As far as veggies go they had some peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, all looked good. We didn't buy much but a pumpkin. To be honest prices were a bit high. Not horrible. Just a bit high like $1 a pepper. Not a pound but a pepper. About 5# of tomatoes were $9. That's not too bad but tomatoes were in sis so shape. Pumpkins ranged in price. Pure white pumpkins were $7 kinda small for the price. Large pumpkins different prices up to $22. That's a lot. This is the first time I'm here so maybe there are better prices in the summer. I realize it takes some cost to run a market. But with today's prices you watch what you spend on.ill try them again.

Furniture and custom leather belts and hats. They have a place you can purchase dips for fruit and veggies and they make up beautiful trays daily. Homemade stuffed pretzels with everuthing from breakfast items inside them to just cheese. Fresh cup up fruit and veggies. Every kind of prepped salad you CAN think of. Veggies who veggies sliced. Fruit whole fruit sliced. The best place to find goodies for the weekend. Fresh meats to buy and take home and cook. Ready to eat prepped foods to eat there or take home. A shop for spices and wonderful things to use in the kitchen. This place also has a section where you can buy homemade fresh baked cookies cakes pies, breads. So much here to look at. Candy too. We went back to eat and again I had the Egg veggie wrap. It was fabulous. My friend had the breakfast burger. Crazy good. There are so many farmers in the area, that I find it hard to believe that this is as small as it is. I put the price at 2 $'s because the prices range from really cheap to super expensive. The super expensive being the organic produce. For example, last year I bought organic Kale at $4 a bunch. You can get that at Wal-Mart or Giant Eagle for WAY LESS. All the good are great, it just depends on what you're looking for. As far as I know, everything is cash only, but you would have to check with specific vendors. I tried to buy another one today but they were out. So I settled for the peach fritter bread. Do not buy. MAYBE, there was a 1/4 cup of fresh peach in the entire thing. Very disappointing. Also, the famous blueberry donuts are more sweet than fruity, just saying. One time was enough for me. Am looking forward to trying the homegrown plums and cantaloupe I bought today. It was a highlight of the trip! The market is right downtown in a gorgeous old building, make sure to look at the ceilings. There are public parking areas all around outside, but it does get busy. There are also side buildings and outdoor stalls nearby, so be sure to check them out. Inside is rows upon rows of amazing local vendors with food to enjoy there, or many items to buy and take home. Meat counters, fresh vegetables and fruit, sauces, Middle Eastern food, Greek, Mexican, Gyros, sandwiches, baked goods, salads and so much more are all over. Even stalls that repeat the same types of items have their own unique spin and history. It's busy, with people everywhere looking and enjoying their purchases. Prices are reasonable, especially how fresh and local everything is. I bought a bunch of small things to eat while we walked, together we bought shishkabobs and steak to enjoy at home the following day. It's a great place to shop local!

Food and architecture are two areas where it deserves far more recognition, and this market showcases both beautifully. 2. I'm coming back. 3. There is absolutely zero chance I stay in a hotel next time. I need a place with a kitchen. When I return, I fully intend to walk through this market, buy from no fewer than 10 stalls, and somehow end up preparing enough food for 25 people--even if it's only my family of four. The specialties here are endless. The uncooked pierogies nearly broke my heart because I had no way to take them home and cook them myself. Sausage lovers will be in heaven, and beyond that, you'll find incredible produce, fresh fish, quality proteins, and a wonderful representation of the many cultures that make Cleveland what it is. All of this is housed inside a historic building with stunning architecture that makes the experience even better. Pro tip: Climb the stairs to the second floor for an incredible bird's-eye view of the entire market. It's the perfect way to appreciate just how special this Cleveland landmark really is.

Yesterday we saw at a farmer market 12 for $7. So a bit more. They have a complete industry going in summer and fall. Lots of pumpkins. Prices for a good size pumpkin is around $16. Kinda high. Good size though. They have a corn maze and such. Corn maze is not free. They have hot dogs, ice cream and corn on the cob to eat. They have glider picnic tables arranged around. It's very family friendly. But after 30 mins you can spend $60 easy. They sell bread and bakery from local places. Loaf of fresh bread is around $7. Inside they have a ton of different fruits and veggies as well as jams and Amish treats. Fruits and veggies can be pricey. We got some lettuce, 3 tomatoes, 2 potatoes, green beans, 1 onion, bread, cost us $41. We could have gotten more but that was enough to spend. Bottom line. Good quality. Good selection. But you're going to pay for it. We like Szalays and will go back. Just be aware of what you can afford.
