My girlfriend and I just ordered here for the first time and it was NOT enjoyable. We ordered from the drive thru because we were heading to work. I had to repeat 4 times that I wanted 2 burritos. Everytime I said TWO, the lady kept saying one burrito, ok. When I finally said you have TWO BURRITOS on there right, she replied, oh so now you want two of them in a very snarky tone. She then cut me off and said I'll see you at the window and I hadn't even ordered my drinks. I told her there was more and she said what else did I need? I gave her my drink orders and we FINALLY get to move to the window. WE WAITED 10 MINUTES FOR 2 BURRITOS AND 2 DRINKS. And the audacity to ask "What should I put down as a tip for you?" when I'm completing the payment instead of saying "The machine will ask for a tip, would you like to leave one?" is WILD to me, especially with the lowest end service I've ever received at a coffee place. I got an Iced Mint Mocha and it had no flavor, it was plain iced coffee. My girlfriend got a vanilla latte, hot. So hot in fact that she took a single sip and burned her tongue so bad she almost cried, and again, NO FLAVOR. The burritos were mostly tortilla with a bit of filling and not cooked very evenly. So overall, we spent $30 for two really bad drinks, poorly made burritos and even worse customer service. I'd complain about the person by name, but she never gave us one. I guess that's one way to avoid any accountability. We will not be returning and I ABSOLUTELY do not recommend spending your money here. read more

Great coffee this morning from Dunn Brothers in Bismarck. A very large Americano was rich and got me all the caffeine I needed as I'm working my way back into the Central Time Zone. Nice little shop with plenty of sitting space to laptop or just enjoy your coffee. It's got a nice quiet background music and I did see a power outlet or two. While going from North Dakota to Montana we decided to check this cafe out based on the reviews and ratings. We ordered coffees, latte, and for lunch we ordered California Chicken, Bacon Grilled Cheese and Naan Pizza(Vegetarian). The cafe was cool, friendly and spacious. Loved its interiors. The food and coffee drinks were amazing and the best part was Naan Pizza. It is a must try in this cafe. Whenever I will get a chance I will definitely try other branches of this cafe. read more

Visited Dunn Brothers Coffee on July 3rd while on a road trip. We went there thinking here's a regular coffee place to grab a quick sandwich. Let me start by saying that Dunn Bros. has officially ruined grilled cheese sandwiches for me. The Bacon Grilled Cheese was AMAZING!!! This grilled cheese has cheddar, Swiss, parmesan, Muenster cheeses with roasted red pepper, bacon, tomato, and pesto aioli on toasted multi-grain bread. It was DELICIOUS! Also ordered a pistachio muffin for the road and it was SO FRESH! I wanted to kick myself for not ordering two. They had a good sized international and specialty coffee selection. As I am not a coffee drinker, I had iced fruit tea. It was refreshing. The sandwich comes with chips, added muffin and tea and the cost was a pretty reasonable $20. The employees at this location were friendly but busy, as they also have a drive thru. The location was very clean, including the restroom. Just based on the freshness of the food, I would definitely not hesitate to go back if I were in the area. read more

My daughter took us to Dunn Bros...her favorite coffee shop. It was our first time, as my wife and I are Starbucks fans. Dunn Bros. is a large airy attractive room, with ample seating, and good wifi. Their food offering is certainly greater than any coffee shop I've seen. There are wraps, sandwiches, salads, and fresh made bakery items. All the food looked great, but we only stopped in for coffee. I enjoyed mine, but I still prefer my old brand. However, when hungry, this is the place to try. They also have a rewards program. We really enjoyed our visit to Dunn Bros....when in Bismarck, we'll return. read more

I am new to Bismarck and this is probably one of my favorite places to grab a coffee at. I like the fact that this is a space you can relax at or sit and do some studying, they also have a small conference room you can book out.It's a open atmosphere and the space feels very welcoming, rich warm colors and a fireplace for those cold days. Very clean and the staff is always friendly. They do have an app where you can order ahead and load a card on file, this makes for a fast transaction. It's also a reward system, every $50 you spend you get $3 back. They roast all of their coffee in the store and have the machine set up so you can watch them, they have a perfect half circle seating area so you can watch. They offer k-cups and whole bean coffee as well as some pretty cool coffee mugs and little other gifts. The cold brew coffee is amazing, perfect cup of smooth bold taste. They also offer two different sizes of growlers of the cold brew and you get a discount when you bring them back for a refill. Pasty case is always always full of a different verity of goodies, they also have a small breakfast and lunch menu. Never tired any of the food but it looks amazing. I think my favorite drink is the iced vanilla nirvana, perfect way to kick off the day. Hope others find this space as enjoyable as I do. read more

They had a convenient drive through window, food breakfast sandwich selections, and the staff was very friendly. I really enjoy going here. The place is whimsical and approachable. They roast their own coffee, which is not something anyone else does. The staff is friendly and attentive. It's always clean, and service is always with a smile. My favorite is the iced vanilla nirvana. The cold brew iced coffee is sooo good. I wish that they would open another location downtown. Well. Here goes. Great coffee shop altogether. Great customer service. Really enjoyed the service. Coffee was amazing too. Why I gave it 4 stars is because their supposed "breakfast burrito" was super disappointing. I do prefer burritos that lean toward the healthy side of things when I do eat them. I wasn't looking for a gut bomb. But for 4 bucks. I would have preferred it to be larger than the length of my fist. More like taco wrapped with cheese and some eggs. No biggie though. Again. Overall I love this place. I really enjoyed their coffee. I got a double expresso and it's tasted great. Thing is I really never even eat burritos so I'm not super heartbroken over something I really don't care about. But this a review. Great business and great people. Came here for the first time, I mentioned it to the staff, they were not enthused. I ordered a hot chocolate for my daughter, she said it tasted watered down. I taste and sure enough, watered down. I take to front and they said it probably wasn't stirred up enough. I'm like "ok", so I do it myself, and still, it's watery. I take it up again and they add more chocolate mix to it. Next problem, I ordered 4 waffles by itself and got olive oil instead of syrup. My whole family unwittingly dipped their waffles in the oil and realized it didn't taste right. I then try and realize it's not syrup, but some type of oil! I take it back to the counter again and the staff ask, "what's the problem this time?" Grossed out. They gave me waffles I ate already to remedy this, feel I should've gotten at least half or whole of $28 back for horrible food. Won't be heading back there...DONE WITH DUNN BROS. read more

I had a great first two experiences so no complaints coming out of my mouth. I actually had really great service. The first time I was there for a origami owl team meeting. They said they would call me when it was ready but instead walked it over to me which was so nice! Then the second time I ordered, it didn't take them long to get me my order and it was hot and fantastic again. The last 2 times I've went through the drive through it took forever. Each time it was during the lunch hour on a week day and it took so long that they gave me free drink cards.
