Fast friendly service. And they don't water down their "cold brew." This place is a regular stop when I'm visiting my folks up north.

I enjoyed my stop at Dunn Brothers Coffee Elk River. They gave good handicap parking right outside the doors. There is a fair amount of seating inside. It was clean and there is a nice bathroom. The restaurant was pretty busy, mostly it seemed with regulars. They remember the regular's names and orders which is pretty impressive. I was not a regular, but service was fast and very friendly. The vibe was pretty regular smallish town coffee shop. Not hipster at all, clientele was fairly rural. I have always liked Dunn Brothers because their lattes/mochas/etc. have a lot more coffee flavor than the other chains. My medium latte was around $6, and my avocado toast, which was also very good, was about $7 (without bacon). My coffee was very hot and tasted good. I will be back when I am in the area. read more

Very friendly service, the baristas always greet you with a smile and are very polite. They are always thorough and efficient working together as a team:) They sometimes give me extra of my drink if they make too much :0. I love that you can pretty much personalize it all here... drinks, food, everything!! If a mistake is made they are happy to accommodate. The music could be updated. Definitely not modern, reaching for older generations. It's all in all a nice place to meet up for breakfast, lunch, or just a coffee date! read more

This coffee shop has way more than just the best coffee I have ever had! Ok.... I travel.... a lot, and when I say it's the best coffee I've had, I truly mean it, and I've been all over the world enjoying the dark, savory drink. Fresh roasted in house sometimes that day! As for the service, I can truly say it's fantastic, especially Jody, Mickey, and Effe! They are friendly, courteous, and quick. I don't live in Minnesota, so when I travel here for work, I actually take the extra 20+ minutes to go to this particular Dunn Brothers over other coffee shops, including other Dunn Brothers shops. The atmosphere here is a bit more lively than a regular coffee shop due to the familarness of the return customers, and it doesn't have that hippster pretentiousness that other local coffee shops have. When I walk in the door of this establishment after being gone for 6-8 months and the owner, Michelle, remembers my name and my darn order from months prior. Really fun and knowledgeable staff. Amazing espresso and coffee. A really welcoming vibe and decor. You can work on your laptop or have a quiet meeting or a boisterous meeting and will still feel comfortable. The food is miles above similar venues. read more

Prefer the espresso drinks to Sbux & Caribou. Little creamier, smoother, and more character. Returned to area to move my mum out of state. Tried this out for the first time today. They were trying to be fast, but it didn't seem to be working. The owner (presumably) was nice, but loud (almost like she was yelling everything) and "sweetie" this or "honey" that. The kind of coffee shop that feels like grandma's house. With old hits on the radio being played too many times, a large round table for the elk river knights Templar, password protected wi-fi, and locals discussing their neighbors, this is the place to be for bible study or suburbia gossip. Kinda the place where folks go after church to discuss how Peggy-Sue fell asleep at the organ again. This is the best coffee shop in town. Not only are the drinks awesome, but the staff is outstanding. If you want a special drink, just ask. They also make great sandwiches, the waffle breakfast sandwich is my husbands favorite. Mine is the Tuscan turkey, but I ask for ham instead... no problem! The sort of coffee shop that has fliers for a quilt show and a comic map of where elk river, Mn is. It's not urban chic. For a deep suburban coffee shop it has nice hours and the coffee is okay! I prefer it to the sbucks and caribou nearby. The people here are good fun, and the place is clean. The low noise level is nice, and I like that they have plants from the ceiling. read more

We all know that Dunn Bros offers great coffee but what really makes this place special is the staff.

Best coffee shop there is! This place is locally owned and more then often if you come in during the day the owner will be working, her name is Mickie. The whole staff is amazing! They're high energy, fun, and fast. You never have to wait long for your perfectly made drink. If you ever have any type of issue (ordering the wrong thing, wanting more flavor, anything) they have no issues with fixing it. They recently started making breakfast and lunch sandwiches that are so good everything is made fresh! I even saw them cracking the eggs to make the soufflés for the breakfast sandwiches! I would highly recommend going to Dunn Brothers in Elk River! read more
