If there was a 12 step program for ice cream addictions, this place would probably distract me from completing the course... Anyplace that still serves Richman's Ice Cream has my business whenever I can get there. Although I never have tried any, there's a menu full of good from the fryer and grill. The cheese fries must be a favorite since I saw a few orders being eaten on my way in. The ice cream prices are a bargain, and the serving size is enough to make you stuffed and looking forward to your next visit. They've been around for awhile, so its good to see a quality business still in the area.

Current menu, excluding ice cream & water ice

Best cheese fries EVER! Perfect amount of salt and super crispy to support the generous amount of gooey cheese Portion was generous for price - sized to share or it's a meal! Ice cream was also on point We tried cheesecake brownie (hand dipped) & salted caramel (soft serve). I LOVE that they are open year round too! Just arrive prepared with cash - or patience because their ATM takes a lil bit to approve and dispense your money lol Cash only No indoor seating No online menu available

Bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich, amazing!!

Apparently, they go through 15 gallons of it every week. More on that in a minute. I took my cheesesteak over to Death of the Fox Brewery. Why? Because the two breweries that were closer happened to be closed. Their loss, my gain. I love Death of the Fox, but that's a story for a separate review. First, I sampled the meat, cheese, and onions by themselves. Pretty darn tasty. Next, I tried a bite on the toasted garlic roll. Very pretty darn tasty. Then I added the habanero sauce. Now we're talking. Very, very pretty darn tasty. If you've followed my cheesesteak adventures for any length of time, you know I'm not exactly a hot sauce guy. I was expecting some serious heat, but I'd describe this as more of a sweet habanero with a pleasant kick. Best of all, I suffered no repercussions afterward--a minor miracle. The cheesesteak was excellent, the garlic roll added another layer of flavor, and the habanero sauce tied everything together. Honestly, I'm surprised Whit or Whitout doesn't get mentioned more often on social media. They deserve a lot more attention. Decor was all Philly!!

However, it was too early and they weren't selling the Philly cheesesteaks yet. Too bad! I'll have to try that next time in that airport. I was about to leave when I saw Taylor ham on the menu! This is something that is not served everywhere and kind of unique to the eastern USA, in my opinion. I mostly familiar with Taylor Ham, from my time in New York City. Anyway, I thought I would try it. I was thrilled to see my server, cooking up my fried eggs, freshly on the grill. He was quick and efficient. He seasoned them up perfectly. The cheese was melted all over the eggs, nice and gooey. That was placed on top of us thick Taylor ham slice. I did not expect that! I thought it would be a thin slice of Taylor ham. I think it's the saltines of the ham, but I really like. And the bun absolutely wonderfully soft. This was the perfect find at the Philadelphia airport! I hope I can get back there to try the Philly cheesesteak next time. The restaurant was clean. The service was fast. There's nowhere to sit, but you can find somewhere else within the airport to sit and enjoy your meal. I give this a solid five stars for airport food.
