What followed was completely unbelievable. Right after they touched that negative wire, the car refused to start at all--the starter motor was dead. I never had a single starting issue before bringing it to them. Instead of taking responsibility, they refused to admit any fault and forced me to pay out of pocket for a new starter just to get my car off their lot. I paid simply to avoid a confrontation. But the nightmare didn't end there. As soon as I drove away, I noticed the HVAC blower fan was broken, stuck running at a single speed that couldn't be adjusted. I drove right back, only to be dismissed and told to "come back later." When I confronted them about taking responsibility, they offered the most ridiculous response: claiming that fixing one bad wire sent "proper current" that somehow destroyed my starter and blower motor! Fixing ONE bad wire ended up creating TWO major new problems right under their care, and honestly, I don't even know what else might be damaged in my car that I haven't discovered yet. We had to drive an additional 40 mins round trip to get a spare set of keys (luckily we had one) otherwise we wouldn't have been able to pick up the car until Monday, the day after my son had to be back in Iowa for work. Now you know, too. While I waited, I walked around the neighborhood and had lunch at the gyro stand across the street. There is also a bar next door, if you prefer to wait there. The work was completed a half hour earlier than quoted, and they saved me $150-$200 compared to the other quotes I received. It's been a few months, and I've had no issues or concerns. I'll be using Lincoln Auto Service and Tires for any of their other services that my car needs, and I recommend them!
