We like to go to the vinyl nights that Tom Perrone has, with other people from 8 o'clock shot (the best group on facebook). Tom and Maria were hosting a Wednesday night Vinyl Night at Fadely's. This place is so interesting. I couldn't stop looking around at all the decor, everywhere I looked I saw something new tucked into one of the nooks & crannies of the place. It was raining when we went but the outside looked like a great place to be. There was one spot where you can shelter from the rain and they hung an upside down Christmas tree in it. The drink offerings seem to be a wide variety and good choices. I don't drink alcohol so I had my orange juice and seltzer which is one of my go to drinks if I'm not having a non alcoholic beer. Everyone here was nice and friendly including the bartender. I would come here again, a nice place to hang out.

There's no dedicated parking lot, but there is some decent parking along the side streets nearby that shouldn't give you too much issue. This place is a nice change up from the typical scene you see a long main street. It might not be the loud and club like vibe you might be looking for, but for me that's quite alright. Now I've pervious performed at and attended over 100 open mics, at different bars, venues, houses etc, and believe me when I say this was one of my all-time favorite. All the musicians were super talented, the host was a pro's pro, and the audience were incredibly supportive & engaging. The space just felt warm, friendly and had a calm yet electric buzz the entire evening. Also, the bartender, Penny, really seemed to set the tone for the entire bar. She is extremely welcoming, witty and just an all-around positive person. You can tell she really enjoys her job and makes sure that her patrons are having a good time. I was sticking to non-alcoholic ginger beer all night and she only charged me $2 each, how kind is that?! All in all, a true gem of a bar with an open mic that I will 1,000% return to.

First, if your place is simply too small to host an event like this, don't host it. The bar has maybe 12-15 tables and a rectangular bar. There was never enough room for the crowd that showed up. Second, if you're expecting people who have never been there before, tell them reservations are accepted. A simple line in the event announcement would have saved a lot of frustration. We showed up an hour early and stood in line to be seated for 15-20 minutes before a waitress finally told us every table had been reserved. She also explained that many of the customers were regulars who weren't leaving anytime soon. Then she took down names for a waiting list, only to tell everyone that we might never actually get called. So what was the point of taking names? By the time 7:00 rolled around, the place was packed beyond belief. If the fire code wasn't being tested, I'd be surprised. It felt like being packed in like sardines. Fortunately, I know the collectibles dealer who works with Jose Reyes, so I was able to meet Jose outside, get photos with him, and also with Mr. and Mrs. Met. That made the trip worthwhile. When I went back inside to say hello to a friend, I thought I was going to get trampled by the crowd. After that, we left. If Rudi's didn't want my business, the Cheesecake Factory certainly did. Of fresh chopped meat formed by hand and cooked to perfection. My girl and I chose med rare. This place makes me happy.
