So nice to have local produce available to purchase. White House is one of the few remaining orchards in Mahoning County. There used to be over 200. Their homemade peach pie was outstanding. I tried to buy another one today but they were out. So I settled for the peach fritter bread. Do not buy. MAYBE, there was a 1/4 cup of fresh peach in the entire thing. Very disappointing. Also, the famous blueberry donuts are more sweet than fruity, just saying. One time was enough for me. Am looking forward to trying the homegrown plums and cantaloupe I bought today. This is a destination farm market! People drive from far away to come here for the apples, cider and donuts. (Especially their famous Blueberry donuts!) They also have a market full of other tasty items to take home. In the summer, you can pick your own strawberries. Lots of fun. The staff is very nice here. read more

Stopped in the market, after running the 5K , the first Saturday of the month May 3, 2025. Was in town visiting adopted family, in Brookfield OH. I can understand how this would be a locals favorite, I know I will come back to perhaps enjoy the U Pick or the store again, not run. The store itself was for me a combination of an old style farm , with a mix of everything else, from deli, reasonable prices, apples, cider, flavored cider, produce, snacks, candy, hard to find items. I loved the apple selection, and the samples, just the fact alone you can buy apples from a farm, in May, and apple cider ; made me feel like an adult in her hey day of the fall season.. Ever crisp was my favorite apple, and I loved that they had their brand of flavored ciders. Unfortunately , I forgot to take picture of all my purchases, and specialty items. Even though I'm not a donut person, heard they are known for their Blueberry ones.... I adore biscottis, and there section near bakery were off the charts with wow and design factor. Something to do for everyone here, from u pick during peak season, events, tulips. Will be back when in town again. Service was remarkable and overall amazing, fantastic experience. read more

it's my first fall (I'm from California) so I've been trying to visit as many farms during the fall season. White House is a short bit of a way from Cleveland, but worth the visit, especially for families. The drive is sooo pretty during this season. I can confirm that their blueberry donuts are in fact freaking delicious. I'm not a huge sweets person but I could probably devour multiple at once. We also tried their maple donut and an apple slushie - nothing short of incredible. But aside from those, we also picked up a few items from the market that are also worth the rave! We really liked their frozen breakfast sausages and pretzel buns!! so much to do here and I'm definitely starting to love fall. read more

Definitely a neat spot south of Youngstown. If you've ever been to Jungle Jim's or Grandpa's Cheese Barn, this is somewhere in between the two. They boast a wonderful selection of produce, with seasonal tastings of featured items. We were there a little before most of the seasonal fruits are being churned out full steam, but they still had a wide selection of apples to sample including Gala, Cameo, and Evercrisp. Donuts seemed to be a big ticket item. Lemon Blueberry was the special in April and it was great, but the Maple Buttermilk Pancake stole the show. Everybody loved that one. We also tried The Cream Round Filled And Sour Cream with Cream Cheese. All of them were great! While in the market we picked up a Fruits of the Forest pie, which was excellent and some snacks including Cajun Hot Sesame Sticks (no that hot), some Couscous, and a couple fruit hand pies (that weren't quite as good as the full size stuff). The staff were all quite friendly and there is a nice little pond outside to sit by when the weather is cooperating. Would love to go again - perhaps in the summer when it seems like they have the most ripe options. read more

I also got a gallon of fresh apple cider for $7.50 which I thought was a good price. Many people were here today for fall activities outside the store, so be prepared to park in an adjacent field and walk to the store. Staff is friendly and prices are affordable. Absolutely love White House. They have everything and I do mean everything: pies and fresh donuts. They have the absolute best cider i have ever tasted. The fresh produce and jelly/jam selection is phenomenal. We always get at least 8 jars when we go. You must try the "traffic jam" it's our favorite. My sister has been bragging on this place since she moved up to Youngstown a few years ago and I was excited to finally go! It's busy, but definitely worth it. I went when I was leaving her house so I could pick up some produce and not overly fill her fridge. They have some really nice looking produce, and the baked goods are amazing! I also picked up some deli salads from a local mediterranean place and spice mixes and honey for later. There is a little coffee cart outside, and I grabbed a strawberry lemonade/ green tea for the road. I didn't notice until I was waiting for the drink that they had boba, which would have been fun in there, but my drink was really refreshing on the drive home. The donuts are awesome! I got the best selling blueberry, which was very good, but the surprise winner was sour cream with sour cream frosting (my aunt's recommendation). It was moist with a really creamy frosting. This place is amazing! They have everything that you can think of and more. They have their own in house brands as well as a few Amish brands mixed in. Their apple selection was endless and they had little buckets filled with samples to try before you buy. There is a bakery that also has a very wide variety to choose from along with a homemade fudge and doughnut section. I was very happy to find a good selection of fry pies! They have their own in house spices, sauces, jams, jellies, dressings etc. I really could go on and on about their selection! Everything that I purchased was great quality, tasted phenomenal, and was well priced. The employees were friendly and helpful which was also nice. They offer you bags or boxes at the checkout. Who goes to a FRUIT farm and leaves with DONUTS? Wellll, just about everyone, from what I can tell. I have been hearing about these donuts, so it was about time we tried them. My toddler loved them. I thought they were a little too sugary (but to be fair, I have not been eating a lot of carbs nor sugar, so it is not unusual for things to seem overly sweet to me.) Also- there is a donut nazi who is employed here. The "take a number" system seemed to be broken, so she handed me a little tag with a number, but not after ignoring me, turning around, helping someone else, and then walking backwards (WHY lady?) and almost tripping over my son in his stroller, and then seeming annoyed that we wanted to get donuts. Ummm, okay.....why else are we standing here among the masses at the donut counter? It's okay, but honestly, it reminded me of the way people behave when I observe them boarding a plane; they check their brains with their luggage....everything is done the exact opposite way that you would expect to be efficient. I digress.... The ambiance is quite nice. There is a peaceful lake and well-maintained flor and fauna. It seemed pretty busy to me, and I know this doesn't even scratch the surface of how busy and crowded it will be come autumn. I will say, the little trailer that sells coffee is not very good. The coffee was undrinkable. I am glad I just got a small, because I had to throw it out. And it feels like a major sin to throw away coffee, but I simply couldn't finish it. I wonder if there was something in the water that shouldn't have been in there? Not a deal-breaker, but I if and when I go back, I won't be getting coffee. That's all. Cute place for a fall adventure ! It was rainy for our trip, mostly perused the gift shop and market. Gift shop has so many beautiful, unique gifts, festive Halloween decor, and Christmas too ! We had pre-ordered donuts . My husband works in the Boardman area and has had their donuts for years has always raved about the blueberry. We ordered a dozen including four of the blueberry glazed. The donuts were heavenly also had a few seasonal donuts like a pumpkin icing and pumpkin spice. Will be adding this to the fall excursion itinerary from here on out. read more

Went on a weekend morning - sooooo crowded. Both staff and visitors seemed a bit stressed. Line for donuts took up the whole huge room. Free sample apples were nice, but no one could tell me whether they'd been washed - and they reeked of chemicals and one of manure, so I guessed not... There was live music but the young guy was really loud and bad. . No social distancing on the wagon rides, so I skipped it. The shop was just full of tourist trap junk, except for these fun Christmas decorations made of old doors. (But they were around $100!) Beautiful flowers - dahlias and zinnias. Family and town favorite! Their homemade donuts are absolutely AMAZING and put any donut shop to shame--most notably known for their blueberry. Their deli contains a great selection of meats and cheeses, and the staff are quite speedy. Our family greatly appreciates their Call-in/Order Ahead for the deli instead of waiting in the long lines (secondary to their popularity, of course). Produce is seasonal and have a wide selection. I love how they mark the produce if it is "their own" or not--that way we know we are truly supporting the local business! Their apples (and cider) are my favorites! On occasion, we will buy their frozen meats (chicken breast, breaded chicken breast, hoggie meat) that is nice for a quick meal. On the expensive side, but worth it rather than feeding money to the "big chicken." They are known for their cake doughnuts, especially their blueberry cake doughnuts. Jams, applesauce,pickles, and many other things are handmade by White House Farms. I can affirm that the blueberry cake doughnuts are delicious. Any baked goods or items bought can be enjoyed at a picnic table by a pond on the premises. I went the other day and they had a sunflower picking experience, where I was able to go to the sunflower field on site and pick my own flowers. Isaly's chipped ham for 3.99 a pound?!?! An apple variety that's better than honeycrisp, called Evercrisp?!?! Fluffy Submarine sandwich rolls?!?!? 12 different kinds of mustard??!?! I have to admit that I came here in the fall for the fall festival, and it was a bit overwhelming to me, too crowded. But this return trip in late February has me sold. This farm sits out in rural Canfield OH and is pretty well known in the area. They have a unique apple that is a hybrid of a Honey crisp and Fuji. They sell a variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, preserves, specialty hummus and cheeses. So you walk in and all their produce is in the front and in the back left they have an Amish deli selling meats and cheeses sliced. They have such a variety of really local cool items. Soy Candles, preserves, pickled jars. In the right side of the store they make donuts and bread and have a large assortment of chocolates and candies. I had a great time exploring their farm store and felt their prices were reasonable. I would go back again when I'm in the area! read more

Appreciate how they separate the slices of cheese with parchment paper so it doesn't mold into a big slab in the fridge.
