This is such an unusual review for me. I can usually find something redeeming about any place we…read morevisit and I can't find one with OH Donut. And I mean that says a lot cause I'm a fat kid and they are a cake donut shop so like it should have been easy to find something tasty. But alas there just wasn't. For starters when you walk in the donuts are kind of secondary to all the household things they carry at Spruce locates in the same shop. So instead of the aroma of sugary goodness you're getting hit with candles and other household scents. We arrived about 2:30 and sadly they close at 3 so most of their selection for day was gone but honestly there just was not a whole lot of flavors leFt that we would have chosen anyway. We got a half dozen. 3 red velvet, a churro, a choclate bacon and a brown butter blueberry. The half dozen was $9.95. So the donuts themselves are cake donuts so they are dense. So I started with the brown butter blueberry. It had a white thick icing on top of a blueberry donut and topped with a blueberry jelly type mixture. Sadly I could not taste anything except brown sugar. And it was greasy. So I did not finish it. Tried the red velvet and was sad because it was just a cake donut with the same thick I icing that really just tasted like it had been made from milk and powdered sugar. On top of that was a red cake crumble. I ate about three bites and trashed it. And you MUST realize I am not the type to just trash something but it was that lackluster. My daughter said her chocolate bacon was ok but the donut itself was dry. We might try them one more time if we are over there when they open but I dunno. Will have to see

Needless to say I had to get some donuts and they were excellent as well! I also got a coffee which was made fresh while I waited and the girl who waited on me was very polite! I most definitely will be going back to this goldmine!

I can understand how this would be a locals favorite, I know I will come back to perhaps enjoy the U Pick or the store again, not run. The store itself was for me a combination of an old style farm , with a mix of everything else, from deli, reasonable prices, apples, cider, flavored cider, produce, snacks, candy, hard to find items. I loved the apple selection, and the samples, just the fact alone you can buy apples from a farm, in May, and apple cider ; made me feel like an adult in her hey day of the fall season.. Ever crisp was my favorite apple, and I loved that they had their brand of flavored ciders. Unfortunately , I forgot to take picture of all my purchases, and specialty items. Even though I'm not a donut person, heard they are known for their Blueberry ones.... I adore biscottis, and there section near bakery were off the charts with wow and design factor. Something to do for everyone here, from u pick during peak season, events, tulips. Will be back when in town again. Service was remarkable and overall amazing, fantastic experience.

We also ordered a cheeseburger as we heard they were absolutely incredible. The wrap was filled with fresh vegetables it was yummy. The cheeseburger comes with fresh hot thin French fries that were so yummy. The burger comes with pickles and mustard and ketchup you can ask for them not to put it on. It was perfectly cooked and the flavor was absolutely on point. The Amish market also has a donut shop that is wonderful. Each donut is 2.00 and they are made all day long. Open Thursday thru Saturday. There are cheese and cold cut vendors. Furniture and custom leather belts and hats. They have a place you can purchase dips for fruit and veggies and they make up beautiful trays daily. Homemade stuffed pretzels with everuthing from breakfast items inside them to just cheese. Fresh cup up fruit and veggies. Every kind of prepped salad you CAN think of. Veggies who veggies sliced. Fruit whole fruit sliced. The best place to find goodies for the weekend. Fresh meats to buy and take home and cook. Ready to eat prepped foods to eat there or take home. A shop for spices and wonderful things to use in the kitchen. This place also has a section where you can buy homemade fresh baked cookies cakes pies, breads. So much here to look at. Candy too. We went back to eat and again I had the Egg veggie wrap. It was fabulous. My friend had the breakfast burger. Crazy good. Burger cooked perfectly on a bun with cheese, sausage gravy, and an egg cooked any way you want she chose scrambled and some sliced home fries. Crazy Combo with a fabulous taste.

I had a fresh out off of the oven pepperoni Stromboli: magical. I ordered two dozen individual pies from the bakery for Thanksgiving and they were the star of the show. 10 out of 10 would recommend coming here. I halfway joked to my girlfriend that if this was in my neighborhood or if I lived next to one of these that I would be here every weekend, buying fresh eggs, bacon, and coffee. 10/10
