Two customers came in behind me, and the employee working, Derek, was also rude to them. He questioned why they didn't simply tell him they wanted the same thing, which came across as unprofessional and disrespectful. Unfortunately, this is not the first negative experience I've had at this Subway location. On a previous visit, I arrived around 3:45 PM and was treated poorly because they were preparing to close. I was told they were closed, even though they were not. When I asked to speak with the manager, I was informed that he was the manager. It wasn't until I began asking who oversaw the entire food court that his attitude changed and he became more polite. Customer service matters, especially in a customer-facing role. I would strongly recommend additional training on professionalism, courtesy, and how to appropriately interact with customers. Based on my experiences, I cannot recommend this location to others who simply want a pleasant meal and respectful service.
