Drive Thru-Only when half of PA residents are "practically" (not all) anti-maskers. The one previous time I visited PA during pandemic just about every establishment I went into had about 1/4 the customers without masks. I'm vaccinated so I roam around less worried although not completely oblivious. I wanted to go into Double D to see what donut selections they had and also since I was traveling from NYS I needed a bio break. To my dissatisfaction this place was drive-thru only so while dancing outside their door because I did have to use the bathroom I decided this was going to be an emotional review. I did dance my way through the drive-thru cause I still needed that bio break but I also needed my coffee fix pretty badly. This is probably your typical Double D spot but only the good Lord knows exactly what they have inside because they don't let customers in. May 2020 I'd get that but we are in like two years after initial panic and most people are getting vaccinated. read more

I love the wind gap Dunkin, especially after the move! the staff is always smiling and friendly and my drinks/food are consistent and delicious. the new building is much larger and recently they started playing music inside which is great while waiting for your order to be finished (not that you ever have to wait long!) the workers go out of their ways to put you first, especially the girl with the really long dark hair, the girl with the short blond hair, and a newer red headed girl. I know my experience will be better if one of them handles my order. lately I been getting the 6 dollar meal deal which is a serious steal. love it! read more

I stopped for a coffee on my way out of town on a Saturday night. This location lists its Saturday hours online as open until 9:00 p.m. I pulled into the drive-through at 8:52 p.m. and was told by the employees they were closed. When I asked them about them about what time they close, they informed me it was 9:00 p.m., but they can't serve anyone "after 8:50ish because they have to leave by 9:00 p.m." I don't mean to be the person to show up at 8:59 p.m. and order some sort of involved meal, but if the website says you're open until 9:00 p.m., most would take that to mean you can get a takeout order until 9:00 p.m. I'd think I could at least get a cup of coffee 8 minutes before closing. If that's not the case, then the hours should be changed online, and I'd gladly abide by them. My fiance and I stopped in a few weeks later to pick up breakfast on a Saturday morning. Normally you can get quicker service by going inside, as the drive-through is usually backed up back onto 512. We were probably the 6th couple in line and waited about 20 minutes to get to the front. During that time two parties in front of us left, and that was the quickest we moved up! Once our order was taken, we got it quickly. We ordered a medium hot coffee and a medium iced coffee. Used there drive thru, at around 12:00pm on a Sunday afternoon, service was very slow, there was 3 cars only and we waited 8 minutes by the time we ordered to the time we received our drinks. read more

Sad to give the local dunkin 2 stars but this location really is sub par. The zoning officers who approved the location should be punished. The lot and drive through lanes are criminally deficient. On a weekend traffic is backed up onto broadway with no one able to enter or exit. Customers inside get frustrated that drive-through seems to get top priority (it does) but honestly the staff is struggling to keep congestion down. Drove thru with $30 order with my Daughter. Requested extra napkins because NONE were provided. Young girl had a little attitude going. I am 60 and requested a dixie cup size water to take my medication before I could eat with my daughter but she would not give me any. She said I could either buy a bottle or get it from the bathroom!! I asked to speak to an ADULT Manager and he said I'd have to purchase bottled water. I'm an Xray Tech and cannot really effort bottled water. In my house, that's a luxury!! I live down the road and go to this Dunkin' pretty often. However today my mom and I went today, I ordered a caramel iced coffee with oat milk. The coffee was extremely burnt; we went around again and said it was not good. They made me a new one and it tasted exactly the same.. CHANGE YOUR COFFEE!! Came in during a bit of a rush of customers who apparently have never ordered anything from a Dunkin Donuts or any fast food place. The patience of the cashiers and employees was impressive with the stream of goons they were dealing with. The service was quick and the workers were friendly. The store was very clean and well maintained. All condiments and stuff were fully stocked. My iced coffee and blueberry bagel were both good, well chilled and perfectly warmed, respectively. Customer service here is horrible. i had a very simple order of four of the same drink. When I pulled up to the window and was handed the drinks I said thank you with no response from the young lady. Then I noticed there were only three drinks, when I said I ordered four she just looks and me and said "we'll I only charged you for three" as if it was an imposition for her to correct her mistake. If I needed only three drinks that's what I would have ordered. So I drove to the Dunkin in Bangor to complete my order. I have worked in customer service for many years and the young lady's lack of courtesy left much to be desired. I would say the women with the nose ring and brown hair with blonde money pieces is some serious need of customer service classes. As I pulled up to the register to pay the cashier i observed her gloves to be greasy and gros looking. She handled the payment and then went over and made my sandwich without changing her gloves. I really wouldn't recommend going to this DD, not only is the owners daughter rude but they tend to bend the truth a lot, in more than one occasion I have gone in and ordered one of the specials for instance the 2 for $5 Bacon Egg & Cheese Croissant they said that DD had discontinued it, NOT TRUE, because every other location was still selling it, this time it was the Pumpkin Swirl flavoring for the coffee, again I was told that it was discontinued by DD and again NOT TRUE, went to another location and guess what, they had it and I even asked if DD was discontinuing it and was told "NEGATIVE", one day me or someone else is gonna walk into that location in Wind Gap Pa. and order coffee and donuts and they'll probably say that DD has discontinued those as well. My thing is that if you don't want to sell something anymore than that's your right to do so, but to say that DD across the board is discontinuing something just so you don't loose business that's just wrong. read more

New levels of dysfunction for this place. Haven't been here in over a year due to such slow service. Figured I'd place an order on the go to avoid the issue. Was given the choice to walk in or drive through and I chose walkin. Even though hours say until 8:30 the lobby was locked by 5:30. Waited on line at drive through. The Wind Gap location always messes up my drinks. If I get a hot latte, 1/4 of the cup is empty. Frozen drinks have this weird, overpowering sweetness that never taste like the flavor I ordered. Staff always seems aloof, and uncaring. Manager quite frankly seems like a jerk and doesn't even make the attempt to speak intelligible English to customers. If you're ever in the area, I would take the time to stop by Dunkin Donuts. Ever since I moved to the area about seven years ago, I've been going to the same one- and rarely do they disappoint. My order is usually the same, a large French vanilla iced coffee, with a toasted blueberry bagel covered with cream cheese. From time to time, they don't have my beloved blueberry bagel, but the plain ones are just as delicious! I always go through the drive-thru, but would love to sit down sometime and feel the atmosphere inside. They almost never get my order wrong, besides once or twice when they were understaffed. I visit this shop every other day to order 4 extra large black coffees to go at the drive in. This is a letter of frustration; again the person at the window got that wrong. I'll see the manager in the morning to get my money back; I have the receipt but even when I do not, I get fresh coffee or my money back. This cycle occurs around this time.
