Had THE best donuts at Tobey's Donut shop and the privilege of meeting the Fourth Generational Owner who was amazing!!!! This place is so cute and inviting. I am a sucker for pink and this place is a pink girl's heaven. You can smell the baked goodness before you even open the door. When you walk in it's donuts in your face and boy was I lovin it. We ordered the PB&J donut, an eclair, and a blueberry donut. We also ordered scrambled eggs and bacon. Of course we had to get the coffee. These were the lightest donuts I've ever tasted. Full of flavor and no greasy fingers. I will forever love PB&J. The scrambled eggs were flavorful and fluffy and the bacon was crispy just how we love it. While my wife was running a 10k in Montour Falls, I snuck away and ran myself down to the donut shop (I think my idea was better haha). Food: I ended up getting three donuts for the long weekend: long john, apple cinnamon, and apple cider. All three were exceptional, but it was my first time having a long john donut and I was very impressed. Service: The young lady working the counter definitely didn't seem like she wanted to be there, but she was cordial and helped out. Our breakfast ordered were 2 eggs over easy with sausage and whole wheat toast. Also rye bread with omelet with sausage and swiss cheese. The food was excellent. Walked in to get a donut to go on a Friday morning. Loved the diner vibe. The cashier was super friendly and helpful in helping me choose a flavor. Though they didn't have a ton of donuts on display, there were plenty of the Bizmarks, which I wanted to try and the cashier highly recommended. So glad I got it! It was like a cinnamon roll, but with a more doughy and moist texture. I washed it down with a black coffee. Can't wait to come back to try more flavors! read more

We had breakfast here on a Friday morning. The place was busy people coming and going. We sat down and had bacon eggs home fries and toast. We asked for eggs over hard and got undercooked eggs. I'm ok with it but the wife. The home fries were cooked crispy and had a lot of crunch. It was a little bit oily but we liked it. We got a couple of donuts for the road and they were very very good! We were here on a weekday morning and 3/4 of the booths were full with what seemed to be a mix of locals and visitors, which speaks to the quality and fame of the establishment. Their donut selection was broad and delicious. Boasting of their homemade recipes, the waitress told me her favourite was the "Bismark"-labeled cinnamon roll. They were happy to warm it up for me and every bite was soft, laced with the perfect level of cinnamon and frosting, heavenly! Would highly recommend! Their breakfast offerings were classic and simple with variations of eggs, seasoned home fries, your choice of sausage/bacon/ham and/or omlettes. I had the #3 with 2x over easy eggs, 3x sausage links and complementary buttered sourdough toast. Everything was clearly freshly made on the grill and perfectly hit the spot. Our coffees came with refills that the waitress, although busy tending to other tables, attended to promptly. First off, the ambience of the restaurant is very busy, but don't worry about not being served because the service was very impressive with the super busy atmosphere. I got water with the Ham and Eggs, which comes with scrambled hash browns, toast of your choice, ham steak and eggs (which I chose scrambled.) All the food I can recommend, the hash browns and eggs with some salt, and the ham steak were nice for an early breakfast combination. Cute little donut shop off the main strip but close walking distance! This place has sit-down dining and takeout but the takeout area is in the middle of the sit-down dining. My husband and I sat down at one of the tables after placing our order, thinking it was just a place to sit down rather than a dining table for service. We were embarassed when we realized it but it was an easy mistake with the setup of the shop. The donut displays offer all of your regular donut favorites and they are decent sized. Jelly, cream, powdered, peanut sticks, glazed, cinnamon rolls, etc. They offer $5 take out sandwiches where you can decide which bread, cheese and meat you want on it. It's a delicious home made sandwich and would highly recommend it! They made them quickly and sent you on your way. My biggest complaint was the lack of specialty coffee choices.
