My favorite breakfast sandwiches and coffee in Jefferson City! The frappes are perfect. I love that they still taste great with soy milk! My personal favorite is the Raspberry White Mocha. And I love how much egg comes on the breakfast sandwiches. Never stop carrying turkey bacon! Lol. One time on my way to classes at Mizzou, the barista accidentally put regular milk instead of soy milk in my drink and I unwittingly drank 10oz before realizing something was off. I was sick to my stomach for days. I understand, though. They're probably much more used to making drinks with cow's milk and chances of making a simple mistake do increase when you order something with a different ingredient. Now I'm always sure to verbally confirm with the barista when my drink is done. Hasn't happened again! I love you guys for all you do. Thanks! read more

I turned to Dunn Brothers for a road trip pick-me-up as I was passing through Jefferson City, and it did not disappoint. The drive-through service was quick, efficient and shockingly inexpensive, costing me less than $3 for an Americano of admirable, if not exceptional, quality. It's hard to judge a coffee shop without setting foot inside, but to the extent that one can get a feel for a place by briefly porting with one of its windows, this one showed no obvious red flags. And I'm inclined to be generous since it was the only coffee shop in town open on Sunday. read more

Jefferson City tends to lack in non-Starbucks/franchise type of places, and although Dunn Brothers is certainly not mom and pop by any means, it's Missouri/Midwestern local all the same. Dunn Bros is located in a developing area along W. Edgewood and it's a bit unfortunate given how close it is to other very well-traveled areas. I'm rooting for it because I just dropped in here in need of a) some coffee and b) a place to write my paper for my STILL ongoing semester. I came in here and was excited by the warm decor and also the great selection of local coffees - they roast their coffee beans right here. There is tons of parking outside and prices are very par-for-the-course as far as coffee goes. I'm probably the worst coffee orderer on the planet sometimes because I treat it like I'm at a bar: "I'd like something sweet with not too much caffeine to throw me over the edge but, yes, caffeine and I don't like chocolate ..." Yeah, that's me. And despite my obnoxious ass being mad obnoxious, the barista totally came through with an awesome beverage. I'll definitely come back and I'd recommend to anyone. read more

My first visit. I went through the drive-thru to get a cappuccino and got not even 3 quarters full of a cup after they handed me the coffee. And the cappuccino tastes more like a latte. Quite bitter for something you would expect to be on the sweet side. I paid almost $4 for it and to me it's not worth it. May go back to see if this is just with drive-thru cus they have to rush it...But really not impressed at all. read more

I always love this place! I live completely on the other side of town from this coffee shop, and I will drive past Starbucks and come here instead. The employees always appear happy and they listen to their customers. Each time we get something from the pastry cabinet, it's never stale. The coffee is always so well blended and smooth. Of all the coffee shops that I have been to in JC, I will always choose Dunn Bros! read more

So, I've been to this Dunn's Brother's a bunch of times, and this particular experience really changed my opinion of them. Went through the drive-through and ordered a caramel Cappucino. Got to the window to pay and the girl repeated the order saying Caramel Frap. I told her that it's actually a Caramel Cappucino that I order (I specifically wanted a HOT drink). She was the absolute rudest person. She called over to the girl making my drink saying that it needed to be changed and told the girl (with the window still open so I could hear everything) that I definitely ordered a Frap and continued to say rude things as the manager came up. Not one person, even the manager said anything, other than "just void it." It was an honest mistake, Cappucino and Frappucino probably sound similar over the speaker. Then on top of that, they STILL gave me the wrong drink. I ended up getting some tea foam hot drink. Ended up telling one of my friends what happened and found out that they've been like this for a while. Definitely not going back. And I will be telling my own clients and others I know, not to go here. Not worth it. read more

Specialty coffees are NEVER consistent. Sometimes too much milk, sometimes too much syrup - there is a formula for them to follow but I guess its hard to find good help. You never know what you are going to get!!! Good or bad that day. WAKE UP Dunn Brothers. Don't you notice that you have less business??? Its because the coffees are terrible. Great coffee; just wish they offered it in something other than a paper cup. Offer just the right amount of variety. They have something for everyone but not so much that your overwhelmed. Plenty of seating and doesn't feel crowded even when their fairly busy. Only wish I could've gotten connected to the wifi. Probably the best standard coffee-place in Jeff City that I've tried. Fun, hip atmosphere. Friendly employees. In an unfortunate location and closes way way too early, but that is unfortunately very common in this town, and given their location, which is obviously intended to serve businesses and a couple of large government buildings, it wouldn't make sense for them to keep this one open any later. Not a very good first experience. The guy server was not friendly through the intercom or at the window. They were out of all fruit and smoothie stuff.
