I had water damage to one of my room upstairs due to a radiator leak. I wasn't sure if we needed to do just the 1 room or the whole upstairs since the wood is all connected. When I had spoken to him on the phone he said there may be a slightly different color if we do just the one room. So before he came out, I asked if he can get us both quotes. He came out when I wasn't home but my wife was. He didn't measure anything. Look at the room where the damage was and left. He didn't look at the rest of the upstairs. I didn't get a message for him so I texted him. He gave me a quote for the one room. I asked, do you have a quote for how much it would be for the whole upstairs. He said he didn't look at the other room upstairs. I described the size of the other room upstairs and he texted back with a quote. I asked if you can send me in writing the 2 quotes. He said he has to charge me $150 for the quotes. Then I said, "What? Why?" He never responded. Just in case he didn't see it, I text him again the next day. He didn't respond again. Extremely disappointed with him and his lack of response.

Nathalia came out to measure the areas to be refinished and provided a formal quote within a few hours. Doctor Flooring was one of the most competitive and also had good availability for turnaround. At the last minute, I also decided to get hardwood installed on the attic floor, that was previously carpeted. Roni and Nathalia came out at short notice to quote and recommended a new sub floor and could do that project before the sanding project downstairs. Roni and team worked the two projects in my house back to back, even on a Saturday. They took care to protect walls and clean up as they went.
