$.32 cup is what I will call this review. Bad service. I moved to this area and I'm typically a Starbucks person I started going to Dunkin because I like the coffee taste and it is closer to my house than Starbucks however, at Starbucks, the pup cups are free and also the quality of coffee and service is the same and a cup of water is free. Remember this later when I write this review , I went to Duncan today and ordered through the drive-through an iced coffee with a pup cup. That was free and the pup cupcake with a nice bone in it. My dog and I had just went on a walk and I was out of water for him and he was overheating. I pulled into the driveway and went into Dunkin and asked them for a cup in which I could fill up with water in the bathroom because my dog was overheating. The lady upfront said it will have to be $.32 I just can't give you a cup that was shocking to me as I've always had spotty service at each Dunkin. She also said I had to make a purchase and I did at the drive thru. I would've went to Starbucks, I would've had a cup and a full cup of water for free a pup cup itself cost more than $.32 and I could've just asked for a free pup cup, but then they decided that they wouldn't even give me a cup for my overheating dog. I understand money. I understand that everyone has to make a profit but when does profit overlap human kindness and also emergency situations in the end I could've went to Starbucks and got a cup of water and my coffee and a pup cup for free due to this service. I will not be back to Duncan. I will continue to go to Starbucks for my service excellent service. Sometimes you got to think about the human and service. read more

We were hesitant to stop here on our trip after seeing the reviews for this location, but we were very satisfied with our food (donuts and breakfast sandwich) and coffee (chocolate hazelnut truffle iced coffee)! This is a place to go get coffee and nothing else. They do not know how to cook actual food. The food I got was either burnt to a crisp or was so chewy that it was an edible. And don't even bother asking for hash browns because you're only going to get 4 burnt hash browns. Absolutely horrible place to go for breakfast. I am a big fan of Dunkin' Donuts in general. The donuts that I bought from this location were soggy and just "off". We ate them, but they were just "meh". They barely had any donuts in stock when we were there. It took them over 10 minutes to make my coffee. I ordered a cappuccino, which I guess is somewhat exotic in Lexington, but even a regular cup of joe would have taken the same amount of time. The kicker was that they gave me a small and I ordered a medium. At that point, I just took it and didn't say anything. I didn't have another 10 minutes to wait. Absolutely horrible location. I've been a few times and both inside and drive-through lines go extremely slow. The fact that you can only exit the parking lot after going through a bit of the drive-through doesn't help. Anyway, one time I went in to order a coffee and a few donuts for my brother, and they said they were all out of coffee or something to that effect. It was no big deal to me, I understood because I work fast food and experience machines going down all the time. However, I was at school and someone in my class was drinking the EXACT drink that I tried ordering. They simply didn't feel like serving me the coffee at that specific time. My girlfriend also recently went and they were out of DONUTS! A Dunkin was out of DONUTS. That's like a Burger King being out of burger patties, or a Chick-Fil-A being out of filets. I pulled up and went to the front door only to find it locked, no sign or explanation, just a locked door. I tapped on it and an employee inside shrugged his shoulders and waves me around to the drive thru. When I am in line at the drive thru the employee, Byron, I believe stepped out the back door to see how many cars were in line. I said to him they should have a sign on the front door if it's not going to be opened so people don't waste time walking up to it to find out it's locked. This morning I go to get coffee and all the employees are standing outside. I guess their manager wasn't there yet. I believe they open at 5am it was 6am when I got there. When this store opened a couple years ago the service was terrible, since then they have gone thru numerous employees and managers. Then the store starting looking clean and they had nice employees who cared about giving you good service. That manager left. This one they have now I went there on a Saturday morning it was 7am and the front door was locked. You had to go thru the drive up because she was alone. Really!!! I left. It seems like when I go for my coffee in the morning this manager is out talking on her phone and smoking.
