I go to this dunks EVERY day sometimes even twice a day. MOST of the staff is very pleasant. And I like that with certain employees they know what I am going to have so I don't even have to say anything. But I went there this morning and as I am ordering my boyfriend and I are standing there waiting for our coffees and one of the employees is on our side of the counter wiping down the counter and nearly pushes us out of the way to clean where we were. I'm sorry but that is bad customer service, the least they could have said was "oh I'm sorry could u excuse me for a minute!" We found it rude! Beth and Cassandra are great tho! Super friendly with great customer service. Those two are pretty much the only reason I still come to this one. read more

I had a great breakfast with my wife July 22 at 6:40 am. The staff does very well moving the line along. They are very efficient, friendly with an admirable work ethic. My coffee was fresh, hot, great tasting. The owner deserves prosperity; good luck to them. The experience was somewhat spoiled by an "angry " lady . I suspect her rant was more drama than substance. Her drama never matched the expertise of Angie Dickenson of " Police Woman" Ms Dickenson was blessed with unmatched beauty and great acting skills. I'm happy she is still with us.. That angry lady certainly was without dramatic skills. It was an awful bore just listening to her. This location is a great place to have breakfast. I have been going to this Dunkin's for over 20 years . My only complaint is the parking lot! I usually order ahead and my order is always correct and ready when I arrive. The manager at this DD is HORRIBLE!! An angry man. Has NO customer service. No respect at all!!! Yells at customers and points his fingers at you in your face. Swears at you and calls you names. I come to this DD daily. Sometimes twice. The employees are nice but when he is there omg it's so different!! I can't believe this person is a manager at a place I love. I'll never ever go there again. His rage is scary. I feel sorry for his employees because they are kind people. I've been doing to DD for 25 years. I've never seen a manager yell across the room at customers in front of other customers. It was degrading and embarrassing. I asked him to please speak to me like I'm a human and he continued to yell. His employee pushed his arm (finger pointing) out of the way and he pushed her hand out of the way stating "I don't care about them. I won't stop. They're trash. We don't need them. Fucking idiots". Perhaps the worst Dunkin' Donuts in the area. The Customer Service is poor, there is no communication when in line as I waited at 1 register while both dd employees stood at the 2nd register. Well, a line started behind me and no communication from either dd employee. It wasn't until someone moved over to the 2nd register did they begin to take your order. Might be best to teach employees at the dd to acknowledge instead of looking away. Horrible customer service. I walked in and waited at the counter for 5 minutes without even being greeted by an employee. There were 3 people working. You'd think one of them could at least say "we will be with you shortly". I walked out without even placing an order and was late to work thanks to this. Not a good Dunkin donuts. No communication or organization. Waited in the wrong line apparently as they had two registers but no clear indication as to who was taking care of orders. I frequent many Dunkin Donuts and often have good experiences, and you can find them in my reviews. But this one -- it just wasn't meant to be. The cashier and coffee service - that was good, fast. But the sandwich process was downright terrible. The person making the sandwiches only made one at a time. The person in front of me had a problem with their order, and it took a few minutes to correct it. But then came my sandwich -- a Turkey Sausage on a croissant. I took the order in the bag and when I got to my office, it was a Croissant toasted with cream cheese. As I said, I go to many Dunkins - and daily, if not more than once a day! So my experiences are very good usually, but my experience here is if you want a sandwich, go elsewhere. Even another Dunkin Donuts. But not this one. read more

I guess I have just been really lucky and going at the right time... because based on the other reviews I am very much in the minority in regards to my pleasant experiences here. This is one of two Dunkin Donuts I frequent on my way to work, and I tend to go to this one more because MAN are they efficient! There are times when I pull up and it will be PACKED and I'll assume it'll make me late to work. However, I have never ever been in there for longer than 5 or 6 minutes, even when I have ordered their 'hot' food (don't do it - it sucks). All their hot food is terrible that I have tried, but I don't blame them, since after all, they don't decide what they serve. But in regards to service at this particular location, I have never had anything less than awesome. I appreciate this 24 hour joint but the hours also make it the sketchiest place in Waltham... a town already maxed out on sketchiness. Dirty, weird men like to jeer and yell at you as you place your order and homeless people sleep on the stoop. Two stars for being fast...yes they move things along very well and that deserves some credit. But...the percentage of orders that come out wrong is way too high. Parking is a huge problem, for the lot is too small to accommodate the number of people patronizing this location, especially during the morning. I have to wonder how the design for this place made it through the local Zoning Board. There is a tiny opening on Main Street and an equally small exit. Both are one-way, so it's tough to get in and out. Prices are, on average, slightly higher than other DD's. If you really need to get your coffee/muffin/donut fix from Dunkin's, my suggestion would be to visit the Commonwealth Ave. location in Auburndale or make the trip to Mt. Auburn Street in Watertown. read more

Horrible experience today, go in to get a a coffee and a sandwich and they are cleaning the ceiling with chemicals at 4:00 the chemicals were falling down on the the food and coffees. Absolutely disgusting. Never Going to this dunkins again the one across from the police station is probably the best in waltham. Also there's always creepy people hanging around out front. read more

Yes this is a 24 hour dunkin's. But really, as a TV show would say, nothing good happens after 2am. So if you're going here at 2:30am, be drunk, stoned, or like me a night owl because everyone you're around will be. The coffee is rarely burnt, even at the early morning hours. The food's okay, no better no worse than any other Dunk's. I've never really had a bad experience here, can't say I've had a great one either. During daylight hours I'll pass this one on my way to either the DD's by the courthouse or down Lexington st. But at 2 am, those aren't open, so this is the best 2am option around.... not that, that's saying much. Oh and the parking lot sucks, always feel like I'm going to back into the idiot waiting for my spot, 2 feet from my bumper. And there is no drive thru. read more

Typical Dunks. Nothing special about it, nothing bad to say. It's generally pretty busy when I go, and the parking lot fills up quick, which can be a pain in the ass. I'm not the biggest fan of DD, but this location is on my way to class, so I stop in for a hot coffee in the morning. The staff are friendly & efficient, and you never have to wait more than a couple of minutes for your coffee. I do have to say though, the other patrons (some, not all) are very rude to the point of being aggressive. This Dunkins is closest to my house, however I avoid it at all costs. I'm not sure what is wrong with this location but every single bagel or donut I have ever gotten from here has been completely STALE! By far the fastest, and most accurate Dunks I have ever been to. Its true that even though it can get packed, they have their service down to a system, you'll be out in just minutes. I can be confident that when I go in I'll be out in under 5 minutes. I change my orders from day to day, and they get every single one of them right! Parking? Not an issue. There are plenty of street spots and enough spaces in the lot to run in for a couple minutes. All the attendants look to help you and don't spend any time waiting. They are on point. I truly believe that not having a drive thru makes them be able to focus more on the the face to face interaction and not the bottleneck of a window. Great job! read more

I frequent his Dunkin Donuts almost every day but today I had the most awful service. As I was telling the girl behind the counter my order, she WALKED AWAY as I was speaking to start making my coffee that I had not finished ordering. When she gave it to me, I noticed it looked very light, I tasted it and kindly asked her to please add more coffee. She proceeded to roll her eyes at me, add a splash of coffee, and rudely hand me my drink back. I basically paid for a medium cup of skim milk. I just dumped the entire thing. I will be calling a manager and complaining for this horrendous service. She actually made me feel bad for asking for more coffee. read more

I have been to many DD locations, this is the only one that is very sketchy. The food and drink are okay, not great. I was given old coffee that was sitting in a cup underneath the coffee machine once which I did not like. I thought it was kind of messed up as I'm there for fresh coffee not stale coffee. This is the only one where there is a sign posted that says something lto the extent of "Please limit your visit to 30 minutes to be considerate of other customers" I do not think any of the regulars follow this rules because every single seat is alway taken and it looks like the people there have been sitting there all day. There are some really sketchy people there that hang around all day. If you can get past that, its an okay place just very awkward. read more
