I came in today and ordered a smoothie. Ainsley took my order and made my drink. While I did not think that we had a negative interaction, my drink was not fully mixed together and was not filled all the way. There was not much hospitality and she did not make me feel very welcomed unlike the other worker who greeted me and told me to have a nice day with a genuine smile. read more

Not a bad coffee shop! Good selection of black coffees but this place doesn't know how to steam milk without hurting everyone's ears in the building. This place is my go to when I want a huge muffin or scone! They also are the only coffee shop that serves croissants besides Starbucks!! We stayed at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Manhattan and this was right across the parking lot so I thought I'd give it a try. It was definitely well worth it! It was almost like a boutique coffee shop. Their drinks were so delicious. It's nice to find coffee places that aren't huge chains and actually take pride in their store and product. When we go back to Manhattan next year I'll definitely be getting my coffee fixed from them. I highly recommend giving them a try if you ever find yourself in Manhattan Kansas! read more

This particular location, no, do not recommend (the other manhattan location is good). We got three different iced coffees and none of them tasted like the flavor it was supposed to be, they all had an incredibly strong burnt taste, just nasty. Not going back to this location again $18 totally wasted. read more

Radina's coffee is excellent. Blended and roasted in the shop by a team that really knows what they're doing. The quality shows in the cup and how it's presented at the table. I'd bet you a strawberry scone that this little coffee shop had been studied, dissected, analyzed, and pined after by every trend hunting Hollywood set locater attempting to capture and recreate the compelling magic of a college coffee house. It's perfect in it's Central Perk-ish predictability -- tasty fresh brewed coffee served up in funky handmade mugs, live music nights, cozy seating, freshly baked treats, free wifi, and packed full of students (dressed the part, obviously,) studying, chatting, browsing... It's like a case study in coffee shopology -- truly a little bean biosphere in the middle of Kansas. And I'm so so SO thankful I got to be a lab rat. I'll sign up for this caffeinated experiment any day... it's just the location we've got to negotiate. read more

I can't say enough good things about Radina's Coffeehouse in Manhattan, Kansas. The people are super nice, there's free WiFi and plenty of good food and drink. Diverse options include bubble milk tea (boba or tapioca milk tea) and salads, scones and apples. The best part about Radina's is that there are so many seating choices. You can sit on an overstuffed armchair, at a small roundtable for two, a giant desk for almost a dozen in a side room, by a window, or by potted plant with your own personal lamp. read more

The girl behind the counter knew her stuff from the minute we checked in. Any time someone starts off with body and mouth feel, I feel confident where're settling into good hands. I'm a coffee snob, and lived their mix of offerings for the black coffee fan. They had 3 in addition to their house, including a Tanzania, which she recommended to me. If an African bean is involved, I'm there, and did not regret my choice. They have a healthy variety of tempting scones and quiche on hand, which I might have to try later. But come on, it's all about the roast and the service, and both were welcoming and in command. There is ample seating, and at 8am, it was mostly a few professors and to go customers. All in all, friendly service always brings me back, and the brew stands up to anything I spend twice on in New York. The Baristas' positive, polite attitudes have put me in a good mood this morning, and would be enough to make me a regular. Would highly recommend to anyone who cares about coffee, or just loves a welcoming environment. read more

First of all, love this college town. Great buzz and a lot going on despite we are in the midst of Kansas. Decided to search out a local coffee shop versus the name brand on near my hotel. Great choice. The atmosphere is excellent. Lots of space to sit and a private room for groups to meet. They have greeted everyone who walks in the front door. Very happy staff. Nice jazz playing on the stereo and free wifi. Can't go wrong. College students working on papers, locals catching up on the days news, business types dealing the deal. Definitely a nice medium size town spot to hang. Not much to see outside but parking lots but that it fine. Still enough people walking by for people watching. It's a good day. read more

Cute local spot for coffee when you're in the city of Manhattan. Radina's is located in the Downtown area, and few storefronts down from Varsity Donuts. Radina's is a great coffeehouse and bakery in Manhattan, KS. The downtown location is right by my apartment, so I visit pretty frequently. The baristas are skilled and the bakery features a variety of items including sweets and homemade breads. It's usually busy with people studying/working, but always easy to find a table and it doesn't get too loud so it's a good place to grab a coffee and read or work. There is also a drive through if you're in a rush and need a coffee to go. Next time you're in downtown Manhattan, stop by Radina's for some great coffee and pastries! read more

When I'm in Manhattan I take my Mom here and we enjoy the Polar Mocha - her big time favorite. It's the highlight of her weekend! I first went to this place in the early 90's when it was the "Cafe Royale". It has changed hands since then and becoming Radina's is a big improvement! I'm in love with this coffee house. This is my first time living in a small college town and so far I'm loving it! If you are staying to have your coffee here, you won't get it in a plastic cup, but you'll sip it out of these wonderful mugs that make you feel like you are at grandma's house. To me that was a big change coming from the city life in California! Four years ago Radina's was my favorite place to hang out in Manhattan. Then things started to change - slowly at first - the expansion, the store on Claflin, the price hikes, the menu changes, the staff attitude (to be fair I did see a few staff members get talked down to on the floor by the owner so of course they acted grumpy), the store on campus, different coffee roasters, the store on 4th, more price hikes, outdoor seating in Aggieville, smaller eclairs, bigger eclairs, fancy petit fours, lack of Duty First coffee.... The current menu finally seems pulled together and I especially like the hummus plate and the Cuban sandwich. But it's no longer my go-to place. read more

Best coffee shop in Manhattan. I love going here and getting a bottomless cup of coffee, finding a place to sit, and reading the paper. They always have a relatively large selection of quiche, scones, cookies and cakes. Also available is bubble tea, specialty coffee drinks, and they offer a breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu consisting mainly of sandwiches. The free wi-fi is a great bonus. My organization meets regularly here, and we are certainly fans of their coffee, tea, cinnamon rolls and quiche. Great place and great location for K-State and MCC students. Only place in town that serves Affogato. Tried it today and really liked it, the vanilla gelato had a nice rich consistency and the espresso shot was bold. Would've liked even more if the espresso was poured piping hot, though, which is why I gave them 4 stars. Will plan to make that request to them next time. I'm a fan of their hot chocolate with whipped cream -- great study and reading spot for the free wifi and calm music. Good no-nonsense food. Also try their homemade fine artisan chocolates.. awesome flavors such as Chai and they are all made out of fresh cream! read more

Radina's Bakehouse downtown makes great breads. The multi-grain is my favorite. The baguette is a close second but every bread I've had has been superb, kudos to the bakers. I rarely drink coffee but do enjoy chai tea and the breakfast pockets. The outside seating on warm days is fantastic. Great stop when visiting the Flint Hills Discovery Center. I live next to the Radina's Claflin location but they don't sell the loafs of bread so I rarely go. The view at the top of the hill is wunderbar, which makes it a nice place to take visitors who do drink coffee. read more

I want to like this place for many reasons, most important of which is, they are an independent local business. Only slightly less important is the fact they are a coffeehouse. Unfortunately, their espresso roast is way too dark making their lattes taste as burnt as *$'s. Their selection of baked goods bumps this review up from 2 stars though, because there isn't a bad one in the whole case. (Have not tried the gelato or sandwiches.) I loved Marie's scones, without all the sugary glaze, but they're gone, and I used to love the lattes, but now they just taste like hot milk, and I loved running into people who actually cared about me.
