Ventured out there for the first time and I was not disappointed. It was very busy, but our waitress took great care of us. Everyone else had breakfast, but I had a wrap. I had the bacon chicken wrap with ranch dressing and it was phenomenal. I wasn't even all that hungry but couldn't stop myself. I would highly recommend heading out there even if that's the only thing you eat. A true gem and you can look at the planes

Typically fly in for breakfast, which is always great, but choose lunch today. Had the Reuben and it was amazing! Staff is always nice and the aircraft are cool to see. Old school diner. Oh yeah, you do not have to fly here. LOL!

Let's get that straight…read more The day we visited there was a live cattle auction happening in the same building which I thought was cool & added to the authentic country charm. If you were wondering, the smell of cows was NOT perceptible even by my extra good sniffer. Probably because of the auction, combined with great reviews - the place was packed with cowboys/girls & farmers along with a mix of other diners. Young, old, hip, not hip, all getting along in there. Wait staff was busy as could be, but kindly took our order & served our dishes while they were still piping hot which is a pet peeve when it's not. Menu had gluten free and vegetarian options which I didn't expect but did think was smart & I'll def try one of them next time I eat here. Lots of choices for everyone. Prices were the usual for this economy ($15+ person entree, excluding beverage or spendier stuff like steak). The place smelled like a good diner ought to: sizzling fragrance of thick bacon & burgers, scent of fresh coffee, toasted breads & perfectly cooked eggs. I ordered the Breakfast Torta, a SW twist on a bfast sammy - egg, bacon, tomato with gorgeous & plentiful avocado atop a thick smear of housemade refried beans. All packed into the freshest torta bread I've eaten anywhere. My husband had the chicken fried steak breakfast with crispy house potatoes. They serve Pepsi products so hubs had a big glass of chocolate milk (nice sized!) and I had water & a side of fruit. Golly! The portions were generous and whoever is cooking clearly knows what they're doing cause I could taste the love in every bite. (Even the bites of not-my-entree under the guise of needing to review his plate, too!). The chicken fried steak was perfectly seasoned, inside and out and the thickish gravy had a zest to it which really made the dish extra good. I was pleasantly surprised that the home fries were perfectly crisp. Usually it's the side dishes at many cafes that I find a real let down. Not here. Start to finish, everything was dinerliciously great. Five stars for executing country cafe food without cutting corners. Had enough to enjoy some for next days' lunch. It is a down home country cafe & deserves all the stars. Yeehaw!

My apologies to the readers, I forgot to take pictures of my biscuits and gravy, with a side of scrambled eggs, but they were prepared excellently, with a sausage gravy that was flavorful but not overwhelming. A biscuit that was light but dense enough to hold the gravy. My eggs were scrambled but still moist. My lack drip coffee was refilled more than once, hot, and had a robust balanced flavor. My guest really enjoyed their Eggs Benedict, and they were delighted that the staff even accommodated a special request to cut their food into bite sized pieces, due to a physical disability. When the cut up eggs Benedict was served, it looked clean, planned, and professional. The kitchen's pride in presentation was clear to see, even when accommodating a special request. So, if you are contemplating breakfast and looking for something comfortable, simple and well worth the price, you will be hard pressed to find better than Just Breakfast on Silverbell.

So I've had my fair share of checking out Starbucks and seeing which ones are up to snuff. This one was a pleasant surprise, although it took a little while for me to finally find it, it was definitely worth the drive. The place was super spotless, everything was clean, and the people behind the counter were warm and friendly. This particular Starbucks had a pretty happening drive-thru, although not a lot of people inside, the drive-thru was buzzing consistently. Everyone behind the counter seemed to have everything in check, as product was moving fast and furious, while still maintaining a personal touch. I got my coffee in standard amount of time, and the person who handed it to me was warm, friendly, gave me a big smile and said have a nice day. That means everything! Bottom line? I've said it before and I'll say it again, a Starbucks is only as good as the people working at it. If you're ever out in this area, I would highly recommend checking this place out.

The wait for a party of five on Father's Day was about 45 minutes. The food was delicious and our dads and family were loving it. My dad and I wanted to share two dishes and Christina was kind enough to make a note to have both split. We ordered the Chorizo Rancheros and the French Toast. It was great that they were able to split it because we both got to taste everything. The portions were very filling. On their specials menu they had an iced lavender drink and they also had iced chai. My dad ordered the iced lavender which had more of a coffee flavor. They can add extra lavender upon request although it is a syrup so the sweetness increases. I ordered the iced chai and asked if they could add some lavender to it. It tasted more like horchata than chai but it was still tasty. I added some creamers and enjoyed it. The food was flavorful and filling and the atmosphere was family friendly. It would be nice if the outdoor seating had misters during the hotter months. We sat indoors but waited outside on the bench and the June heat was intense. I can empathize with the people eating outside in one 100 degree weather. The rest of the family enjoyed their meals as well. It was a lovely Father's Day breakfast!
