Even if it hadn't been a hot and humid July day, I'm convinced the warm welcome I received would have been exactly the same. We need more places like Downtown Coffee and Cream in our world. They've found their niche: genuine hospitality served with a side of coffee and cream. My first visit was in the afternoon, where I enjoyed a scoop of "This Just Got Serious" ice cream and a strawberry smoothie. I came back the next morning for an Americano and a cinnamon swirl bagel. Just as before, the staff was smiling, engaging, and serving quality with every order.
