I had seen the sign for Golden Hands and decided that's where we would go! It did NOT disappoint! The kids went for the normal glazed (but twist not a circle donut!) and vanilla with sprinkles. I wanted to try one of the many others. I tried something different so I sprung for the strawberry with banana cream. I'm not a huge banana fan but oh my goodness this was amazing! The service was impeccable. I love supporting small businesses. It's definitely got a warmth and charm that is missing from the big box places. I cannot wait to come back again!

I personally love the blueberry fritters - They are huge and layers of blueberry yet they are only 3 bucks (that's so cheap). The strawberry cheese pastry was also delicious and flaky. The only thing I ordered that I wasn't a huge fan of was the pretzel - it was big and the price was right but it didn't taste better than a wawa pretzel twist. The donuts also come warm since the case seems to be a warming case which is a nice touch. The workers are so nice and they will explain every flavor to you if needed since there are no labels. The place is small and so is the parking lot.

I ended up leaving with two peach fry pies, a loaf of cheddar jalapeño bread, and a glazed donut. My wife chose one of their giant fresh-baked pretzels with cream cheese. It was served warm and was absolutely delicious. Then I dug into the glazed donut, and wow--light, fluffy, and it practically melted in my mouth. This was our first visit, but there's no doubt we'll be back. In fact, I can easily see us becoming regulars. A quick heads-up: they accept cash or checks, but no credit cards, so plan accordingly. Country Crust also has a cute little café area where they serve pizzas and sandwiches. From what I saw, those sandwiches were absolutely ginormous.
