First, the restaurant is so cute. It's like you're transported to a teahouse! The staff are really friendly, and they let you know immediately that everything is farm to table. The eggs were a deep yellow so I knew it was the truth. If you go, definitely order the biscuits and the mimosa flight. The biscuits comes with 4 different spreads (fig jam, peach butter, strawberry butter, and a brown sugar butter). The biscuits were a good size, and my favorite spread was the fig jam. I wish I could have put some in a jar. The mimosa flight flavors are so fun. I was not a fan of the soursop but the lychee and passionfruit are really good. For the main dish, we tried the chicken & waffle and the tres leches French toast. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and was crispy. The French toast was actually on a croissant. I can't wait to come back here!

The waitress was super nice about it and had it remade right away. The short rib was tender and really flavorful, and the salad and homemade chips on the side were great. They will never see me again.... I just left there after having their triple play special, which is .....not very special. I sat 5-booths from the entrance. The employees and their VERY loudmouth female owner... We're all sitting in the 1st booth. The owner was so LOUD!!!!! We couldn't even have a conversation at the table. I said something to my waitress who told me that she she's Latin and loud. I'm Italian.... We invented loud. But we know "common courtesy" and basic manners in a restaurant. This owner has NONE!!!!! I couldn't WAIT to finish my breakfast and head out the door. On my way out, I heard the people behind me complaining that they have not been acknowledged at their booth. Completely ignored customers...... It was employee social hour and; Customers were intruding. I did complain to my waitress, who said that's how it rolls there and that I "would need to move to the back". Move to the back? Well, needless to say ... her commentary and lack of social awareness was reflected in her tip. ZERO!!!!! Watch out Compton's... You are not the only game in town anymore. Now I don't trust people to be truly honest in a setting like a wedding, so I looked for proof. All the food was gone! Gone! So many took some home with them, there's was nothing to store or even throw out. So yeah I would say that past the test. Recommend a visit to eat there, or to cater especially if your event is in Pennsylvania. Your only other choice is to drive food in of this quality from New York itself.

When you go to a cafe you expect a little more attention is being paid to the offerings. I could have had the same tasting meal at any diner in the area. I would have liked to see more of a coffee menu. For a cafe I'd expect some more options than latte, mocha, espresso, macchiato and americano. There's nothing different or special about those. I had the corned beef hash. It really had no flavor of corned beef at all. Someone else in my party had it too and said the same thing. It was just ok. Service: it was fine. No complaints or anything to write home about. Everyone was friendly and inviting when we walked in right at opening. It's been several years since we've been here and it definitely has changed in terms of food quality unfortunately.

To start I want to say they are very nice and polite. The place is very cozy, not big and not too small. I feel it is a good size for a breakfast joint. They do serve lunch but it is a good atmosphere for either. So, the French toast was good. They were crispy as described. I felt a lot of cinnamon was put onto it. And as you see in the picture I added 2 eggs on top which cut the sweetness down. I thought with the eggs it was amazing. The chorizo was not what we were use to in Texas. It was more of a sausage. I would had thought they cut it up and cut the potatoes smaller, but I do love the cast iron serve with the meal. Really allows the homemade country feel. My overall assessment was this place is nice. The food is good and it is a destination place, the atmosphere and workers make it amazing. Denise was our server and she was awesome along with her counter server Jade. They both worked well together and interacted with the whole place to make you feel welcomed and appreciated.
