Radina's was a staple during my college years at K State. I have so many fond memories of visiting the various campus locations...so naturally, when back in Manhattan to visit, this was my first stop! It was game day, so the line was understandably long, and a little slow, but the baristas were so kind despite the rush. When I got to the counter, I ordered an orange chocolate scone and my go-to triple chai latte (dirty). My scone was so good it didn't make it to the obligatory food photo! Super moist, with the perfect blend of chocolate and citrus. I loved it. My drink was pretty good - not amazing, but a solid latte and it supplied the caffeine needed to make it through a long game day. A solid coffee stop for sure, and delicious baked goods!

This place is positively amazing. Order the chai. It will not disappoint! The bakery treats are also sure to meet your approval. I can't wait to visit Manhattan again so I can head back for another chai

I'll all about a good pastry on a Sunday morning and this place did not disappoint. A bonafide bakery and coffee shop. I love the decor and the chocolate croissant I purchased was delicious!

    Ham and cheese jalapeño croissant

The coffee options have all been spot on! My favorite is the caffe mocha. But the regular brew is good as well. We try not to go crazy on pastries due to calories, but recently tried the ham and cheese jalapeño croissant and the quiche while we were heading on a road trip. Do not get the quiche. It is not a fresh baked slice. It is in a container that is warmed up as though from a frozen box and the taste was inedible. The ham and cheese croissant was flavorful and I enjoyed it, but make sure you eat inside as it explodes into thousands of dry flaky pieces of croissant in your car if you attempt to eat on the road. This is a good option for coffee and quick bite on the go and grateful they have a drive thru even though it is is a slow process.

Lavender honey latte was delicious! Ham and cheese croissant, hit the spot and had the right flakey texture. Would highly recommend.

I was meeting a friend at 4:30, parking was difficult and I found out as I was parking that it closed at 5. It is super cute. Awesome that the owner uses the coffee shop as a literal work of art. Nicely done and decorated. I did love that they were consistent with the flight theme. I think it could have been cool if they offered "flights" of different flavored coffees. I did not see anything on the menu but I didn't know where to look. The menu is literally all over the place(on multiple walls). Not having one big menu on one single wall really messed with me lol. This was not ideal for someone in a rush. The menu was huge letters. It could have been condensed to one single place leaving more room for the art. I was super excited to see quiche in the display. But once I bit into it I was disappointed. No flavor, none. Little flavor in the flaky crust but the meat and egg were flavorless. Even the sausage was plain. I don't even think they used salt or pepper. It was high quality coffee and my latte was decent. I really expected more from a place with such rave reviews. Maybe I am just spoiled with all the spectacular coffee shops in Kansas City.

I love eating for free. Being in downtown MHK, it's a relatively small joint. However, the spacing is easy to navigate, and the decor is very mature. They take themselves seriously, as they should! Anywho, tapas is a very European dining style, with small plates designed to not fill you immediately, so you're able to try several items on the menu in one night. After several visits now, I can say with full confidence that everything on the menu is worth trying and worth the money. The drinks are well measured and nicely balanced. They have experienced staff who know their menu, in the sense that their explanations are very informative. Please, treat yourself and get that basque cheesecake. It's pretty amazing! I'd recommend this to any alumni or parent taking a weekend to watch the cats give a beat down on the gridiron, and looking for a nice, memorable dinner with the family. Once again, students beware! This one isn't cheap! Lol.
