A million times more efficient than the most expensive gas station car wash (plus you get to use the compressed air and vacuum for 10 mins). My SUV was a hot mess after driving from FL to Kingwood. It got off all the bugs and road mess in one "Good" wash. My car was amazingly about 95% dry after pulling out of the wash - that NEVER happens! Plus my freakin tire rims were clean and sparkly - a MIRACLE. I was hesitant to use this wash. I've ruined cars in the past with car wash brushes. So relieved when I got out and there were zero brush mark swirls. Sadly, I don't live locally anymore. If I still lived here I'd totally get a monthly membership. Sooooo Worth it.

But, the phone operators are rude and have the nerve to tell you that they have been working for the company for 5 years or so and still cannot get information on the vehicles corrected. You could have all the car wash all over the place and if your computer system its not sinking with debit cards, licenses plates and all; you all need to get with program. Aside from waiting on the 800 for more than an hour its very POOOR customer service. If I cannot resolve this issued today I am cancelling the membership.

The staff is friendly and most of the time you can get in and out without much delay...provided you are not there during peak hours. The negatives are not too bad. But these three things kept my rating from being higher. 1. The brushes have caught my front plate holder and broke it nearly completely off the front bumper, to the point where I had to have it fixed just to keep the plate on. I reported this to both management on site and through the website. There was initial response. But, then the ball was completely dropped. So, I ate the repair cost, after initially being told that they would take care of it. Eventually not so much as even a couple of free months to offset my expense. This is not an isolated incident. I have seen bent plates and plate holders on other vehicles coming out of the wash bay. It even started to bend the plate on my second vehicle...to the point where I took proactive actions and added additional bolts to the very edge of the plate and bracket to prevent any further damage. 2. Wheels are expensive to begin with. Fixing curb rash is also expensive. While this complaint is not about all of the attendants, it is about the majority. Take the time to guide the wheel into the center or at least the inside shoulder of the wheel. When it is busy, they have you so close to the vehicle in front, and there are so many people waiting that there is not enough visibility to perfectly align into the track without a little direction. Some of the attendants are vigilant about lining you up...others are not paying attention at all and just keep waving cars forward, regardless of alignment. 3. When it is busy, some people force their way into the line after coming through the gate. Common courtesy and waiting your turn are becoming a thing of the past. It doesn't bother me as much to wait as it does to get someone else's cheap basic wash instead of the ultimate car wash with all of the features that I pay for. If you use it a few times a month, the subcription is the way to go. A clean car is a happy car!

I was looking for a place that had self service and automatic because I wanted to get the biggest globs of muck off with the foaming brush and high-pressure spray. Porter Car Wash was perfect for both. The self-service bay worked perfectly. They even took my credit card instead of making me rummage around for quarters. I got the worst of the mud off and made the car looking decent with one swipe of my credit card. Step 2 was to go to the automatic wash and have it get the rest of the residue off and run it through the dryer. I opted for the $10 wash. The owner was hanging out and watched my car go through the cycle. When I was finished he said the wax did not properly dispense on that side and invited me to go to the other bay and he would run me through again on his dime where the wax would work. I really appreciated his wanting my car to be right. I don't know what it is with somebody who gave them a really bad rating but I found the place to be clean, everything in working order and well serviced by staff. After the carwash you can pull into a vacuuming stall to use one of complimentary vacuums to vacuum your entire interior! There are trash bins available to easily discard any unwanted trash. Also they used blue tape to secure the back wiper blade and other moving parts to keep it held in place. There are microfiber towels available for purchase for $2. One-time glass cleaning cloth available for $1, one-time use drying cloth for a $1 and also dash dressing and car air fresheners available for purchase as well. End result - our vehicle was clean both inside & out for the new year! Would use Tommy's again!
