I've been a regular customer here for years and have always ordered the same drink without issue. During my visit this morning, I ordered a caramel latte and requested six pumps of sugar--something that has been done consistently for me for the past three years. At the time, there was no line inside and only one car in the drive‑through. Despite that, the general manager abruptly told me to use sugar packets myself rather than adding the liquid sugar as requested. The way this was communicated felt dismissive, especially considering we were placing a large breakfast order totaling over $78. I want to be clear that I was not asking for anything for free. I simply wanted my coffee made the way I've always ordered it, and at that price point, I don't think that's an unreasonable expectation. When I chose to cancel the order, the reaction from staff made me feel as though I was in the wrong. I later asked to speak with the manager to address how the situation was handled, but there was no apology or acknowledgment of my concern. Instead, I was told I could have handled things better, despite remaining calm and respectful throughout the interaction. My issue is not with the coffee shop itself, but with how this particular situation was handled by staff. A little courtesy and accountability would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, that lack of professionalism overshadowed what has otherwise been a place I've enjoyed supporting for years. read more

Radina's was a staple during my college years at K State. I have so many fond memories of visiting the various campus locations...so naturally, when back in Manhattan to visit, this was my first stop! It was game day, so the line was understandably long, and a little slow, but the baristas were so kind despite the rush. When I got to the counter, I ordered an orange chocolate scone and my go-to triple chai latte (dirty). My scone was so good it didn't make it to the obligatory food photo! Super moist, with the perfect blend of chocolate and citrus. I loved it. My drink was pretty good - not amazing, but a solid latte and it supplied the caffeine needed to make it through a long game day. A solid coffee stop for sure, and delicious baked goods! read more

I'm no baker but I can make a tasty scone, which Radina's has not mastered. I ordered a lemon poppy seed scone, which needs a lot of improvement. The scone was tough, dry and stale. Which happens when the dough is over worked too long and butter substitutes are used. I'm almost certain the scones came from the freezer because the scone were excessively sweet. Excessively sweet pastries are an indication the product is not fresh. Sugar is used as a shelf life extender. Save your money and make your own pastries. I would be skeptical of a bakery that's always advertising for a baker. read more

Fantastic bakery. Probably literally the only place in the area for bread baked from scratch. Pastries are very good but the variety's gone down in the last few years. I miss the cherry danish! The chocolate/confectionery is just OK. Skip the soups. Things to try: * bread! The coffee options have all been spot on! My favorite is the caffe mocha. But the regular brew is good as well. We try not to go crazy on pastries due to calories, but recently tried the ham and cheese jalapeño croissant and the quiche while we were heading on a road trip. Do not get the quiche. It is not a fresh baked slice. It is in a container that is warmed up as though from a frozen box and the taste was inedible. The ham and cheese croissant was flavorful and I enjoyed it, but make sure you eat inside as it explodes into thousands of dry flaky pieces of croissant in your car if you attempt to eat on the road. This is a good option for coffee and quick bite on the go and grateful they have a drive thru even though it is is a slow process. read more

I had a truly perfect scone - raspberry lemon - at Radina's Bakehouse. It was moist and delicious. The latte was smooth with no harsh burnt flavor. Loved it and It was served in a hearty pottery mug. Lots of tables for people to sit at including outdoor seating. Friendly staff. I want to support local coffee so bad. But WHY! Why do your lids suck so bad? They leak every single time. All over our car. All over my nice sweater. It's such an inconvenience. Iced coffee. Radina's Bakehouse is a great local addition. Located in Blue Earth Place at 3rd and Fort Riley Blvd., it is near the new hotels and downtown and has a fresh, modern feel to the ambiance. The breads here are outstanding. There is a daily rotation that is not easy to pin down, but I am thrilled to have snatched a loaf of the jalapeno cheese bread the past 2 weeks. Today I got the last one, and last week the second to last one! It was so good I ate the whole loaf in 24 hours! Don't tell anyone. Service can be tough here - once I waited for a really long time to ask a question about the bread days. I overheard a woman pre-order a loaf to reserve, but when I tried to do that, I was not allowed to do so. I am hoping to try the challah on a Friday soon. Radina's is making special round challahs for the high holy days which I think is awesome. I also love the scones here (most recently had cheddar-green onion). They also have BLONDIES!! I resisted but I will try one soon. Also, I would like to get here for lunch sometime to try the beet salad because beets are the best! Radina's is also known for its coffee and tea. I always enjoy a glass of iced green tea here. There is a loyalty card but just for drinks...too bad not for bread! read more

Its an excellent environment for me to get work done and before covid they were open late enough for me to enjoy coffee and a treat. Their bread is good! I have tried the multigrain-- delicious! The sourdough not so much. Not sour enough! And it was pretty stale because they sit open in the case all day uncovered. Their pastries are ALL delicious. I have tried so many and never been disappointed in any except the caramel apple scone. The drinks are pretty good, the Honey Bear Latte is nice if you don't like your coffee too sweet. I get their mochas usually, not very chocolatey at all (perfect for me), but they don't stir in the mocha sauce so they taste like a latte with a dash of chocolate then at the end all the sauce is stuck to the bottom. The customer service aspect is okay. They could pay more attention to customers. But the sense of urgency is non-existent. On a busy day such as Saturday morning you could wait in line for 30 minutes. The drive thru line seems to get priority. I do enjoy coming here and the employees have always been helpful but once I came with a friend whom had a 2 year old. He was dragging a chair for no more than 10 seconds before a male employee came over disgruntled saying, "This is a coffee shop, we can't be having this in here. Customers are complaining." Really? They could hear that over the hellishly loud music, and came to complain and you responded all within 15 seconds? We apologized and left soon after as we felt kids were not welcome in their shop Overall, I feel like they could really brush up on their customer service skills, their wait time, and their drink preparation. I got a turkey bacon sandwich my first time and was very impressed with how filling and delicious it was. Their vanilla Italian soda was very tasty and it paired well with the sandwich.
