I had the regular coffee flight and their valentine special coffee flight. Their drinks were soooo good and tastes just like how you would expect it to taste. I cannot wait to come here and try other drinks! I would definitely come here for coffee if I am ever in the area. The price is decent, the taste is amazing, and the people here are super friendly. This southside coffee shops offered a variety of drinks (caffeinated/ non-caffeinated option) but the best part in my option is their flights. Why would you not order a flight to try a variety of drinks all at once? We had the hibiscus lemonade and matcha flight, the mango con crema and banana con crema were the standouts. We went on a weekend and there was a long line but it moved pretty quickly. Limited seating space but there are also chairs and tables on the outside. Street parking available. Stockyard Coffee House in Chicago, Illinois. Overall, I really liked it. The only small downside was that it felt a bit warm inside, probably because it was already a hot day outside. The staff--at least the person who helped me--didn't feel super welcoming. Not that they were rude, just not particularly warm either. I get it though, because even I get a little irritable when it's hot, so maybe that played a part. What I love the most is that it's Latina-owned, and that's something I truly admire. I always try to support Latino entrepreneurs when they're doing things right, and this place is definitely doing something creative. We ordered two flights--one with coffee and one with matcha. Each flight comes with four small samples, and they were all seasonal fall flavors, which I thought was such a fun and unique idea. It's cool because you get to try different drinks in little cups, almost like a tasting experience. The coffee flight (we got it iced) was amazing--the flavors were bold and had that strong coffee taste I personally love. The matcha flight was also fun, but I would have preferred a stronger matcha flavor in some of them. They also have plenty of milk options--we ordered ours with oat milk and it was delicious. On top of that, they have a pretty wide food menu with bagels, sandwiches, wraps, and more. We tried the tuna sandwich and it was really good, definitely worth recommending. The café has little chairs outside, the vibe inside is cozy, and I loved that they were playing Spanish music. That's something you don't usually find in most coffee shops here, and it gave the place extra personality. The only thing I'm still unsure about is the price. For two flights (coffee + matcha) and the sandwich, the total was around $55. Maybe that's a bit expensive--or maybe it's just the nature of ordering flights, since I had never tried that before. Stockyard is the neighborhood coffee place. There is a lot of coffee places in Bridgeport but Stockyard has graciously support our school fundraiser and for this they get a star. Wow, what a gem in Chicago! If you're close, it's a beautiful walk, right on the corner with inside & outside seating. A small cozy room, menu clearly displayed, with cute window and booth like seating. EXTREMELY well priced coffee & matcha that tastes so fresh and high end, plus a cute little pastry option. If you're hungry, they have a breakfast menu with things like breakfast bagels, lox, wraps, & toast. My friend has been telling me to try this place for years! I finally gave it a try and now I'm obsessed! The horchata latte is sooo good. Their breakfast sandwich is also great. It is a little small inside but they have other seating outside. I see some reviews saying the staff was rude or unwelcoming and the wait times are long. My first visit I did feel the girl taking my order was standoffish and cold but I brushed it off bc everyone doesn't have a warm, bubbly personality. After that first time, the staff has been very friendly so it could've just been an off day. The wait times are long when it's busy. My boyfriend took me to this coffeehouse. It's one of his favorites in Chicago. When we walked in it reminded me of a coffeehouse in Mexico City! Beautiful art on the walls and smelled delicious. I ordered the horchata latte and he ordered the pistachio latte with oat milk. They will accommodate your dietary restrictions. For food I ordered a croissant toasted. They don't have many options for protein breakfast sandwiches. Majority of the food options had pork. The staff was nice and service was fast. It was crowded but we got our drinks within 2 minuets. I found this coffee shop on TikTok and I'm so glad I checked it out! It's Hispanic-owned and run, which I love supporting. I originally went in for the coffee flight, but ended up trying the Matcha flight instead--and no regrets, it was gorgeous and tasted amazing. The coffee house was a cute little spot on the corner. I came here after landing at O'Hare. I got the fresa Matcha. It was really yummy. It has the flavor of the Mexican strawberry with Matcha. Kind of dismayed I didn't see the matcha flight anywhere before ordering. Several customers come by just to grab their coffees to go, but it is a cute location to sit down and enjoy your coffee & sandwiches. The breakfast sandwiches did take a long time to come out though and they seemed to be pretty backed up with their orders. Do yourself a favor and go here! I went with my family yesterday. One person got a regular drip coffee - loved it. One person got a cold brew - said it was one of the best cold brews they'd ever had. The place also has a few seats outside if there's not enough room. A good tip is to not bring a crowd. It's hard enough to get one person a seat in here. This was a place I was expecting to pick something up but was lucky enough to find a seat. Has an extensive amount of coffees and teas to choose from. There's both cold and hot. It's about $5 to get a coffee. The Cardamon Latte is a very good one. A few non dairy milks are available. To eat I got the Avocado Toast. It's $7 for a lot of good stuff on bread. This had a bunch of sliced avocados, balsamic glaze, spring mix, and tomatoes. Just a little hard to cut. The rest of the menu includes stuff like donuts and more. Good place not a far walk from the White Sox ballpark. It's best to bring no more than a couple people because space is limited. The neighborhood isn't trendy but it's safe and whatever. read more
