So... the Honeoye Falls location is a literal 3 minute walk from me. I frequent the store, about 3-5x/day as I love their drinks and whatnot. The staff and managers are very friendly towards me... what the people who are complaining about poor customer service ought to know is that being the first to be friendly would likely help your situation. I come here all the time, about every other day. I won't deny there are less friendly workers, and slower times in the evening, or that some days there are inconveniences with things like their espresso machine. Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful. If you took a moment to look at the staff running 3 directions at busy times or days, you might notice they are moving very fast to get you your food and beverage. Everyone wants to say this location is slow or short staff, that it isn't their problem. But maybe take time to consider, they are making things for drive through, inside, and the mobile orders. Think of the extra time due to your hot latte or the two large espresso shots that take extra time, or 6 your food items, perhaps the day or time you go. Remember that YOU are choosing to go there when you're already running late, that maybe your drink is never right bc you don't even know what you like. that if you pick up your mobile orders after a awhile, yeah it's going to be cold or melted, they made it and you waited. Likewise, in busy hours mobile orders, especially walk ins are not the priority. The drive through is timed from the moment you order to when you leave, if you think the staff or at least the main staff is slow, look up from your phone to see 3 people doing the job or 5 or 6. Notice that anytime your order is wrong they fix it. Sometimes the same girl will take my order, make my food/drink, grab my donut, and cash me out, all by herself. And remember that among the constant order taking, drink and food making, and cashing out, in between their brewing more coffee, restocking more cups and lids, solving problems for your sake, getting bottled drinks from the front, their running (literally) to the back to get things from the cooler, their making sure to clean up the areas where your food/drink is being made, and much more. It is the only drive through around so when everyone decides to place a mobile order or go there the same time, what do you expect. Maybe don't choose to go on Friday or Monday like everyone else does. Maybe don't ignore the person cashing you out, or stare at them as if they knew what way you are paying, if there's a line have your money ready. Learn to order correctly (drink-size-temp-add ins), and when you say you want 2 of a drink make sure they are the same thing (ex. 2 small Hot coffees, 2&2). Be reasonable and realize that when they run out of something it's because lots of people also want it, and that it only makes things harder on them, not because they have a secret stash or something. I might also suggest that if you're so dissatisfied, make your own bagel and coffee at home. And STOP blaming the employees and leaving reviews because you don't like the price, they have no control over it, and once again just make it at home instead of acting like they can do anything about it. When I visit this location I often see that the customers are much more rude than any of the workers, and they take your rudeness while saying "I'm so sorry let me fix that for you". I have talked to many of the staff and heard their complaints as well as the ones hear, I've been inside to see what happens, and I've been in the drive through. It's distasteful to see so many people here that are quick to blame the workers and not fact In any of their own actions or have any consideration to they people making you and 10 other people request at once. So before you get on here to complain think about it all. And lastly think of this... the workers are timed in the drive through, they get in trouble if the time is over like 1.5 minutes. The time starts when you get to the speaker so if you take forever deciding what you want, that's lots of time of nothing, then you order and they punch it in, now if you order certain drinks those take more time, if you order multiple drinks and food items thats lots of time, if a mobile order wanted something they don't have they have to make something quick to fix it or refund them, people decide to add things after they get to the window or after they pay which is even more time, how long it takes you to take your money out, yk mistakes happen and you Order the wrong thing or they make it the wrong way. If there isn't full staff someone can not prepare a drink and note your order. up until you drive away your time there, is timed. Sometimes long waits are bc of customers and sometimes it's because of workers. Take a moment to consider your actions, and consider others at any drive through or restaurant you attend, or don't go. I mobile ordered my food 30 minutes before arriving and I still had to wait longer to get my food. This is ridiculous. I get that they are understaffed, but it's no excuse to yell at the customers when they ask how much longer their food is going to take. I have been to this dunkin so many times and everytime there is either rude service or they get my order wrong. If you're short staffed, thats fine but the workers are just rude. Very disappointed! Stood at the counter for almost 15 minutes this morning but nobody even acknowledged me!! I have tried over and over at the Honeoye Falls location. its under- staffed no manager on when I asked for my money back. I felt bad for the employees cooking so I decided to just take my coffee and forego my sandwich. When I asked this young girl for my money back she said she couldn't do it no manager was on. i go well don't u need a manager on? She goes no we r doing just fine and continue to scold me in front of other customers. I told her she needs to stop. she kept on yelling as I walked out the store. It amazes me that this Dunkin Donuts has never got my order correct. It is a simple order "toasted multigrain bagel with Egg and Bacon ONLY" Then they always ask the stupid question do you want cheese...I say NO CHEESE... They manage to slap cheese on it every time anyhow. One time the dude opened the sandwich and peeled the cheese off while I watched. Today I sent my husband to get me the same order... He waited forever in the drive thru to be told they were out of multigrain... He got out of line and called me I told him to ask for wheat. He got back in line and ordered, again to be told they don't have wheat but they do have multigrain.?!! So he ordered it and brought it home and of course it was covered with cheese! Ugh!! I usually enjoy my medium iced latte. But I am Dairy And Gluten free due to my sensitive stomach. I ordered an UNSWEETENED, almond milk w liquid cane sugar iced latte. I double checked when i ordered. when it was handed to me it was obviously not my regular. I said this is not right. It looked as light as the iced latte my mother got. I said something to them and they were like no no its dairy free, so i took it. I took three sips and realized it definitely was not dairy free. I even had my mother try it and she thought the same. Here I am hours later, having digestive problems. And having an anxiety attack because stomach problems make me anxious. TERRIBLE SERVICE. read more

Unfortunately this relatively new D&D is having trouble staffing the business. We've visited this location a handful of times and it always takes 2-3 times longer to get our order fulfilled than other D&D locations. Today it took almost 25 minutes at drive though! When we asked the manager at the window why it took so long he stated that they were "short staffed". Staffing adequately is not the customers problem and should be easy to solve. Plenty of qualified, good people avaialble in Honeoye Falls to interview and employ. This ongoing issue with painfully slow service needs ro get fixed soon. Been hearing negative reviews of HF's DD but honestly, I've never had bad service there. Maybe it's the time of day I stop, or what I order - but I'm there at noon, at early morning hours, at 3pm-ish, and JSUT before closing every Monday - the crew knows what I usually order, are ready for me, and ... I'm very happy. Sure there are bad days and extra busy times, but I've run into that at ANY fast food, coffee, or breakfast place, regardless of area. Any guess what - restaurants - even the 'big ones' run out of what is on their menus from time to time - its frustrating but it happens. read more
