When I called, I did not have my insurance card handy and could not remember the name of my new insurance. I had thought "Northeast Delta Dental" was my insurance, but it was not. I called back a couple of weeks later and upon giving my name, Carrie(?) briskly stated "We do not take Northeast Delta Dental!". I calmly explained I had my card and was happy to confirm it actually says "Dental Blue". She advised, rather shortly, that Dental Blue was not in network with them, so I asked about "CBA Blue" (as that was the next name on my insurance card). She rudely exclaimed they're not in network with them, either. I called CBA Blue and was advised that they use the Blue Cross Blue Shield network. If the office had only allowed me to give more information, I imagine they could have understood that they were, in fact, in network. This is not how potential new patients should be treated. I'll be looking elsewhere.

I just had to take a moment to sing the praises of this amazing dentist I found--Dr. H over at Bristol Park Dental in Williston. If you're not familiar, his office is conveniently located right next to Aspen Dental Williston , VT and super close to Hannaford's in Williston VT You can't miss the light gray building with that big awning out front. It is handicap accessible, with a side entrance for anyone who needs it. I've had quite a bit of dental work done by Dr. H, and let me tell you, he's done three successful root canals for me. I'm also getting treated for TMJ, and the great news is that he's in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Vermont (BSBSVT) which means my HEALTH insurance covers a range of treatments-- appliances, panoramic images, and even Masseter Botox for that TMJ relief. Seriously, Dr. H is the one-stop-shop for all things dental! When it comes to services, he's got you covered with smile makeovers, full arch cases, cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, fillings, and even orthodontics like Invisalign and braces. Dr H made an appliance for me, and it fit like a glove--first time, every time. His state-of-the-art equipment is pretty mind-blowing! They show you a 3D image of your tooth, and the new ones he installs fit way better than your old ones--I promise you that. I've had around eight teeth worked on, and Dr H created several new crowns that match my original ones color perfectly. Dr. H's attention to detail during my root canals was top-notch. He is kind, humble and a truly great person. And let me just mention how awesome his staff is! His wife, Dr. C, is also a dentist, which adds to the warm and welcoming vibe of the office. If you're in Burlington, seriously consider making your way to see Dr. H--you won't regret it! I'm looking forward to enjoying my new crowns for many years to come. Having lived in Vermont for almost 23 years, I can tell you that we've needed quality dental care like this in our area for a while. What got me to write this…read morereview is that I just had xrays taken and teeth cleaning and both were the best experience I have had with either. Low intensity xrays are far safer and the digital images are nearly instantaneous and visible to you as they are generated. The process is quick. Even more impressive was the thoroughness, quickness and lack of any discomfort with teeth cleaning. They used a newer technology to do the bulk of the cleaning before the detail work which was easier and without and pointed tools causing any discomfort. And the result was noticeably cleaner than the good results I am used to. I will add the office is comfortable and the staff is friendly. A very good experience. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist or ambivalent about their current dentist.
