I ordered a 4 pack of mochidonuts, and also ordered 2 drinks, I looked up the menu prior to going there and they lady that was watching did not know those drinks and they don't even offer some of it. I was kind of disappointed at that since I was expecting so much more. The mochi donuts I got was also ok, I would say I've had better donuts. The drinks were too sweet. I barely even dranked mine.

Chandeliers that have to harken back to much older tenants in this space. The food is good, I had a ham egg and cheese on croissant and it was wonderful. The croissant was surprisingly fresh. The cappuccino was rounded and smooth and didn't taste at all burnt. Service was ok. Polite but not engaging, my cappuccino was forgotten entirely and I had to ask for it again but it was then made promptly. Regulars that came in behind me had a completely different experience. Service was bright and engaging for them. Again, there was nothing BAD about my service, it was just milquetoast and the baristas seemed disinterested. This is definitely a place where people come and linger and there were folks sprawled about the sofas and typing away at the tables. If I lived in Waltham, I's probably make it a staple in my routine. But I did not linger long, I ate my sandwich, sipped half my coffee and took the rest on my way. I have a feeling this is the kind of place that just grows on you overtime, that said, if you need a coffee or tea and a snack on your way, this may be worth a stop.

Coffee: it's rare to find coffee that is good enough to drink black. That said, George Howell's drip coffees, pour overs, and espressos are arguably best enjoyed black. Not to say they aren't delicious with milk - they super are - they are just also easily enjoyed sans milk. The flavors are always balanced and clean. The iced coffee and cold brew is also amazing AND they have decaf cold brew The espresso beverages are amazing - cortado, cappuccino, latte.. yum. All of which can also be decaf or half caf. The syrups are all so, so good (and made in house!). A half-lavender oat milk latte is **chef's kiss** Tea: the tea is also super good (MEM Tea, from Cambridge, MA).
