Not even a hello or acknowledgment that I entered their store. Anyway, enough about the other store... I received what I was looking for from Fleet Feet. They let me jog outside to test out the shoes. They spent like 45 minutes with -measuring my feet and giving me suggestions. I asked for the most inexpensive shoes that would provide great support for my short distance running (currently up to a mile). Davis enthusiastically brought out 6 different pair. He didn't have the "man-I've-really gotta-sell-so-I-can-make-good-commission" face either. It seemed like he genuinely wanted to help me. I ended up buying socks along with my new Hoka running shoes. Great customer service! I'll be back for my next pair.

I was told about Becky's Discount Shoes and was honestly kind of skeptical. It wasn't until I…read morewalked inside and saw just how expansive it was that I became a believer in Becky's. There are tens of thousands of pairs of shoes here in every conceivable style, color, and size. I was mostly looking at dress shoes and the selection was almost daunting. Becky's breaks all the shoes down by size and then by color, making it easy to find what you're looking for. I asked a woman who worked there and she told me that the shoes come from closed out department stores, bankrupt shoe retailers, and are discontinued models from the factory. For the most part, the shoes look near brand new, with some being fresh out of the box. Some pairs have a bit more wear to them but are still in perfectly fine condition. The prices are very reasonable too, for instance a brand new pair of dress shoes were around $30-$50. I spent at least an hour inside and didn't even make a dent in the their total selection. If you need a new set of shoes, don't discount Becky's Discount.

The shop is small by department store standards, so they don't have everything in stock at all times, but they are more than happy to order something for you. I really love their custom shirt service; instead of being limited by what's on the shelf, why not pick the fabric from a HUGE selection of colors, patterns, and textures, then pick all the design features you want and have it tailor made to fit you. The options are nearly limitless! I have 4 of their custom shirts now, and while they were a fair bit more expensive than off the rack, I also chose super premium fabrics that look really great and are worth every penny. They also do custom made suits, but I haven't tried those since I've never needed a new suit and them not have anything I liked. They also have lots of accessories for your suit or tux from ties and cuff links to socks and shoes! You could walk in naked (although I don't recommend it) and walk out looking like a million bucks! They also have a corner of the shop with casual clothes too, but I haven't spent much time over there.
