The funny part is that Death of the Fox was actually my third choice that night. Two of my other planned stops were supposedly open according to Google Maps, but reality had other ideas. By the time we finally arrived, I was tired, cold, hungry, thirsty, and more than a little cranky. No sign selfie. Survival mode had kicked in. The second we walked in, everything changed. A wonderful young man was working behind the bar. A lovely couple was hanging out and enjoying the evening. The atmosphere was welcoming, relaxed, and exactly what I needed after my unexpected detour. The beers have great names, so naturally we ordered a flight... and then a couple more. Every beer seemed better than the last. I just watched th e video from our visit. I have to say, I was absolutely fantastic in it. The camera loves me. Let's be honest--that's the real story here. The men's room, which is the only one available to use, is unclean, which seems like a violation in a food establishment. It hasn't been busy when we've gone, so there's really no excuse for the only available bathroom to be in that state. My mom is a regular at Dunkin locations near her, and would be stopping here after my sister's, but the staff seem unconcerned and dismissive when she raised these issues, so she doesn't want to support this location. The staff has been rude, and the bathroom situation is unacceptable.

They want to re-ring me up, have me pay again, and say I'll get a refund (can't tell me when). I ask why they can't just give me the food I ordered without me paying again. I have my children in the car with me, so I am remaining cool and calm. The manager gets on and basically tells me, too bad, so sad. I either have to pay double for breakfast today or I'm out of luck. Thankfully, I have the money. But what if I only had $25 in my account and wanted to use that to buy my kids a special breakfast? Now I have to overdraw my account and take those fees because McD's messed up. I told them they should be ashamed of themselves and drove across the street to Dunkin'. I'm done. The food is garbage and the place is run by the equivalent of a brain-damaged marmot. This issue could have been resolved so simply, but the manager decided to not use the spongy mass between her ears that medical professionals might generously refer to as her brain and do the right thing.

I sat for more than 5 minutes figuring out what I wanted Mama Buntz was real sweet and the lady who was preparing at the station. I did see they had blueberry iced flavored so I chose that and regular donut flavors I would do. They were warm when I was handed the box. Stepped out and took my first bite of the Glazed and it was nice and moist inside really good and airy and fluffy! The price wasn't bad either for 6 donuts as well and delicious.
