I've been to Dunkin' Donuts Park probably 1 million times but I'm so happy to finally be able to write my review! I don't think anything says "Hartford" better than grabbing some local bites and heading over to a game. As a few reviews have mentioned, parking can be a bit tough but it's good to see they're working on some new lots for all the traffic. I think pretty much every seat is a good one, but this time I was sat in the yard goats club! Great views and comfy seats for sure. All of the staff are always super helpful and engaging! read more

Take me out to the ball game I went to a Hartford Yard Goats game at Dunkin' Park, and it was a really enjoyable experience. Parking was simple. I parked in a garage right across from the field and had no trouble getting in. Inside, there are plenty of food options, though most stands sell the same basics: hot dogs, fries, chicken nuggets, etc. They also have Bear's Smokehouse for a slightly more "upscale" ballpark option. Drinks are what you'd expect. Lots of beer stands and even a margarita stand. I didn't try the margarita since it's premixed, but my friend got one and liked it. They serve them in these cute little Patrón cups, which was a nice touch. I stuck with wine from one of the standard stands. One fun surprise was a little petting zoo with goats, which was very on-brand and super cute. I'm not a sports fanatic by any means, but overall it was a fun night out. I bought last minute tickets and came here for a game and I had a blast! I've been raving about it to my family ever since. Until recently I did not consider myself a baseball fan.. and for the most part I'm not one. I want nothing to do with the baseball cards or other memorabilia or watching it ... mostly... There is something enchanting and endearing about the ballpark experience. Anyway I got tickets when I just happened to be driving by with somebody and we had nothing else to do. (Or we did and we canceled that thing and redirected). It was overcast when the game started but it never rained and we sat just a few rose behind home base. The place clears out quite quickly at the end of the game and you may have to park a few blocks away. I would actually recommend this because even 3 blocks away and you can avoid the pedestrians and get right on the highway (if you choose the right lot). Beware of parking in the right area! There are lots that tow downtown but there are many that charge fair prices and are well-placed according to the highway!! read more

First time coming to watch a game. The seats were excellent. There's no bad seats in the house. Very easy access to restrooms and a bunch of different food vendors. There were definitely a lot of choices for food and it all smelled good. We enjoyed what we got. The staff was helpful, helping us find our seats. As it was our first time there, they're a very accessible, one of our friends that came with us uses a cane, and we had easy access to the elevators as well. Parking is a little challenging, especially if you need assistance. Or you're not moving too fast. So please allow extra time for now to make sure you have people to help you. This is a great ballpark. I've been here for private parties as well as Yard Goat games. There's not a bad seat in the house. Bringing even the smallest children is easy given the wide open spaces, great food choices, and very friendly staff. Even with your assigned seat, you may not spend much time in them since there's so much to see around the park and a great view of the ongoing game at all times. read more

The Park dropped a star due to the looong walk experienced last summer ('23) on 90+ humid weather. Okay, I perspire even when I swim! Despite the has always delivered a great experience at the ballpark. It's a valuable addition to the City of Hartford and the surrounding areas needing a revitalized spirit. We had a GREAT TIME AT THE PARK! Parking was offered at 300 Market Street and could be pre-arranged and prepaid for convenience to get a spot. It was a short and easy walk to the stadium, only about one (1) city block to reach the ticket entrance. We took one flight of stairs up to the first deck level and seating sections, where we were glad to find the "SCOOPER SUNDAY" ticket ambassadors who we purchased wrist bans from, entitling us to ALL YOU CAN EAT ice cream and/or Italian ice from very generous vendors to support and benefit the Jordan Porco Foundation. Up another set of stairs to the covered deck above, was a PARTY PATIO, where we enjoyed tasting many ice cream flavors and refreshing Italian ice provided by the gracious vendors! The view was spectacular from behind home plate of the field. to see the local celebrities, the stadium, the field and JUMBO SCREEN SHOWING the game highlights and fun activities going on and good time being had BY ALL!! read more

Remember when they built this stadium? The construction delays? People saying that no one would ever go into Hartford for baseball? Yeah. I just attended a sold-out Saturday evening game with my sons. Granted, $12/ea for SRO tickets was a bit more than I expected to pay, but not outrageous. The park is well run with decent amenities and a family friendly atmosphere. At no time did I feel unsafe, even walking back to my car on Trumbull. Everyone we encountered, from the ticket scanners and security to the onsite Dunkin employees, were friendly and efficient (especially the lady with the live goats!). The postgame fireworks were a bit of a joke, over before they began, but I'm just nitpicking. Pro tip: Free parking on most streets Monday through Friday after 6pm and on weekends. read more

Before the Yard Goats started playing in Dunkin' Donuts Park, I rarely witnessed widespread pride in the Capital City. Now, I see people driving into Hartford to cheer the Goats at the Dunk. Singing YMCA. Wearing Steamed Cheeseburger hats. Watching kids in Baby Goat costumes race around the field. Standing in line for a dog. Playing air guitar on the Big Board. Friends and family spending quality time together and sharing an experience together in Hartford. I smell buttered popcorn. And Italian sausage. And people are jockeying to catch a foul ball. Or a free shirt. And the pride has spilled out of the Stadium. I have about four different Yard Goat and/or Alt Goat hats and about 3 different Goat and/or Alt Goat shirts. I wore a green Yard Goats t-shirt to the Goose concert in New Hampshire and a deep-voiced guy passed me and said "Love the Goats shirt man!" And I see people wearing Goats merch all the time. It makes me feel good about Hartford and I see it makes others feel good too. There aren't many places I'd rather be as long as I'm with my friends or family. read more

We had such an amazing experience today! My husband and I took our 3 year old son to his first baseball game. It was also our first time at a Hartford Yard Goats game. Parking was a breeze and only $5 using guidance from the Hartford Yard Goats website. We easily parked across the street and walked over to the stadium. We arrived an hour early and easily showed security our diaper bag then we were able to head inside. We immediately encountered the mascot - took some pictures, used the family bathroom (with no line!), grabbed snacks and headed to our seats. We sat in the outfield area row F (which we didn't strategically choose, but ended we up loving our seats). They weren't standard seats, they were bar stools (with backs) and a tray/bar in front of us. We also experienced some shade throughout the day while folks in general seating seemed to be hit by the sun nonstop. Game time was during nap-time so we didn't make it to the end of the game, but we can't wait to come back! read more

I visited Dunkin' Donuts Park for a Yard Goats game. I received a club level ticket for a Yelp Elite event. The club level is nice and has a large seating area. Also, there's a bar and food counter with items for purchase. The service at the bar could've been better but the margarita was well made. The service at the food counter was excellent. Overall, the venue seems to be very family friendly. There was staff walking around cleaning up the areas as well. Definitely worth checking out on a week night or weekend to enjoy a game. read more

This is a great ballpark to see a baseball game! Whoever designed it did a great job. The sight lines are excellent from any seat. The scoreboard is large and easily visible. The skyboxes are nice too- an indoor area ( with A/C) and an outdoor area with about 18 seats. The food was decent and not outrageously expensive. Parking is okay- but you have to park offsite and walk about 1/2 mile- and costs $5. As for the baseball? Not the best, but this is double-A baseball so what do you expect? This park had me all over the place on the review. First of all, parking is a disasterpiece in downtown Hartford. While stopped in traffic following my friends, I shot down a side street and squeezed my car into a meter for $5. I don't know what parking costs in the designated lots, but I didn't want to wait another 30 minutes to find out. Chalk that up to unfamiliarity. Ballpark itself: There _is_ a path around the entire park. The bullpens look like they take up the whole space in back, but not true, you can actually walk around them and a complete circuit of the park. Merchandise: I have a cheeseburger hat I love (that's their alternate persona, the Steamed Cheeseburgers being a Connecticut staple food) but the size is a tiny bit too small. They were willing to exchange it but they are out of the burgers! They just have fries now! :( No dice there. I'm stuck with the small hat. Atmosphere: Not enough goat. There was only one between-innings goat video played. The goat mascots only showed themselves ONCE ALL GAME and I didn't see them AT ALL in the stands! Even the Yankees' Somerset Patriots do better with their references, and the Yankees are the stodgiest team in baseball. (I say this as a fan, mind you.) So it's just a generic park. Other: Game was sold out so we ended up with Standing Room tickets for $12 ($10 plus fee). Not terrible, not great on the pricing. A few places around the park have red seats for us, but standing area is really best in right field near the foul pole. It was drizzling that whole evening so a lot of people stayed home, and the 3 of us could easily have sat down - except rain. So we stayed by the foul pole. Only one water fountain area (2 fountains, one barely worked) and that's behind home plate by the restrooms. Verdict: This is NOT reflecting on the team, only the ballpark. I was rooting for the team the whole night, FWIW. But the park is very average in my opinion. They had red firehats for ice cream for some promotion/sponsor, but NO TEAM LOGO PLASTIC HELMETS. Really?! Even the scoreboard isn't run that well - pitch speed is on its own random display halfway across the park, you can't really see stats at a glance. So I made it once, and I think once is enough. read more

It is simple. You must go! The park is easy to get to, Clean, many many food options, Good view from any seat. I just enjoy coming here. I have been here for a night game and a noon game. Full of kids, special event, locals singing the anthem and lots of antics. Just fun! You don't have to be a baseball fanatic to enjoy. Good baseball, close up to see and enjoy. Despite all the controversy and delays around developing Dunkin' Donuts Park, it appears to have been worth the wait! I love minor league baseball games, and DD does a great job keeping that love alive. It is a bit commercial, but there's a lot of local love, like Bear's and lots of Hooker beer. I got stuck with standing room, but it actually was awesome to get lots of different angles of the field. It was pretty easy to get a good view of the game without others around vying for space. It is pretty cool to watch the Hartford skyline in the background, as well. Definitely check it out and feel your heart swelling with local pride. read more

I've got to admit it's getting better, A little better all the time (The Beatles - Getting Better) First there was the Marriott and the Civic Center. Then there was Front Street and all of its entertainment attractions. And now there is Dunkin' Donuts Park, where the Hartford Yard Goats play Class AA minor league baseball. Yes, downtown Hartford sure is getting better all the time. My first visit to Dunkin Donuts Park was terrific, and left me very optimistic about the future of downtown Hartford. Pick any superlative in the dictionary, and it isn't good enough to describe the Dunk. Comfy, roomy, gorgeous, fan friendly--they all fit. Five dollar parking was right across the street -pretty darned convenient. We sat in the $15 swivel seats (section 108) between home plate and the visitor's dugout on the first base side. These were pretty cool seats- kind of like a private box with a shelf for your food and beers. They also gave us a wonderful view of the stadium and views of downtown. There was a lot going on before, during, and after the game - Yard Goat Mascots posing for pictures, T Shirt toss and music between innings, Dunkin Donut mascot races (a donut, an iced coffee and a coffee cup) post game fireworks- you never get bored at a minor league game. One very cool thing we saw was the centerfield scoreboard crowned by a big coffee cup. We saw more than one Yard Goat home run last night, and when that happens, steam wafted out of the cup. The stadium has a lot of food choices. We went with a $6 cheeseburger and were thrilled to see it was a pretty good sized patty that was made even better with a free topping bar for shredded lettuce, tomato slices, chopped onions, and jalapeno slices! Just a few observations on room for improvement. As mentioned, we parked across from the stadium and had to cross four lanes of Main Street to get to the park. I saw zero traffic control and that seemed dangerous to me. There was one motorcycle officer parked on the sidewalk in front of the lot, but I thought there should have been some sort of police presence in the street giving the spectators safe passage across those four lanes of a busy street into the stadium. The parking lot itself is very tightly packed with narrow aisles, and had we not left the game early, I shudder to think about what getting out of there would have been like. The swivel seats were great, but they do invite other patrons to poach on the wonderful sight-lines, invade your personal space, and even use your shelf trays. Lastly, there was a puppet show with music right behind us, and when they started it up the music was so loud it drowned out the whole ball game for a good five minutes, before it was toned down. Quite possibly one of the best minor league parks in the country. Start with a great facility. A big league feel to walk around with wide concourses and great sight lines to watch the action. Plentiful bathrooms. Wide variety of food Add Bears BBQ. Long line but moves fast. Then add great service. Very friendly people who work there. Then the Club level. A terrific bar with some craft beers and reasonable ballpark prices. All adds up to a wonderful value for a fun night out. Don't miss this jewel. read more

I came to a Yard Goats game a few weeks ago and it was so memorable. This stadium is 100% worth Hartford's debt. That's a controversial statement but it gives a new reason to come to boring, grown up and somewhat expensive Hartford, most games are sold out and everyone has a great time. First off, I'm a huge baseball fan. I watch baseball every single day of the season. But only a few times I am able to watch it live. Luckily Hartford just spent millions on one of the nicest MiLB (Minor League Baseball) stadiums in the country. Sadly there aren't many Colorado Rockies fans around here so not many would genuinely care about the players but of course they still play for Hartford and represent the people from this area so I guess I'm still a fan. The stadium is BEAUTIFUL. No signs of cutting corners or shortcuts, everything looks new because it should, and it's very easy to find parking and your seats. There's plenty of food options, not super overpriced like all stereotypical ballpark food, and it's actually good! I heard there's a Bear's Smokehouse in there as well. Can't wait for next season to give it a try. As for the apparel store, they have big name brands such as Nike and New Era sponsoring the team. The apparel is high quality. Pricey but great quality. But yeah! Late review but my experience there was so memorable that I remember it like it was yesterday. I understand Hartford has so much debt behind it but this stadium is so nice that honestly, I don't even care. Come give Hartford your money as they give you a great experience for you and your entire family. Baseball isn't for everyone but EVERYONE I know that has been to a Yard Goats game here at Dunkin Donuts Park absolutely LOVED it. "I don't like baseball but I love Yard Goats games". The Park is beautiful and tickets and refreshments are very reasonable. Here is my issue. They say that the have lots and garages that offer $5 event parking. Here is the scam the garage we parked in that was part of the event parking. When we drove in there was nobody at either of the gates to show our tickets to get the discount. So after waiting almost ten minutes for someone to show up, I pressed the button, as instructed to take a ticket. After the game once again no one at the gate. When I put the ticket into the machine it said I owned $15.50. After some trouble trying to get payment to work, magically after person appeared to help. When I questioned about the event price, her reply was you had to show your game ticket when you entered. When I said no one was there to show it to, all she did was shrug her shoulders and walk away muttering I'm sorry. This is a total scam!!! Then Hartford wonders why people don't go into the city!!!! I will definitely go to another Yard Goats game. But will never park in that garage for anything again !!!!! read more

Unbelievable! The stadium is outstanding especially for minor league baseball. Weekend game tickets are mostly always sold out.. with fireworks after the game. The stadium is very clean and well maintained equipped with a lot of staff to help you to your seats.... food stands are spread all around the peripheral of the stadium and the food was better than I expected. For my first experience I thought it was great they made it so much fun with the kiss cam, celebrity look-a-likes cam, cheers and mascot races, YardGoat t-shits toss... so many things to keep you entertained. Really fun time at the yardgoats game! Tons of food, beer, wine, seltzer and cocktail options with your classic ballpark dogs and popcorn. If you're looking for an upgrade you can definitely splurge on everything from bears BBQ, loaded cheesesteaks, bacon wrapped hot dogs, Rubens and pastrami grinders, you name it. The game we came too was awesome with lots of mid game activities and surprises for the crowd. A jewel treasure of the downtown Hartford area. The park is a must see and worth the trip. Parking is $5 and a five minute walk from the gate. No seat is a bad one and the refreshments have a local flavor that are native to the restaurants in the area. If you love baseball, the price won't bust your budget. Their White Claw Black Cherry hard seltzer is one of their good alcoholic offerings. The food was respectfully priced. Hartford has a park they can be proud of; I just hope that they now keep up its appearances. The staff (and even the mascots) were all around friendly. An average nine inning game is done in about 2 hrs & 40 minutes. read more
