If you've read any of my reviews from time to time, you know that I frequent Starbucks pretty often…read morefor breakfast and to grab a coffee in the afternoon. So I've had my fair share of checking out Starbucks and seeing which ones are up to snuff. This one was a pleasant surprise, although it took a little while for me to finally find it, it was definitely worth the drive. The place was super spotless, everything was clean, and the people behind the counter were warm and friendly. This particular Starbucks had a pretty happening drive-thru, although not a lot of people inside, the drive-thru was buzzing consistently. Everyone behind the counter seemed to have everything in check, as product was moving fast and furious, while still maintaining a personal touch. I got my coffee in standard amount of time, and the person who handed it to me was warm, friendly, gave me a big smile and said have a nice day. That means everything! Bottom line? I've said it before and I'll say it again, a Starbucks is only as good as the people working at it. If you're ever out in this area, I would highly recommend checking this place out.

Very disappointed with the customer service at the Starbucks off the Marana exit. My daughter…read morestopped in simply to ask for a cup of ice water and was told she couldn't have one because she hadn't purchased anything. We are both loyal Starbucks customers and regularly purchase coffee at Starbucks locations. I completely understand that businesses need to make money, but turning down a simple cup of water felt unnecessary and unwelcoming. It's not about the cost of the water it's about the customer service and the way the situation was handled. Definitely not the experience I expect from Starbucks.

This ain't no fancy bistro cafe. Let's get that straight…read more The day we visited there was a live cattle auction happening in the same building which I thought was cool & added to the authentic country charm. If you were wondering, the smell of cows was NOT perceptible even by my extra good sniffer. Probably because of the auction, combined with great reviews - the place was packed with cowboys/girls & farmers along with a mix of other diners. Young, old, hip, not hip, all getting along in there. Wait staff was busy as could be, but kindly took our order & served our dishes while they were still piping hot which is a pet peeve when it's not. Menu had gluten free and vegetarian options which I didn't expect but did think was smart & I'll def try one of them next time I eat here. Lots of choices for everyone. Prices were the usual for this economy ($15+ person entree, excluding beverage or spendier stuff like steak). The place smelled like a good diner ought to: sizzling fragrance of thick bacon & burgers, scent of fresh coffee, toasted breads & perfectly cooked eggs. I ordered the Breakfast Torta, a SW twist on a bfast sammy - egg, bacon, tomato with gorgeous & plentiful avocado atop a thick smear of housemade refried beans. All packed into the freshest torta bread I've eaten anywhere. My husband had the chicken fried steak breakfast with crispy house potatoes. They serve Pepsi products so hubs had a big glass of chocolate milk (nice sized!) and I had water & a side of fruit. Golly! The portions were generous and whoever is cooking clearly knows what they're doing cause I could taste the love in every bite. (Even the bites of not-my-entree under the guise of needing to review his plate, too!). The chicken fried steak was perfectly seasoned, inside and out and the thickish gravy had a zest to it which really made the dish extra good. I was pleasantly surprised that the home fries were perfectly crisp. Usually it's the side dishes at many cafes that I find a real let down. Not here. Start to finish, everything was dinerliciously great. Five stars for executing country cafe food without cutting corners. Had enough to enjoy some for next days' lunch. It is a down home country cafe & deserves all the stars. Yeehaw!

The wait for a party of five on Father's Day was about 45 minutes. The food was delicious and our dads and family were loving it. My dad and I wanted to share two dishes and Christina was kind enough to make a note to have both split. We ordered the Chorizo Rancheros and the French Toast. It was great that they were able to split it because we both got to taste everything. The portions were very filling. On their specials menu they had an iced lavender drink and they also had iced chai. My dad ordered the iced lavender which had more of a coffee flavor. They can add extra lavender upon request although it is a syrup so the sweetness increases. I ordered the iced chai and asked if they could add some lavender to it. It tasted more like horchata than chai but it was still tasty. I added some creamers and enjoyed it. The food was flavorful and filling and the atmosphere was family friendly. It would be nice if the outdoor seating had misters during the hotter months. We sat indoors but waited outside on the bench and the June heat was intense. I can empathize with the people eating outside in one 100 degree weather. The rest of the family enjoyed their meals as well. It was a lovely Father's Day breakfast!

I mentioned it to my waitress, she agreed that it was bad but didn't offer to take the undrinkable Dr Pepper off the bill. I paid $3.99 for it. If a restaurant doesn't care what the water tastes like, and they use it to cook, they really don't care about flavor and taste.
