Went for breakfast on a Sunday. Ate in. Friendly staff and the space is clean enough to dine in.

Unfortunately there was a spill left on the floor from a previous guest. Unfortunately they don't fill cups to the top they leave a gap for their profit. Unfortunately old coffee stain on counter. Unfortunately Bathroom had a band aid on counter. Unfortunately we asked for sprinkled donut and got plain Unfortunately somebody forgot to clean garbage pail for a few months. Unfortunately they forgot to clean patio It is unfortunate because they smile and are nice. Lost a star. I told them about spill and they don't care.

What is this exactly? Certainly not an iced dark roast with a splash of skim milk. This is water with a splash of coffee. Ridiculous!

When I left Dunkin my chai was filled with foam and then when I got to the office 10 minutes later this is how it looked. Not okay!!

I guess you can say it's a combination of all of these, but if you look at the owners pictures, you weren't sure what you are walking into, because all his pictures are stock photos of what he is selling and you don't actually see the actual store inside and items sold. In a nutshell, Concept Sweet sells what ever the owner wants - ice cream, candy, sweets (some savory), and a variety of cute instagrammable merchandise . The description is very basic, but when you walk into the shop, you see there is much more than that! The ice cream can be served in many different ways. A variety of flavored scoops in a cup, scoop(s) on a cone, on a flavored cone, on a J cone, as ice cream nachos, as Dole whip, on a hot waffle, with or without toppings, with or without accessories, shaped like sushi, as spaghetti, shaped like pizza, etc. It's crazy, I know. They also sell ices, push pops, cake pops, Du's Donuts, chocolates, candies, cookies, cupcakes, and cute merchandise to make a parties more fun. I'm sure I missed something...just look at the Yelp pictures and you can see the 500+ pics the owner posted! There are the usual candies and chocolates you will find at many convenient stores. What's cool about Concept Sweet is that there are many unique sweets you won't find easily locally, such as Pocket Latte Chocolate bars, Pac man Arcade Candy, and Gumby Gummy candy. The owner has put so many unique sweets into this store! This includes the beverages (check out my pics). Another example are donuts from Du's Donuts in Brooklyn, NY., owned by the famous Wylie Dufresne. I actually came in looking to buy these! I purchased 4 Du's Donuts: the lemon matcha, coffee cake, chocolate caramel brownie, and blueberry crumble. I thought they tasted pretty good, but they are not that much better than a Duck Donuts or Broad Street Dough which are priced lower per specialty donut. While we were there, my daughter also ordered a plain scoop of pumpkin ice cream and she said she liked it. Despite the pricing of Du's Donuts, I like Concept Sweet and its er, concept. I didn''t really notice the price after purchasing, but I'm estimating over a couple bucks per - closer to three bucks. There are cheaper donuts but you'd have to drive further to get a specialty donut, especially Du's which is located in Williamburg, Brooklyn! I'm not sure when they get the donuts but they didn't taste stale at all. They even had Halloween donuts available. I'd like to see Concept sweets do well as it seems like the owner is really putting it all into his business. It's a fun store with many unique items. See for yourself!

I decided I wanted to treat myself to a little cake. I usually visit a local bakery for cakes, mini desserts, and cannolis. It's generally pretty good, although it can be a bit hit or miss depending on what you order. While searching online for bakeries nearby, this place came up with stellar reviews. I was surprised to see it was only about an 11-minute drive from my house, so I decided to make the trip. The bakery was set up much like a classic neighborhood bakery, with beautiful cakes displayed along one side and cases filled with mini desserts, pastries, cookies, and cannolis. While chatting with the staff, I mentioned the bakery I usually go to. That's when they told me that bakery actually gets its cakes from Normandie. I found that fascinating because I had always assumed every bakery made its own cakes from scratch. Suddenly, a lot made sense. I had originally planned on buying a small birthday cake, but since it was only for two people, I decided to put together an assortment of mini desserts instead. I picked up tiramisu, carrot cake, lemon cake, and several other mini cakes. Every single one was outstanding. Not one dessert missed the mark. The carrot cake was moist, the tiramisu was perfectly balanced, and the lemon cake was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh, high-quality, and thoughtfully made. The minis were slightly smaller than the ones I'm used to buying elsewhere, but honestly, they were the perfect size. Now that I know where those cakes are actually coming from, I'll happily make the extra 11-minute drive and buy directly from the source. This will absolutely be my new go-to bakery for birthdays, special occasions, and hostess gifts. A wonderful birthday discovery that turned into finding my new favorite bakery.

Hi, I wanted to…read moreextend a special thank you to Jessie and Riley at your Old Bridge, NJ location for providing such outstanding customer service. They are always so friendly, kind, and incredibly helpful. During our last visit, my 9-year-old daughter had lots of questions about your delicious cakes, and Jessie and Riley took the time to answer each one with patience and enthusiasm. They made her feel so special, and it truly made our visit memorable. Because of experiences like that, my daughter is always asking me to take her back! We both love everything about your restaurant--from the amazing food and desserts to the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Employees like Jessie and Riley are a big part of why we keep coming back. Please pass along our sincere appreciation for the exceptional service they provide. They are wonderful representatives of your team! Warmly, Angela & Melissa L.

Today we came here after our daughter's graduation from preschool to let her pick out a pastry for herself. This spot is great to try out new things that you otherwise wouldn't have tried. I had a croissant a few months ago that usually is a mini croissant filled with some type of lemon custard cream with strawberries on it. It's usually in the display with the savory foods (sandwiches etc). Whatever that lemon custard cream is that they use in those is so good but those croissants are so small. I asked someone at the front if they could help me with finding something else that uses the same lemon custard and she showed me a few options. So happy I picked that purple donut pictured, it was so delicious. I highly recommend anything with that lemon custard in it. It reminds me of this lemon cream cheese icing my mother used to make for lemon cake and it is so good, but this was 10x better. All of the fruit on the pastries is always perfect. The best strawberry and blueberry quality and ripeness you could ask for (not tart at all). The employees are super kind, I feel like I'm always super self conscious going here because we always decide last second before I get ready for the day and I'm always ready to be judged by everyone I encounter for how I look , but everyone has always been super sweet here and always interacts with our daughter as well and makes it a fun experience for her. So refreshing to encounter kind people in NJ. As for everything else, I'm more of an espresso/super strong coffee person, and I usually prefer getting coffee across the parking lot at Gregory's and then eating Paris baguette's pastries with it. Paris baguette's coffee is maybe like a 7 in my personal opinion. Still an amazing spot though. I haven't tried their baguettes, and I know that's the entire point of this spot, but wow, their pastries are enough to never try anything else .
