I first used his services over ten years ago to find an electrical problem that was causing my battery to run down on my 1994 Chevy Suburban which is not used often and sits for long periods without use. To make a long story short, he found the problem that nobody else, including the Chevrolet dealer, could find and then solved the problem for a very reasonable price. Just last month I took another problem I had with my 2009 Honda Odyssey to him because two other places, including the Honda dealer, could not find the problem. Even though John had never dealt with a problem like this one, he did research on the Internet and talked with the ControlPro technical support team at Pacific Accessory Corporation, who makes the device that interfaces with the steering wheel controls that weren't working. He also researched the electrical diagrams for my vehicle. When he had finished his research, I drove the vehicle to his shop in Quincy. He then proceeded to try and find the problem. When he was unable to find out why the steering wheel controls were not working, he did not give up. He had to talk again to the ControlPro support staff several times before it was discovered that the wiring diagram in the ControlPro documentation for my vehicle was incorrect. John was the only person who was diligent enough and determined enough to find this issue and eventually get the steering wheel controls to work. John charged me a very fair price for all this work, and did not charge me anything for all the research he did. I would give John ten stars if I could. He is amazing!!

John is extremely kind, intelligent, and cares about finding the best solution. I highly recommend…read morehis shop.

I run a Stihl 444 Magnum (One of the powerful saws that Stihl makes) which is definitely not a saw for beginners... Long story short my saw came back pissed off and barley running, turns out the head gasket was blown while in my son in-laws possession. I took the saw into Sierra cycle to have it repaired and initially everything seemed decent, the staff was very friendly and said they'd have it back in working shape within about a week... Two weeks went by without a word from Sierra Cycle, so I called the shop and after a lengthy discussion was told that there was no record or memory of my saw ever being dropped off... I was asked to bring in my copy of the work order, so I did, that didn't help my endeavor though because now I was being told that my saw was picked up already... I wasn't about to let my saw just vanish. I dug and dug looking into every possibility that presented itself and eventually after 3 months I found a young guy in town that had 90% of my saw, vin numbers don't lie but unfortunately the staff at Sierra Cycle does. The young man told me he had purchased the majority of my saw in a crate amongst other chainsaw parts and guess who he bought it from? The son of Andy who is the owner of Sierra Cycle. Be careful folks, that business is shady on a good day, you'll never catch me doing business with such crooked folks. I'm confident that karma will come out victorious on my accord... Just a matter of time!
