We loved the food and atmosphere - will be back! Great baked goods as well. Service was friendly.

Brewbakers is by far my favorite place in Keene. Relaxed atmosphere, great caffeinated (and non) drinks, food (baked goods, salads/sandwiches/small plates with vegetarian and vegan options), fast service. They also have live performances that looked interesting, and sell used vinyl. Parking can be a challenge during the day, although later in the day it wasn't much of an issue. Unlike usual coffee shops, Brewbakers is open until 7pm.

I am so disappointed. Two months since our last visit and the menu has been drastically reduced…read morewith the vegetarian options completely wiped off the menu (see image of the current menu below). Not a great place for vegans anymore, but I will give them credit for making adjustments to swap out meat for a goat cheese croquette. All the other vegetarian plates we enjoyed in December is no longer offered. There are a couple of sandwiches (both prepared with ham), but the menu does not explain that they are sandwiches. The food we had was good quality except for the Niçoise salad dressing, which had the overly sweet taste of bottled dressing. The Le Bistro Burger, I am told, had a lovely charbroiled flavor; combining it with the goat cheese croquette, chili-fig jam, and caramelized onions made it a delicious choice for one of my companions. The Salad Bavette was enormous and my companion who ordered it had to take the rest home (it filled the container!). The appetizer goat cheese croquette used to come with a small bed of arugula, but this time it did not. The last time, we couldn't get through the door and had to wait an hour for a table. Now, lunchtime on a gorgeous Saturday and there are only two other tables occupied. My initial disappointment aside, our server was very kind, empathetic, professional, and helpful. The ambience is still the same, which is pleasant. Special thanks again to our lovely server.

Bartender didn't impress. Not sure he was experienced. Give away was putting olives on martini containing grapefruit juice, not mention an even number of olives (bad luck). My partner had the short rib ravioli which was also excellent. We are whiskey/bourbon drinkers and the one thing that whiskey/burboun drinkers like in their old fashioned type drinks are single, large ice rocks and not the little broken ice chips that easily dilutes your drink. These are so easy to make yourself. Just buy an ice tray that makes them. The other thing whiskey/bourbon drinkers like in their drinks are the bourbon cherries and not just the plain maraschino cherries. Just two easy recommendations to elavate the experience. The staff was also very friendly.

The first thing we noticed when we walked in the door was that Christmas smacked us in the face with the best smelling Christmas Tree candle , burning in a super cute entryway. I could hardly wait to get inside to see what else this place had in store. First, there was a fireplace and a couch and a table. In the rest of the dining area, we're all high tops. Not so high that a barely over 5 foot person such as myself couldn't sit comfortably. Our waitstaff (there were two) and were great about offering menu suggestions when I shared flavor profiles I might be looking for and they were attentive and so pleasant. They had super cute Christmas decorations, and were putting up more while we were there. The vibe is super warm and welcoming, and for a short while you feel like you stepped back in time. The tiramisu martini was delicious, as was the blood orange martini. I had the cauliflower with juju sauce at the recommendation of the waitress, and it was honestly the best cauliflower I've ever had! My husband enjoyed his macaroni and cheese with buffalo and bleu as well. The owner/chef, Leslie, came and chatted with us for a little bit before we were on our way. We learned that in the summer they hold concerts, and they have a golf course. There is a distillery on site as well. Everything about this place was excellent, and we are already planning a day date to go back and try more menu items!

It's located in a little business section off the main road. We were at the eye place and decided to go there for dinner. BOY AM I GLAD WE DID! We got the chicken sliders to start - omg. Heaven. Lightly fried tenders on small brioche buns with perfect toppings. There were 3 of them standing tall on the tray, hot and delicious. We got an order of the mac n cheese to share - again, pure perfection. Homemade with the right hints of smoked Gouda, cream and topped with crumbs. I got the bourbon steak tips with mashed and asparagus done medium. If I could go back every week I would. The only down side is this place is in NH and we live in RI. That and the seats aren't comfortable at all. That's my only con. Food wise there are none. Zip. Zilch. The staff was nice and attentive without being overly so. Oh oh wait. Ok one other con. They don't have Bloody Marys. That's ok. I was more than happy to swan dive into the mac n cheese to chase my blues away. Go here. Eat everything. And enjoy! You won't be disappointed. Cheers!!

The drinks were good, but a little light on the pour considering the prices. Overall, it was a good experience, but we were somewhat disappointed when we got our bill. Everything was marked up by 3% if we used a credit card. Supposedly, this is in small print on the menu, but we failed to notice. I can't think of another restaurant that does this in the area and we go out to eat 4-5 times a week. It felt deceptive and like we got nickel and dimed after spending around $100. I won't say we won't be back, but didn't appreciate this tactic at all.

The ambiance was cozy and inviting, though our table was in the middle of the aisle which felt a bit cramped. Unfortunately, the service itself was inconsistent. We had to ask for bread three times. When we ordered two brownies and one coffee, we were brought one brownie and two coffees. At the end of the meal, we asked for both my meal and my son's meal to be wrapped to go. My son's plate was accidentally thrown away because other plates were stacked on top of it. When I asked about it, the server explained what happened but did not offer to remake it, remove it from the bill, or apologize, which was disappointing. That said, it was a busy Friday during Restaurant Week, so I would consider coming back and hope the service is smoother next time. While writing this review, I actually received a text from the restaurant letting me know we left our son's plate behind, which was thoughtful and appreciated. If Yelp allowed half stars, I would give 3.5.

Our server was equally delightful--friendly, attentive, and spot-on with recommendations. Now, the food: outstanding. We started with the beets and peas salad, which was bursting with flavor--our plates were practically licked clean. The house arugula salad was crisp, fresh, and perfectly balanced with a light, lemony vinaigrette. For mains, we shared the roasted half chicken and the bucatini. Both were phenomenal. I rarely order chicken at restaurants since it often feels too plain, but this one was perfection--crispy skin, juicy meat, and seasoning that carried through every bite. The bucatini, made with homemade pasta and loaded with crispy pancetta, was absolutely irresistible.
