I know it seems lame to review this everyday staple BUT this morning I ran out on break of course :) and grabbed the peppermint mocha hot coffee and the NEW stuffed bagel bites. Dunkin' coffee is always on point and reasonably priced unlike the green guys. Those bagel bites are absolutely genius. The perfect amount of cream cheese and moisture. I stop at the Dunkin on 79th and Western almost every day, morning noon and evenings and they never have donuts. Yesterday was the first time I ordered a frozen coffee and there machine was down. I ordered through the app and went to pick up. The l is dy said I can give u an ice coffee or credit your money back which I requested to do. I have yet to see the refund, you can't call no one answers and last time I spoke with the owner about them not having donuts she said we only have them.in the morning which is not true. We live 4 blocks away- at night we sometimes want a nice cup of coffee and a donut to go with-- they never have the donuts we like, and tonight they had NO DONUTS AT ALLLL! Sayeth whaaaa?! Bad customer service!!! I am standing in the lobby for 5 minutes (no line no wait) before someone finally acknowledges me- not the young man at the cash register, but instead a manager from the back who only came up to ask (in a less than pleasant way)- "what are you waiting for" Eek!!!! No "How are you doing-how can I help you." I had been waiting for my family who went through the drive through. I am watching the young lady in the window holding a conversation with a patron while my family waits behind him in the drive through lane. I had come inside the store because I had walked from a nearby store while my husband decided to get a "quick" bite for the kids. I didn't realize that it was inappropriate to wait in the lobby to avoid waiting in the cold, but I might not have waited as long if the drive through had been a little quicker. Not pleased with this location and since the nearest DD is less than 2 miles away the owner should consider teaching a little customer service, because customers do have the option to take their business to another DD. read more

I will be making a formal complaint with Dunkin Donuts Headquarters following this email. This morning I was rudely disrespected by a Drive thru associate and the the window associate. When making my order I asked for a large Ice coffee with 5 creams and 12 sugars with a shot of french vanilla and two hash browns. He then says over the intercom "Damn, that's gone be too sweet" I said it exactly how I want it, thank you! He then repeats my order and says: "That's a large ice coffee with 5 creams and diabetes, pull up to the window." Not to mention he left off the hash browns so he could be sarcastic. I was totally offended and disrespected. I had my young daughter in the car and she was disturbed by his rude and unprofessional actions. Once I got to the window after 10 minutes of waiting as usual, The window associate would not get the manager and he lied and said the intercom is not working properly so that's not what he said. He lied for that person and dismissed my complaint as if it was nothing. My coffee order was not for me but for a homeless couple that takes their coffee sweet to last them throughout the day. Nevertheless, it shouldn't matter who it's for, your job is to give it to me the way I asked for it without your opinions. Every time I go to this store the hash browns a burned and the service is slow. I asked for a croissant without the bacon one time and a lady told me I had to get the sandwich the way it is advertised....which is not true. If no one contacts me soon, expect a protest! read more

My post is about a Year late but after reading all the others, I now know it wasn't just ME feeling some type of way. INCOMPETENT & lacks customer service skills, including the manager. Ordered a Latte, took them 10-15 freakin' mins to make it then its a Iced Latte. I say "Im sorry, I thought I said HOT?" The GIRL looks at me like she wanted to slap the taste out my mouth & nastily says "No u didn't! ! U said Iced!!" It took ALL I had not to show my ass but long story short instead of just making me what I want, we go back n forth til mngr comes out, looks at receipt & says "This says U ordered Iced Latte" I tell him I dont care WHAT IT SAYS, I DON'T WANT ICED, I WANT HOT!! BETTER YET JUST GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!! They quickly make me,a Hot but when I got in my car, either I was just too pissed off or it truly tasted like a cigar had been dumped in it, I just threw it out!!! Haven't been back since & NEVER will!!! Im sure if they were in a "mainstream" neighborhood, the service would be 10xs bettter!!! WORST DD EVER!!! read more

Almost never have the donuts you want and when they do they are usually hard and stale. Not to mention the service is absolutely terrible. This place is walking distance from my house but I usually end up walking back home, getting into my car and driving to the DD on 97th. and Western. read more

I generally stop by this DD because it is in route to my job. I have an hour drive to get to work with traffic and I work a swing-shift. Therefore, I leave work late on Thursday 11 pm to bounce back to work at 7 am. Considering I have an hour drive each way in the morning I am in need of coffee and breakfast. I stopped today thinking I will get my coffee and breakfast sandwiches through the drive-thur the cashier a young boy collected my money and pass off my coffee and bag of what I thought was food. First, problem he was rushing me and said let's get moving cars behind you as I tried to put away my debit card. I just put the bag on the seat and got moving. I thought this was rude and meant to check my bag. I was anger about the manager shouting over the cashier shoulder for me to get moving. Who does he think he is to talk to a customer like that I drove on to work. I asked for my equal on the side because they put gobs in the cup if you allow them to do it. I peeped in my bag to get the equal it was none there. I was so furious I drove on. 20 blocks away I calmed down some and reached into the bag to eat one of my breakfast wraps to my surprise nothing there but napkin and donut. Where's my freakin wraps I paid for and there was none. I am now more than a 1/2 hour away and in rush hour traffic surely wasn't going back. No breakfast today. This is pitiful that they treat paying customers like that. I realize darn he didn't even give me a receipt. I had to continue on to work because I would risk the chance of being late. It's Friday and I do not work on weekends and I certainly don't want no breakfast wrap once I get out of work. I am mad that I will have to drive back there to collect my refund. I am writing this review because I think people should know about the type of business they are running. I have been through this drive-thur before and one thing is constant they always forgetting to give you what you pay for. I am going back this time to get my money. I have just let it go other times but now I have decided they have lost my business. The management needs to get it together and if you run a drive-thur you need to make sure the staff are giving customers what they need and have paid for. However, I doubt that since the manager was the one shouting out the window for me to move on. Really! I was pissed at that and to discover I didn't even get what I paid for is unacceptable. I refused to allow a business to treat me any kind of way and coming here to write a review and reading others I am finding out that I am not the only one who have had bad service from this DD=Don't go there! I hate I had to give this one star they need no stars. This Dunkin Donuts is horrible. I ordered a French Vanilla Swirl (FVS) I even asked for an extra pump and this coffee is horrible. This is why I travel future out my way for better service. A FVS doesn't need cream & sugar because it has cream and it's sweet already... WTH...Yes I'm mad. They never have anything and they are always out of glazed donuts after 10:30am. They always complaining about customers being upset with them. Do your Job. The Team they have sucks. They need to be trained again for better serviceand how to make coffee the right way. The owner is never there. They only come when they losing money, or the health department is coming.
