The cortado had an unpleasant bitter aftertaste, like the espresso beans were overroasted. I did not realize the bread was gluten-free until I took a bite. The texture was good between the softness of the bread and the crunch of the pumpkin seeds, but didn't have the chai flavor I hoped for. I was asked if I wanted the bread warmed up and buttered so I said yes, not realizing the butter was an extra 75 cents until I checked my receipt. Feels like a bit much for a slice of bread that's already $6.75 (more than my cortado which was $4.50). On the more positive side, the shop is large and spacious with plenty of tables and chairs. There's a play area for children which is pretty cool if you have little ones with you. The ambiance is pretty unique since this is a repurposed garage. They seem very community-oriented with the event posting board at the entrance and the other local products for sale near the register.
