WORST DUNKIN IN GREATER NEW CASTLE AREA. This Wilmington Road Dunkin may be the most recently remodeled and given a second drive-thru window, but looks are certainly deceiving. Terrible on-site managers, miserable employees, SLOWEST customer service around, despite having multiple staff members. You'd think they would have been taught to use the second drive-thru window, especially during peak morning hours. Sad, pathetic service. They never give you napkins nor fill your drinks to the top of the cup. Go to the North Mill Street location for far better service & much nicer employees & managers. read more

I go to this Dunkin a lot as it is close and I love my coffee in the morning but not anymore. I went through the drive through and ordered my drink and got my money ready to pay and when I got up to the window the girl in the window told me the total and I gave her the money. She asked if I wanted a receipt and I said no and she said then pull forward she didn't say hi or anything no thank you or have a nice day nothing like that. I'm not asking for people to go out of their way to be nice but you do not need to be rude to your customers as they are the ones keeping the place in business and paying you. The drive thru at this location is super busy during prime times making the parking lot difficult. So since I only go only a week for girls coffee break, it's during an off peak time and I use the app so I can't comment to slow service. To their credit, my orders are always ready when I get there and they are made to my specifications. Hint: if it's the time of year when Brusters is closed, save yourself the headache, park there and walk next door. I come here all the time. I get the same thing every time. Most times they get it right but sometimes people are just lazy and don't take the time to give me what I ask for. I ordered a peach refresher, and a multigrain bagel with cream cheese. They gave me strawberry instead of peach, and my bagel was not toasted, not cut, and there was no cream cheese. I'm being polite by waiting til the 17th time my order was wrong to write this. I also have heard from other family members, co-workers and friends which have experienced the same bad issues; wrong items - wrong order. Let's start with the pull-up order. 1) Each worker should go to Starbucks and Chick-fil-A and listen to how one greets a customer at the mic. Please, thank you, you're welcome, can I are all words I never heard except once in months and I was sure to tell two workers at the window "great job". 2) I have watched times when 5, 6 or even 7 cars are waiting for items or complete order and are told to pull up. The problem is there is only so much room and space so cars are everywhere. Here is an idea for you. Someone who sees the customer (camera at mic so that's one person and physical viewing of the customer at the window is the second person) needs to say or print on order slip; black car - four door. Or red SUV - ford... Something to help your runners. Even that is better than two runners going car to car to car asking "did you order the 3 wraps and 3 hash browns?". Is that new to you? To the customer it is frustrating, cold, unprofessional, and a terrible method, at best. 3) Can you get the orders right? Asking for no cheese on a egg white flat bread is not hard so why is it wrong! Asking for black and getting cream and sugar instead is frustrating! Ordering 4 items, coming up to the window - getting the order, asking if that is everything and having the worker say yes (no thank you again) then leaving and getting home to realize the hash browns are missing and I was charged for them, is super unprofessional and angering! This has happened over and over. Not kidding...17 times in a half of year (6 months). Terrible 4) when the order is wrong, I have come in and no one apologizes. Where is the simple, "we are so sorry". I have not heard that (3 times taking back wrong order). They treat you like "why are you bring back this order". Is that a new service technique that after 29 years in business I just maybe haven't seen? 5) when they hand the order, "thank you, hope you enjoy". Or "thank you, please stop again". Or "thank you, have a good day" would work. As a customer, you are lucky to hear "here is your change". Learn, educate, set the expectation, practice, train, measure it (their work), then train again. I know as an owner it is easy to say, our numbers are great, this guy is crazy. We are always busy so this guy doesn't know shit. It's a hard job, what does he know. We are profiting so who cares. A real Business person (owner and manager(s)) would know that DD has a great brand your location covers the masses, and no competition are your only saving grace! If you don't like reading this, change it or maybe HQ would like to hear that a long-time franchisee is not up to par. I can always reach out to them or regional. Get busy! Get improving! Some day your complacency will hurt you. If Starbucks doesn't do it first. FYI: A 2 star is being kind. read more

This place barely deserves the 1 1/2 star rating. My granddaughter and I went through the drive thru this morning and ordered 2 frozen hot chocolates. The worker asked if we wanted whipped cream. Answered yes. Was charged $8.46 for 2 hot chocolates pulled ahead because they weren't ready. The girl brought them out, mine was dripping down the side, no straws, no napkins, and when I just looked at her, she said do you want napkins?? She gave me used napkins she was using to clean HER hands!!! I had to back up into the drive thru window to ask for the whipped cream, straws and napkins. The guy said we can give you whipped cream... it was supposed to be on it!! Rant over... done with this place. They're always rude. I've worked in restaurants and healthcare. We Love Dunkin ' Donuts go there just about everyday. The only problem we find is, we need one in Union Township in New Castle, PA. it is hard to get there and back to take the kids to school and they love your ice coffees and want them before school, after school and before a school function. We also have two hotels up here and some people ask where there is one and it is out of the way for them to get back on 376 to get to the turnpike. Please see if you can please accommodate us also. read more

Love the coffee!!! The best!! Love their bagels and muffins. But they screw up my coffee every time I go there. I had to stop. All I ordered was a coffee with cream and sugar. With a little bit of ice. And it was screwed up every single time. Terrible management and service. There's only one girl who works there that could make a cup of coffee... So I prayed she was there when I went in the morning. If she wasn't... I knew I was getting junk!!! Stopped going entirely. Can't do it anymore. They Lost my business forever. Best coffee there is.
