here it comes.. when I arrived at the register I set the six boxes on the counter and informed them I had already paid for the small safe. I was then informed that I could only purchase 5 boxes unless I applied and used a BassPro credit card. Think about that! I brought my hard earned dollars into the store and spent it. And they are trying to force me to apply or otherwise use their credit card to obtain an additional box of ammunition. Never again bass pro. I'll spend my money at sportsman's warehouse and local shops. Even if I have to pay more. You should be ashamed. God Bless America. I will also be looking for another place to service my Mercury motor. I want to express to everyone, the people are nice and I certainly have zero complaints about my shopping experience other than this policy on the ammunition. read more

Absolutely beautiful and sprawling store. They have everything you need to enjoy the outdoors. This includes everything from socks to Pontoon boats. The prices are ALMOST fair, but they do have special promotions if you research. The location is out of the way and is next to very large Camp Jordan. There is a plethora of parking and multiple entrances. If you go, set aside time to really look through their inventory. read more

It was my first time visiting a BP. We found more than we needed, spent more than we planned to, but we enjoyed our visit there. The staff were friendly and helpful, prices weren't too bad, and they had quality items. The place is clean, and is pretty cool looking. We'll definitely be going back there soon. read more

Well, let me say that I was very disturbed about going there when I've been there plenty of times. I visited there on October 10, 2020 to find that since the Cabela's employees are now there, the place doesn't seem the same. It's like they are trying to takeover, instead of converting to the Bass Pro ways. I even overheard an employee with the name Darlene on her name tag talk down and negative about Bass Pro. Now, I've been in retail since I was 16, and I'm now 49 years old. And, I know that is very unprofessional to downgrade the company your working for. Let me say, that an attitude like that will drive customers away and make sales go down. Plus too, Johnny Morris would not like that at all, to have former Cabela's employees talking down about the company their working for. I just don't know what type of business you're running anymore. It doesn't seem to have the same feeling that it used to before all the Cabela's people started showing up there. Again, there was a gray haired gentleman with an Auburn t-shirt on that didn't want to help us with an item, or show us the item. We asked for an item, and he said Bass Pro didn't carry it. We clearly saw the item in the case, but again, he just didn't seem to want to help. Could he, be another one of the Cabela's former employee that is bringing down Bass Pro????? Things like this just makes me want to take my business elsewhere, like maybe to Sportsman Warehouse......... Maybe, y'all might want to reconsider some of the Cabela's employees that you have hired on at Bass Pro. Now, I can say that, there was this one guy named Rick, who works in Fishing, and he might have been the only nice one from Cabela's that is an asset to Bass Pro. Other than that, I'm disappointed with the way Bass Pro has turned out since the whole merger. read more

Wow! When you walk inside the giant front doors, you almost have to sit down a minute in the plush leather couches by the fireplace in the front lobby area just to take it all in. This place is fantastically immense. Like fairy tale huge. Pace yourselves. They have sections for hunting, bow hunting, fishing, camping, men's and women's apparel, footwear, fly shop, pistols and rifles. And they have all kinds of boats. Pontoons, bass boats, Jon boats, canoes... I can spend all weekend in this place and not see everything in the place. They have tons of options for outdoor clothing. Wa socks jackets hats. List goes on. The place was very clean and the employees were friendly and helpful. I was asked a half dozen times if I need help and it felt genuine. They have dozens of brands to choose from. Of course it seems similar to the Cabela's from down the way. There is a huge freshwater aquarium in the back of the store that displays many local fish with a fish "key". I couldn't help but think about throwing an arrow through that buffalo carp. But that wouldn't be sporting. Overall, great experience. I will be back to blow a paycheck. read more
