We are very happy with our system. Water is not hard, no mineral build up and hair is soft after a shower. Customer support has been very good. Appointments are kept and technicians are on time. I bought a new construction house with the Dupure RO filters already installed. When I ordered the replacement filters after a year, they sent me the wrong type even though they have my system record on file. I wasn't able to install it and called the service guy. The service person, Victor, was professional and patient. He immediately realized the filters were wrong and offered to waive the service charge. He then contacted the home office to make sure this won't happen again. I'm very happy with the outcome even with the snafu. Also caution users to verify if you really have received the correct product. It would be a disaster if I tried to force it. read more

I called Dupure earlier this week to get a price for my R/O system and Evolve Whole home water softener. I was quoted $429.86. When I called back and said I had sticker shock from that total the attendant offered to remove a $50 inspection fee from the total. I inquired about the breakdown of the total and was informed that it would be $49.98 for Stage 1 & 3 filters, $139.95 for the membrane, $139.95 trip charge and $50 inspection fee. As other comments have noted, and as was confirmed by the Dupure attendant, OMNIPURE MANUFACTURES THE FILTERS FOR DUPURE. For $225, I am installing a PuroTwist manifold with Omnipure filters that I can get for a fraction of the cost of what Dupure is charging. I actually informed the Dupure attendant of this and their only substantive comeback was that this system offered a 10 year warranty. That's great but assuming you have to pay $429.80 each year you replace the filters, by the time you exhaust the 10 year warranty on the manifold (which is truly the only thing covered) you could have bought a new manifold, filters, tank, etc. each year (at $225) for the next ten years AND have about $2,050 left over. Unlike other reviewers, I have not experienced terrible customer service from Dupure and have nothing bad to say about the quality of the products I received. I just have to question the sustainability charging customers WAY WAY TOO MUCH for what you're getting when compared with other similar products on the market. If you're in the market for a water softener and/or R/O system do your homework and compare notes on what you get for the price. read more

I had the middle of the line softener installed along with the reverse osmosis drinking system at the kitchen sink. The water is great. My sales guy was the best! I'm expecting Rab back any day to do the final check but I couldn't be happier. I financed it so I could take advantage of the free soap products. I have not received the information yet on how to order these products but it has only been about 3 weeks since installation. Very happy with the system. read more

Dupure has recently contacted me about my review and informed me of a change of management, and that they would like to help fix my problems. They definitely came 90% there. They came over 2 weeks later for free to replace all 3 of my water filter membrane tubes (which I did buy) and an inspection on my water conditioner. That went most excellently. We then also scheduled an appointment to move my water conditioner in my garden to my garage. Them having put it in my garden was a huge problem for me, and one of the reasons I was quite upset with them. They offered to do it for $250, which I found very reasonable. I chose an afternoon appointment for 7 weeks later, which they say is a window between 1pm and 5pm. The workers showed up early (was not yet home) and said they left because "Only 1 person came and it would take 2 people to do the job". I believe this was a lie so they didn't have to wait for me (30 minutes) to get home. We rescheduled for a week later and the workers never showed up and never called. We rescheduled again for 2 weeks later and that appointment finally worked. ONE installer showed up, but he did an excellent job. Though there had been some miscommunications with him on the ability to use water in the house while he was working, which caused some minor problems. read more

I love my Dupure system! My water tastes and feels clean, which I suppose is what the system is supposed to do... No problems with it or the company. After having the system for about 4 months, I recently spent the night at my sisters house in Tomball. I jumped in the shower that morning and was completely surprised to feel how UNBELIEVABLY hard her water is. It hurt!!! I have showered over there for years and didn't realize it until now, I guess... It really does make a difference! read more

Terrible experience with my mother and fathers system. Won't return a call, they won't answer questions, they just charge them for service, they paid $4000 for this system and now They can't get service. Kasie won't return their call, very disappointing. One year it was $280, the next year $500, elderly cannot afford this. They've lost their business and mine as well, now you decide if this is what you want? This company is a rip off. Their replacement filters are very expensive, not available in the market. They provide very poor instructions on how to install them and when you call and they force you to have their technician install them. DO NOT INSTALL THEIR DRINKING WATER FILTERS, IT WOULD RATHER BE CHEAPER TO BUY BOTTLED WATER Horrible customer service. They call to let me know arrival time which is was great finished the job and left no mess. The reason I called was my water softener was not softening the water. So my only suggestion for the repairmen and the company is when checking the water for hardness ask the customer if they would like to witness the process. Also when they find an malfunctioning part in the machine let the customer know before it's replaced. These suggestions could protect the company and also give the customer a clear understanding of what took place. I'm not saying that anything wrong took place but I really don't know because I was not given the opportunity to witness anything. I don't want to follow them around but when something is found the customer should be notified. read more

We had a DuPure reverse osmosis and Evolve with crystal water softener in our DR Horton home that we purchased in 2013. I really liked how the softener kept our shower glass free of spots. We noticed a difference in the freshness of our laundry which had an odor to it prior to having the system. We also loved the convenience of not buying bottled water anymore. read more

I keep getting emails for replacement for filter for my system then it gives choice of filters then u can't find what they show. Very frustrating! But my bigger issue is we have the drinking water filtration and the fountain started leaking. I called numerous times but was told to adjust it. Only once I was out of warranty did they say I need to pay for a service call to have it fixed. So I have been with out my system months now. So I then asked if since I needs filters replaced and the thing repaired can they do they at same time and was told no! It would require 2 service calls!!! So at this point not very happy with their customer service!! read more

Please never buy Dupure water softener and their service is not professional and definitely rude and doesn't listen to customer. I had requested to check my home water softener and let me know what needs to be replaced and then replace the filter (media shield) if it needs to be replaced. The Tech came and replaced the filter and then checked the water pressure and said the resin is bad which will cost ~$900 and the filter replacement won't work until we replace the resin in the softener and left saying the Dupure office staff will contact me. The staff Markez contacted me and said resin replacement will cost ~$900 for which I said I don't want the resin replaced for that much high cost as I can't afford it at the moment and also said now that the Dupure warranty is not transferable so the softener doesn't carry any warranty (these days even a small equipment carries warranty transfer). H e wanted to to pay the softener filer replacement and service amount ~$420. Since the softener can't work without the resin replacement, the filter replacement doesn't make sense and the Tech could have tested the water pressure and water hardness before replacing the filter so I can inform the Tech not to replace the filter which was not done in this case. Also, I was not informed ahead that even after replacing the filter the softener might not work and might need other replacements so I could have decided not to go ahead with filter replacement (common sense). Now the staff Markez disconnected my call today saying they will forward the payment to debt collection as I am not paying. This is ridiculous as their highly trained Tech went ahead with filter replacement and then said resin is bad without informing ahead as I would have not gone ahead with filter replacement as it doesn't make sense to go ahead and replace the filter as the softener still won't work. Highly unprofessional and rude staff. Please please please DO NOT go with Dupure. read more

This company is a complete rip-off!! My Trendmaker home came with a DuPure 2-stage water filter under the kitchen sink. I called and was told the replacement filters were $135 from DuPure. After doing further research, it turns out DuPure does not even manufacture the filters themselves. A company by the name of Omnipure makes the filters for DuPure and puts the DuPure name on the product. Further, Omnipure makes a proprietary valve head for DuPure to force you to get the replacement filters from DuPure. After researching, I learned that the same filters are available online in the Omnipure Q Series line of filters. Just do a Google search. You first need to convert your Dupure valve heads to Omnipure Q valve heads (Part VH14-JG). A two-stage filter will need 2 valve heads. I purchased the Omnipure valve heads for $25 each on Amazon. I also found the replacement filters on Amazon. I used the Omnipure Q5405 for the prefilter and Omnipure Q5415 for the second stage. I just removed the metal bracket from the wall, disconnected the tubing, loosened the screws, and switched out the heads. Just add the new valve heads to the existing metal bracket. Then, instead of paying DuPure $135 for replacement filters, you can pay Amazon $36 to switch out your filters. read more

I called to set an appointment with them to get information on there water softeners to compare to other companies and all I got was the runarounds from one of there sales representatives, he kept rescheduling with me and then after twice of rescheduling he doesn't show up. My unit was installed just over a year ago. It was not installed very well. I have been complaining ever since with a " everything is fine" over the phone. So as I expected(but what would I know) the power went out. As I had explained time and time again. It was the installation. But they told me it was the Computor board and they would finally send out service guy to replace board and do a 20 point inspection. They immediately sent out the bill. Before they knew what the problem was. Bill was $189.98, Well low and behold the problem wasn't the Computor board. It was the electrical cord.....that had not been installed correctly. I call Marque and told him it was what I had said it was all along. Asked him why I had to pay for a problem that part if original installation. He began to give me the run a round as to why I had to re pay for their poor installation. So I called for management and got the run a round again from the girl that answered the phone. DO NOT BUY DUPURE WATER SOFTENER!!! This company does not deserve even a star since their water softener equipment has already caused mineral build up on our shower heads and faucets. We've been having problems with the water softener system right after it was installed by Dupure International. The drinking water stops flowing and we constantly have to contact Dupure Intl for service.They kept on replacing the reverse osmosis filters under the sink but after a month or so they would get clogged again because the system couldn't soften the water properly and the water which was still containing unwanted minerals was coming through the pipes and therefore it was clogging the reverse osmosis membrane and the other two filters over and over again. At one time we even had some bacteria in the pipes going to the water softener unit as I was told by the company's manager who came to my house, this made the drinking water have a metallic taste so he told me to bypass the unit until the bacteria was washed off. At another time one of their technicians came and replaced the reverse osmosis filters and after a few hours after he left which was on a Friday, one of the filters leaked over night and when we came to the kitchen in the morning on Saturday the whole floor was covered by water, we called them immediately and finally another technician came on Monday and replaced the defective filter, that same technician told me that the DuPure products including the filters didn't have a good quality. All the faucets in our three bathrooms have mineral buildups and one of these had already been replaced. We had an experience with another water softener company called Culligan Water Softener for more than 15 years and their water softener was problem free and we even brought the units when we moved to two different homes in California. Unfortunately, I couldn't find this company in Texas when I wanted the water softener. Dupure has recommended for us to get the biggest unit they have but we have to pay another $3000. Basically their equipment does not work properly. They do not respond to our emails and are refusing to remove the system from our house. read more

My new house came with a dupure system. I set up appointment for 8 p.m. They called at 8:45.....45 minutes late and said they would be there in 25 minutes and would need 45 minutes of our time. Now after reading the reviews I'm not going to do business with them. Sounds like they are a rip off company with poor customer service. read more

When I bought a new house, the under sink filter was not installed till a call to Dupure for installation. That is how the sales man, Johnny, came and made the sale of the expensive $4000 EcoPur S water filtration system on 6/16/2014. In the contract, 2 free Filter Changes are included for this purchase. I showed the copy of my contract to the original sales man, Johnny, and service representative, Markez, on 5/10/2019. My request for this free filter change had been ignored after numerous contacts with them in 3 months. Finally, I got a response and I was told that the free filter change is only for the under sink filter which was never installed by Dupure 5 years ago. Now, I can get an "discounted price $1102" for the filter change of the one I bought. What?! You certainly do not want to have any business with such an untrusted dishonorable company. read more
