Both teams played like the dickens, the audience was pumped, my glass of Ommegang Rare Vos wowed, the venue was convenient and right sized and parking was easy. My father sprang for rink side seats which, at $27 a pop, seem like a very good deal these days. That he was able to get rink side seats at the last minute was also very cool. Not so cool for the people trying to turn a buck on the venture, but great for the fans. I'd strongly recommend you check it out.

Two significant turnoff# that will keep me from returning…read more First, the Sun team exited the floor en mass just prior to that National Anthem and returned immediately alter. Before you say they returned to the locker room to continue pregame prep, nope. They were gone less than 2 minutes and their opponents all stood and faced the flag respectively. Second, the team plays music during play. It's distracting and takes away from the game. It's too bad because the team is good but I won't pay them to be disrespected.

Took over 10 mins to get someone on the phone to speak about a refund and even after explaining the item had arrived late they would not refund it. They did offer game tickets but we are past the date of the birthday Very disappointed in this process. Had that info been on their website I would not have ordered anything. Feeling very frustrated.

The Pens have been super fortunate to win here quite often. A personal highlight was a few years back when we visiting WB/S fans outnumbered the Sound Tiger fans...good times. Anyways this arena is fantastic. AHL hockey is fantastic. Why is the arena always a ghost town?!? I think that has a lot to do with how expensive the tickets are here. You can sit lower bowl center ice for ~25 in Hershey, WB/S, Lehigh Valley, and Binghamton. Here ~25 only gets you corner seats. Moving closer to center ice the ticets go up to 48 and 58 to sit on the glass?! That's crazy for the AHL. It's even worse, that they are the Islander's affiliate, and you can regularly get into most Islanders games for 30-40 dollars. This building should really try having 20$ tickets, or maybe consider general admission since the crowds are so small. Someone in ticketing should really go visit Hershey or Bingo to see how they sell tickets and price their tickets accordingly. The half empty building really takes away from the game environment too. People in CT love hockey, just not at these inflated prices.

The food wasn't warm. Imagine room temp hotdogs, chicken strips and French fries being served to guests that purchased 2 suites. Also the vegetable tray didn't come out with ranch dressing so I asked about it and they made due with what the had. They put it in a bowl with a ladle. The other thing that bothered me was the electrical within the elevator. Screws missing and open holes. We had quite a few little kids in our group riding up to the suites and it would have only taken one of them to stick their little fingers in and zap.

We've gone to Dodd Stadium several times now for drive thru covid testing. Keep in mind that the…read moreline can get pretty long, so we always plan to get there 1-2hrs before they open. There are 2 different lines, 1 for essential workers, priority and then a standard community line. The staff comes to your window before you go in and radio in the information of those testing with your ID. If you have an appt. they have your information in the system and print out the info on your vile. When it is your turn, you drive into the tent and the staff comes to your window to do the test once you confirm the information on the vile is correct (name, and D.O.B.). They are friendly and the process is quick, so it's not a horrible experience. If needed, they have paperwork to hand you to review the process and information. You don't have to touch anything, just roll your window down and they do the swabbing in your nose and put the swab in a vile and into a separate individual plastic bag for processing. Once you're done, they open the door and you can drive out of the tent. Your results come later via the contact information you provided.
