Not knowing how to unwind the dangerous spring that I find can literally KILL YOU and wasn't on the agenda for the night, I chose to google and found "Ohio Door". Rob answered the phone and after a few words spoken on price (Cheapest I found after 3 calls), he was at my house in 25 minutes. Rob is very precise and fast, as if the two qualities are remotely related. lol. Rob mentioned that he may run into other issues such as garage door wire being rusted and that he would let me know. Now, as you can imagine, this may sound as a lead in for an additional fee. After all, he is at my house and I am stranded and at his mercy. So, twenty minutes had passed and I went outside to see how he and his partner were coming along. To my surprise, they were finished. No additional charge! They came on time and were done in two hours. They even added a couple missing bolts to the door hardware, reinforced an area of the door that was splitting, wired the door opener buttons, and all for one set price. Very good price for the work. The doors open like a dream! Very satisfied. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because they didn't offer a warranty on their work.

They responded back quickly and was able to schedule an immediate team of experienced technicians that evaluated the situation, offer multiple options and immediately resolve the problem within a very short period of time. They had all of the required parts in their vehicle which allowed them to quickly jump on the problem and bring it to closure within a very short period of time. They also did the required annual maintenance to the door and closure unit while there and provided further insight on the ongoing maintenance that I also could address in the future to help reduce any further problems. Last week I scheduled service - then changed the appointment from Tues to Wed. AD cancelled the…read moreappointment and never rescheduled me. When they didn't show, I called. No apology for the error. "I don't know who you talked to, but you're not in the schedule. It shows you canceled." I tried to reschedule. Next appointment that worked with my schedule was a week out. I booked the appointment, but commented that I was going to call and see if I could get someone else out sooner. The guy became really rude. AD: "I'm gonna cancel. You want me to cancel?" Me: "No, don't cancel." AD: "But you said you were gonna call someone else. I need to free up the appointment if you're not going to show." Me: "I will call and cancel IF I find someone else." AD: "If you're just going to cancel again, I'll cancel you now." Me: "I DIDN'T CANCEL THE FIRST TIME. KEEP THE APPOINTMENT. I WON'T CALL ANYONE ELSE." He sounded offended that, after a scheduling error on their part and waiting two weeks for an appointment, I would look around for something earlier. I've had good service from them before. But this guy has single-handedly turned me away from Action Door.
