The perfect cafe for a change of pace! Both indoor and outdoor seating! The matcha was perfect balance, not too sweet. The views outside are so refreshing. I will be back. 10/10 experience. Barista was also very pleasant. Def check it out if you're in the Clinton area!

What a cute coffee shop. The place is so welcoming with little nooks to sit in and the offering is away from all that. I was welcomed in by the young na behind the counter and he took my order. I opened for the butternut squash soup and the matcha lavender haze latte. Everything was so yummy. The soup was a little thinner than I expected but it was still good and had a little kick to it. The lavender haze was so yummy with a hint of lavender. Definitely a stop for Clinton, NJ.

Tried this coffee shop on windy Saturday afternoon . Little space with few seatings inside as well as outside. Stayed longer inside because of the weather. Had the organic Americano coffee, cafe latte, croissant and lemon blueberry loaf. They're all good and prices are not too expensive . Place gets packed and busy specially in the afternoon when we visited the place. Our server Kayla was very nice, pleasant and hospitable in suggesting as well as answering questions about their products. Good customer service and tried taking some pictures outside overlooking the river. If not of this windy weather, outside seating is the best. Definitely will be back.

What an adorable little spot to have a nice hot cup of tea or coffee. They had a fireplace inside, which was warm and welcoming. The staff was super friendly and made my drink perfect. A large variety of copies is available as well as sweet treats which looked delicious.

Cozy, small cafe with seating indoors and outdoors. Small menu of hot and cold beverages. I liked my Rivertella with decaf and nutella. Ghirardelli Hot Chocolate with whipped cream was good but slightly sweeter than I wanted. Got some grilled cheese paninis- good for a small bite. Some baked options as well. Service was pleasant when ordering. Finished drinks were called out but for some reason, they didn't when our food was ready. We had to ask bec we noticed them on the counter. Not wheelchair accessible bec. of narrow entryways and steps. Restroom is located in the building behind it (no signage but near entrance to River Mill View restaurant). Located on the small Main St area, with views of the Clinton Mills Dam; near the Hunterdon Art Museum, Red Mill Village, Lowthorp Truss Bridge and other small businesses. Must be nicer in the warmer months. Got free 2-hr street parking

Beautiful location and cute shop! The staff was very friendly. I got a coconut pie latte and breakfast panini. The food and drink were pretty tasty. My only qualm is that the coconut pie latte had chunks of coconut in the drink which was a bit weird having to chew through while drinking. Next time I'd definitely order it without the added coconut. Panini was good!

Cute little coffee shop right by the river. Definitely a go to place for the fall vibes thirsty neck walks stores that are all connected to the café as well as a nice restaurant in the back there's free Wi-Fi and ample seating for anybody who is working remotely or just watching Netflix! The staff was great. I asked them for the recommendations and they were able to give me their favorite pastries and coffee orders. When I'm in the area again, I will definitely be coming back!

Super cute inside and was quick ordering. I got a strawberry cream chai and my mom got a blueberry chai. The brown sugar taste of it was nice and I love the matcha in my drink. Super cute, if I lived closer it would be a normal spot for me. We also got the chicken bacon ranch panini and it was "sinfully good" according to my mother. I'll definitely make the drive down again at some point

This place is so cozy! It's along the water so super cute seating. Great coffee selection. Staff isn't friendly but the drinks are good. Every time I visit this area I get a coffee here. FALL MENU - the hot apple cider, and the hot cinnamon spice tea latte are my favorites!!

Tried the London fog and it was really good. Seems like they have a lot of drinks to choose from and they also sell bbtea. I didn't try anything else since I was trying food from places nearby. I would def get the London fog again. Street parking

Another stop in my USA coffee obsession! Stone Bean is in a great setting, beans roasted on site, and the employees are chill and helpful. What else could you want? Honestly it's not a quick stop for the interstate, so for those of us road warriors / road trippers, be prepared for a long hunt for parking. It's worth it!

A true small batch coffee toaster cafe with a million dollar view of the Moll and dam outside their location. The coffee was authentic and fresh, a nice lingering smooth mild taste. I did fall in love and since we were unaware of the site prior to our visit, apparently this site is a widely used photo op due to its historical significance.

I often drink my coffee black, and Jimmy's has the best cold brew I've ever had. It's incredibly smooth, flavorful, and not overly bitter. They also make amazing specialty coffee and matcha beverages, teas and refreshers, and super fun seasonal drinks. The fall drink menu right now is especially delicious. Tons of cozy autumn flavors: Pumpkin Crème Brûlée Cold Brew, Pumpkin Spice Latte, Cinnamon Roll Matcha, Apple Pie Chai, Caramel Apple Macchiato, and the S'mores Frozen Cappuccino and the Campfire Latte with toasted marshmallows. They're all so yummy, but my personal favorite is the Pumpkin Crème Brûlée Cold Brew, which has pumpkin cold foam and a torched sugar crust. Jimmy's Coffeehouse is also a great brunch or lunch spot in downtown Clinton, with avocado toast, smoked salmon toast, paninis, pastries, and other café options. The Turkey Pesto Panini is my personal favorite. They also offer gluten-free bread, which I really appreciate. I'm especially excited that they'll be adding breakfast sandwiches soon! The atmosphere is one of the best parts. The coffeehouse has huge windows with tons of natural light, exposed brick, and a beautiful view of the iconic Red Mill and waterfall. There's also a gallery wall featuring work from a different local artist every month or two, which is such a nice way to support the local arts community and always gives you something new to see. Jimmy's is dog-friendly, has free Wi-Fi, and is great for meeting a friend for coffee, getting some work done, or spending a slow afternoon in Clinton. The space is also available for private events and bookings, which is great if you're looking for a unique event space in downtown Clinton with scenic views. And lastly, the staff is kind, welcoming, and professional. If you're looking for the best coffee in Hunterdon County, a cozy coffee shop near the Red Mill, or a great café for breakfast, brunch, or lunch in Clinton, NJ, Jimmy's is absolutely worth a visit. After more than a year of coming here constantly, it's still one of my favorite places.

My husband had the turkey pesto panini which he enjoyed, mine was the chicken pesto crepe which I liked too BUT I did end up trading my husband for his panini because his was so so much better with the panini bread crunch. Hope to visit again.

I have also enjoyed their wraps, bowls, and sandwiches. And they even have burgers and hot dogs, too. GfL is my new spot for takeout (order ahead online to save time!) before heading to the airport. The chunky chicken wrap saved me when my flight back to the West coast (already a long journey) was delayed by several hours and I was starving. The cafe also has a number of yummy desserts displayed in the case that are great to-go. GfL also offers a "Meal Prep" option where you can order food on a weekly or monthly basis. Service is friendly and efficient, but they are sometimes understaffed. Try to be patient and nice, and your tasty food will be out soon enough. I had planned on ordering a croissant, but when I got to the counter to order, they were all out at the time. It seemed that they were cooking more in the downstairs area, but I was warned it could be a while. I went with the chicken salad sandwich instead. I know, that was a quick left turn, but the chicken salad sounded good. My husband got a basic coffee and the oatmeal. You don't get your order after paying. They prepare orders as they come in and it seemed that they were behind. It was very busy when we stopped in. We found a place to sit and then a little while later we were alerted that our order was ready. I loved the neighborhood feel of Scout's. I loved that it was a welcoming place of all people. It was warm, homey, and locally owned. That is the type of place that we love to support. We liked everything we ordered. The only comment I would make is that the chicken salad along with the bread they served it on was a VERY dry combination. It needed some moisture or some softness. It was difficult to swallow at times because my throat was so incredibly dry. If I happen to be in town again, and I can stop in, I would just order something else. It was not bad, it just has room for improvement. Overall, we loved our time spent at Scout's. And we were happy to stop in and support.

I don't usually write reviews, but you're charging $8.75 for what signs in the shop and the counter person called "a pint" of ice cream. My wife was so upset at the sizing that she refused to have any ice cream. Our boys and I went ahead with the purchase despite the price. Now, charge whatever you want if people are okay paying it, but the "pint" clearly wasn't really a pint. Truth in advertising still matters. The "pint" paper container actually holds about a cup of ice cream. We know this because I saved the container, brought it home, and measured its volume. One measuring cup of water (8 oz.) filled the container pretty close to full, about half an inch from the top. You have a lovely shop and I wish you much success. At the same time, please stop telling customers that they're buying a "pint" of ice cream when they're really buying about a cup of ice cream. Label it something else, "Standard," "Regular," "Large" (compared to the pops), or whatever. Calling something a pint when it clearly isn't only hurts your credibility as a proprietor and sullies the customer experience. Thank you.
