When I walked into this Starbucks I thought there was no way it could be a two star Starbys. The inside is clean, the folks working seemed nice, it felt very standard. It was also right across the street from my hotel which honestly merits one start all on its own. The reason it only gets two stars is that one of our drinks was pretty much not drinkable. I was tasked with picking up the food/drinks and the first thing that was off was how long it was taking them on our order, but that wasn't a huge deal, though maybe it should have tipped me off this wasn't the best starbucks location? Once our food and drinks were ready I picked them up and was on my way back to the hotel. My brown sugar shaken espresso was sort of separating which wasn't ideal, but the flavor was fine so I was okay with it. Not the best one I've had but also not the worst. My cousin ordered an iced nonfat vanilla latte though and she said it was the worst one she'd ever had, and if you know her, you know that she's not the pickiest of coffee drinkers so I believe her. It looked very watered down and it makes me wonder if they added ice before the espresso which is the wrong way to make an iced drink like this. Who knows, but long story short that's a very easy drink and to mess it up is not great. The long and short of this is that you might have an okay time here and you might not. I'd take a sip before you drive off. read more

This location is so good! I wanted to try something new, and the whole staff came up with an idea and had me try something until I liked it. So I walked over one morning to get my SB. They have parking, a drive-thru and plenty of seating. All of these are great but the most important part is that they get every aspect of my order correct and all of the people I got drinks for were happy. Dive-thru was like 10 cars deep so we went inside. We ordered 3 drinks (a vanilla Iced coffee with cream & 2 non-menu items) and egg bites. I spelled out exactly how to make the non-menu items. They got both non menu items wrong and left out the cream in the iced coffee. After fixing all that, I finished half my drink before asking about my egg bites. Attendant came back and said "we have no one at the warming station so I just put your egg bites in." ‍ Disappointed every time I go to this location. The people here are nice, but I've never made it through the line. in any form in less than 20 minutes. Those forms include drive-thru, in store, mobile ordering with pick up both drive-thru and in-store). I would say it's because they're a new store, but I'm not sure if that's truly the case, since my wait times have not changed at all since they opened, and I'd say I don't go more than twice a month. Another side story for the three stars - I had applied for a part-time job there, and went in to speak to a manager to make sure they had received it. The girl I spoke with at the counter literally laughed at me, and basically brushed me off. For a place that is SO slow (I wish I was exaggerating about the wait times), you'd think they'd be all about getting some more help. I'm not bitter about not getting a job there, but I am a little confused emoji about their attitude vs. the customer experience. I do love Starbucks, like any basic white girl, and will keep going back, because it's them or the Target location (which is still far worse). Pulled in today, only to find a sign and two cones blocking the parking lot saying "store is closed, sorry for the inconvenience". I understand it's COVID and staffing is a challenge everywhere, but for the entire store to be closed? I'll play devil's advocate and say perhaps someone working there had gotten sick, which would be fair. However, this one star review is also based on the last three visits I've attempted to grab coffee on my way into work over the last two months, in which I order ahead (I live 20 minutes away) and have still ended up waiting 10-20 minutes for my drink each time. Sadly not worth it. I will say I've never had an unfriendly experience with the staff, but unfortunately if you can't provide the product customers are after in a reasonable amount of time, this type of review is bound to happen. Staff are always kind and friendly, and orders are always correct. Whether you're in-store or at the drive through, always expect wait time to be a minimum of 10 to 15 minutes. It will not matter if you order ahead on the mobile app, or if you order in person. It will not matter if you are the only customer or in a line of 5 cars. Worst location ever. Whoever designed this placed really didn't think it through. With the drive through stretching sometimes to few cars sitting in traffic on Missouri Blvd. there in no parking that can be used on the property . If you fortunate enough to be able to park in the designated paved area, there is no way to get out when you are done with all the drive through cars behind you. The lobby closed and open at random. I don't know what are the criteria to determine closing the lobby. Very inconvenient. read more

The absolute worst Starbucks I have ever visited. 1. DMV slow! It's been open more than a year and still the service is exceptionally slow. While in Jefferson City this week I learned that mobile ordering is no longer available and on the second day I went you could no longer go inside (perhaps a COVID issue??). The drive through is always long, often it snakes out onto the road. If you park there you can easily get blocked in, so now people park on a nearby gravel area. One time I cancelled my order because I was going to miss my flight as I was traveling to St. Louis. 2. Drink quality is unacceptable. I always order the same drink when I go to a Starbucks, a flat white. Two instances this week my drink did not taste right, almost as though it had been watered down. The third day I drove a few miles out of my way to go to Starbucks at the Target and the drink was spot on (and I didn't have to wait while they went to milk the cow and roast the beans!) read more

START GOING TO SCOOTERS!! Starbucks used to be my go to but here at this location I just experienced the worst customer service from the workers as well as the manager. I asked an associate for a straw. She closed the window in my face rolling her eyes and when she comes back she makes a smart comment saying "usually if u want a straw ask for it at the window .. the cups have holes for you to drink" yeah she acted like i was dumb . i know there are holes there but i don't like putting my mouth on there I usually take a straw. Me taking a straw shouldn't be any of your concern. She then shut the window on me while i was talking and I waited for a manager. The manager then comes to the window, I explained the rude service i got for asking for a straw and all the manager did was shrug her shoulders and say "i'm sorry " . This is the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. The parking is a mess. The drive thru blocks the parking spots. On the inside it is incredibly slow and chaotic. It took me 20 minutes to get a tall cappuccino. They were unapologetic. There are a lot of local coffee shops that are cheaper and better. Worst Starbucks I've ever visited. It opened in February 2019, and has never really gotten put together. Wait times are unbelievable, and there doesn't seem to be any management or leadership. For example, they will have a long line of people waiting for their beverages, and one of the baristas will be sorting the cardboard cup wrappers or some other non-essential task. It always seems like each person is sort of doing there own thing. I agree with another reviewer that it doesn't matter if you go through the drive through or go inside, the wait is the same. I use the mobile app and that usually works well, but I order nitro coffee which is pretty easy to prepare. The thing that bothers me the most is that the store is really dirty. The counters and table tops always look like they haven't been wiped down in days and the floors look like they haven't been swept or mopped. If I wasn't addicted to the nitro coffee, I'd definitely go elsewhere. read more

Worse Starbucks I have EVER been to and I get Starbucks 3-4 times a week. I would rather go without than go through the hassle of waiting in this drive through for 25 minutes. It should never take that long in a drive through, the driveway is set up so poorly you get stuck in it almost everytime and the drive through line backs extends out to the missouri blvd. Also, youd think mobile ordering would be easier or faster? You thought wrong! You'll be waiting for your drink for 25 to 35 minutes nearly every time. Doesn't matter what time day it is. When you do finally get it congratulations because your order will be wrong. That is even if they have what you ordered because they are constantly out of half of their supplies.
